my main questions are regarding Seismic Force. I see the powers that say they generate it. So, ....I can get that memorized. How do I monitor how much of this crap I got? Is it a mystery. Related. Stalagmite. This looks like a real turd for a T8 power. You gotta be on the ground, and it does almost know damage. Oh, it has a mag 3 stun. So you can dick around with a minion if you want to stay amused. But it does EXTREME (mids has no numbers, and makes no promises) if you have these Seismic wave thingys. How many? Can you have more than one? Do I know if I got them? Was this just a "great idea" a Dev had after one two many lungfulls of bong inspiration? Then the rest of the team was like "it adds flavor, and it doesnt overpower the set (heh) so lets let him put it on"

Just tanked Lord Recluse in the Master of Miss Liberty. Felt good. Now I did load in with large purple and orange inspirations. Even with my INSANE endurance management tricks I still needed (i think two?) blue insp pulled from email. But the thing worked pretty darn well. Never felt "Oh My Gawd Iz Gonna Ruin Dis" Someone in General was asking me a couple hours ago if my build needs insp. Now, normally it doesnt. I load out a few emergencies and a ton of cheap medium reds I chew when i'm bored. But...We all use Insp for Master runs....right? *looks around... right?

Ragdoll physics. Just….chef’s kiss. Too bad KB kills clear times. Particularly memorable is when you splat some npcs up against an invisible barrier and they brokenly slide down. It. Never. Gets. Old.

This being speaks truth. I joined a +4 speed Yin an hour ago. Overall it was a good experience. Sort of. You have to create your own happy. We get into the first mission. By the third spawn in i identify a huge issue. On my Dark Dark Tank I am racing to the new mobs spawn first. Taunting herding so the first round of AoEs hit hard. A MASSIVE knockback attack. Then someone drops ice slick on me and then an immobilize field. There is no way the mobs are coming back. In team chat I say "Hey, someone is doing massive KB and then other people are slowing the mobs from coming back in" two replies "oh the KB is mine, not sure why that is happening" and "We do not need a Tank" Heh. So for the rest of the TF I got as far away from that team as possible. My Tank can happily chew through +4 Freakshow at that level. Bye suckers. I went far out to the last objectives I could find and happily soloed those spawns.

I use a very high Resist build that is 90% "resistance debuff proof" standing cold and with Hybrid, Demonic Aura, or a small orange insp 100% Res debuff proof. Plan for the madness.

My Tank, a Dark Dark Nosferatu…has Fly on 98% time. That said he is normally exactly where he would be if he is walking. It just really helps me maneuver through the 3D environments.

I frequently post about my bad PUGs. Because lulz! But I have a lot of good teams I join. Redside team I joined tonight doing 54 story arc. Mean and fun. The old school LRSF I joined earlier today. Great team. Deaths yes, very few. One regroup in the final mission and we ground it home for the badge! Great team. No idea who they were. Task Force Junkies about two weeks ago where one long run netted be a big handful of MO badges I needed. Semi PUG there. Me being part of the pugly, i only roll with them when i see an ad go out in lfg. Thank you to everyone in the game! The good two shoes, the wretchedly bad, and the F-ing pugly.

I go edge case a LOT. My current main, a Dark Dark Tank...has no defense, does not build for it. none. But the focus of the build works, high resists, including energy, and pumping +tohit and +acc so the stun and fear auras regularly screw with minions. pumping recharge so that massive heal is always available. I have done many Blasters that are range only. Elec is a poor Blaster and nearly unkillable built this way. But a nearly unkillable mediocre Blaster can get a LOT of work done. My strangest case is probably the Invul/Kinetic Melee I made with ranged attacks. A "Tank Mage" in concept and play. It worked. No awards, but the damned thing worked.

