That's actually Firestar, the Marvel Comics character. Starfire is the green-eyed, golden-skinned Tamaranean princess with more of an auburn to orange shade of hair (depending on the era of comics you're seeing her from).

Time to enforce the name holding expiration rules
Player2 replied to Kazuuk's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Man, take one day off from the forums to go to work and suddenly the thread grows by 3 pages. Hard no. Hell yeah to no! Some of the discussion seems to have turned from freeing up names from inactive accounts to trying to define what constitutes "active" enough to hold on to names... so yeah, some people seem to think it is about taking names from active players because I think some people want it to be that. Also, in response to my own last post in which I answered someone's question about having gotten any positive response from contacting players about obtaining a name... I would like to add that I have not been contacted once about this for any of the names that I have. However, I have taken it upon myself to give away a couple of names. Most recently I saw a player running a tanker named GEM ST0NE (using a zero in place of the O), and that kind of name substitution just... irritates me. I had the name Gem Stone on a brute sitting idle at level 23 and pretty much insisted he take the name (after he graciously told me I didn't have to give it up). I renamed my brute Gemma Stone and he signed out briefly and returned with his numberless name. Honestly, I think if we had a bit more opportunity to communicate with each other regarding names, it might be easier to work things out among ourselves. Someone in an earlier post today suggested that this whole topic is a great argument for the City Tracker tool, so we could see who has a given name where and when was the last time they were active. That way if the person logged in last week one could assume that no, they're not inactive and probably intent on keeping the name (but who knows for sure?), or at least we could have a better gauge about how to broach the topic with the individual ("Hey, I see you haven't logged [name] in for several months now. Are you planning to resume play with this toon, and is there any way I could convince you to part with the name?"), Some may feel a sense of invasive private messages to suddenly have people questioning how often they play. But as it is, that can happen now anyhow with the /getglobalname command, so all it would do is at least give the asking party a chance to be a bit more informed before they make a request. -
Time to enforce the name holding expiration rules
Player2 replied to Kazuuk's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
For me, I've had one positive experience dealing with an active player with the name of his main from Live. I created a character with the same name on one server, and he on another. I chose the server I thought friends were joining and when I asked to switch, he asked for a little time to figure out where his friends were going... a week later, he agreed to switch. Several months later, a couple of my friends moved back to where I'd started in the first place. I kept an eye out on the friends list and when I saw that player again, asked if he was happy with the switch. Turns out his friends gravitated to his first choice server as well, so we switched back again. It was all very friendly and such. Aside from that, no other response from people I've tried to get in contact with regarding names and I just gave up. Actually, one other... I did post a list of names in the character release thread that I was looking for. One player saw that and offered me the name where I was moving to. It happened much later after my initial request and I'd almost forgotten about it. But, yes... that makes two. -
Make enemy spawns related to zone event level agnostic
Player2 replied to Normal Thomas's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
While I think this works with some enemies that should scale with power throughout all levels (Rikti, Halloween monsters, etc), I don't think every spawn type needs to be able to challenge every character at any level. strikers surrounding Scrapyard are ordinary (but tough) people and should be capped at an appropriate level. If Superman showed up to deal with a powerful threat in Metropolis that rallied angry citizens around it, you wouldn't expect that those citizens are suddenly a match for Superman. I would recommend that if you want to be challenged by the level-appropriate zone content, then join a team with someone lower level leading so that you are exemped down to that level. -
What we need are more masks that are not simply color overlays. We have the jester mask (long and short nose), the hockey mask, some elemental thing, and women have the carnival masks. Personally, I would love to have a domino style mask that goes over the face like the jester mask (but with actual eye holes like the carnival masks).

That doesn't address the other aspect of my request, which would be to make such things available in the base builder for non-open zone use. Also, I am generally opposed to any reasoning for any action (or inaction) that results from an explanation with the word "appropriation" in it.

Time to enforce the name holding expiration rules

It isn't really an issue of manpower. See bottom of this post. This has actually been addressed already on page 2. See GM Impervium's reply below. As for how much work it might be, well... there was a script of this nature run in the past. Not sure if they have access to that code or if they have to write their own, or maybe they have access to the old but need to make changes to it to account for changes to the game that Homecoming has made (such as increasing character slots to 1000 per shard per account). -

One at a time. I get character ideas in my head and go searching for names. I usually make a list up ahead of time to check, ones that I will consider acceptable to my character concept. If I can get that name, good for me. If not, I move down the list in order of most desired first to least desired. If there are names remaining after the more preferred ones on my list, I will check them to and suggest them here for others. I know good names are difficult to get for some, and so I share. As I'm going through checking these alternative names, I also come up with other ideas and will check & add them to the list if available.

A guy I found on DeviantArt. https://www.deviantart.com/teh-dave/gallery

Make this the last step of your costume creation process. Select the No Head option you want, apply colors as desired. Select any normal head option. Set your aura and choose a color. Change your head back to the headless option. It should retain the modifications you previously made and hold the aura. Even going back to the aura selections at this point will clear your glowing eyes aura. So if you need to, repeat the above steps before finishing.

Don't forget your obligatory trip to Warburg to pick up your nukes.

Double Jeopardy Dual Pistols / Martial Combat Blaster

Sure, if you want to be technical about the proper name. I just want the holiday decorations in general to be more accessible.

Aquaduct (formerly Flood, but lost the name when I moved to Torchbearer from Excelsior) Water Blast / Bio Armor Sentinel

Could we get an alternate animation option for the medicine pool power Injection to use the Experimental Injection animation with the big syringe? I know it has some range to it, so just let it make the stabby-stabby move and launch a Tranq Dart (Science Origin) at the target. I'm just saying... because the power is called injection, and what it actually does is project a wave of tricorder energy at a target.
-
As for using these pools, yes I do. I try to squeeze in Sorcery on any spellcasting character I have for the sake of flavor. On a number of characters I try to squeeze in both Force