I take full responsibility for my actions. But this was not my fault. Come, listen to my sad tale of woe... So I try for ten minutes to drum up interest in the weekly Justin. No takers. Sulk. Then I see an all Tanker ITF. Thats all it said. Maybe, further up there were a thousand ads that gave details. This just said "all Tank ITF 6/8, prefer 50s." I zoned and joined. We roll in and a couple people were also...confused. We had no incarnate powers and the mobs were +4 and there was a "no death" icon. I'm like. "Is this a master?" "Yes" "Cool, i need this badge!" 8 tanks, we got this. Although +4 seems slow, whatever. We get through the first mission, somewhat slowly. I am the only teammate (I saw) killing surgeons and engineers. We get to the big fight by the altar. The leader folds like its laundry day. followed by one or two others. The leader stays on the floor. For a while... I keep killing surgeons and doing my thing. Dark Dark is hard to put down built right, although the debuff to the recharge was painful. During my long downtime from having no powers to activate I ask "Are we restarting at +0 and getting out badge?" various responses, even from the leader, all seem positive. Then we complete the mission and they al head off to the 2nd mission. Still having that confused and confusing conversation. I could not help it. I cannot surround myself with that much stupidity. i can't. It makes the bad things happen. Again. and again. and one more time. And I went back to my base and posted this lament. Time to study more German I guess.

I honestly have no idea what the discussion is about. To me I cannot tell the difference. Then again I am trying to hear the difference between Apfel and Apfel with an umlaut A in German. Right now I would swear I was being catfished, it's the same sound! (It is a very short A with a slightly different intonation. I am guessing if you do not know the speakers regular tones you guess by context....maybe I'm wrong....) But it would be nice if there was an overall option in Menu/options/graphics and audio. Like where some games have blood and no blood. Ooooooo, Threadjack attack! Can we get more BLOOD? Please? I'm dying for this stuff.

I think we need the White Knight thread people here. But seriously, as Snarky as I am, I have pointed out a few logical issues with this. But the OP has also opened up that they struggle with OCD issues. Being batshit crazy myself (heavy on the bat) I understand that just because people say you could do things the "right way" you can still cave into an instantiable thirst for human blood. As an example. So the OP laments the populace has changed the market, either through loss of population or change in efficiency. Or both. Fair enough. It is hard to learn new ways, and this is a mostly relaxing pastime. In theory.

Yeah. What? look I suck at making money in game. Like, I suck at everything. But still I am rich in game I do not know what your strategy is for spending. Do you just buy everything at buy it now prices? I have a base with maybe 700-800 enhancers in it. When i build a toon i get 80% from there. Then buy from market. I buy cheap enhancements on market and convert if people are farming a niche. I wont pay top dollar. I take recipes and craft convert sell. Each nets me a few million+. Free cash. My converters are bought with merits from my endless gaming. When i stay on a toon for a significant time it just generates tons of cash. What are you doing? Constantly leveling new ideas and never playing a 50? That is the only way I know to go broke in game

I build Dark for resist and only Defense that randomly shows up in sets i choose for other reasons….very little. This work’s remarkably well in all content. Except I do not run Aeon much. Will need some experience there to make an good assessment. Yes, I have high energy resist as well. But no defense…except stealth, stun aura, fear aura and to hit debuffs….

I have often thought we need to re-vamp Paragon social programs….

you can get them but man do you get screwed lol i think ITF kill mosts are the most effective timewise for me. but i only run a few when i first 50 to open incarnate slots

Lot of ideas folks thanks lol. I ended up taking Operative Wellman's other short Arc. "Master of Destruction" This still had one kill all. But the Wyvern are easier than Longbow. Also, that map is 25% smaller. (cargo ship 3 section wyvern, vs 4 for LB) The destroy materials hunt is always a bit of a pain. But as a Dark Tank semi stealthed it was cake until I could not find the last forklift. But, as always, you find it. I think i will stick with this arc for my last two runs in the section. I did it with no enhancers just now. But i think it is just easier than Wellman's other arc.

Citizens are tough. Once in a great while you will see a Mayhem kill everyone pug form up. Get a decent number there usually. But the damn things flee immediately. Stun and hand grenade from p2w help… but a thousand citizens is a long haul
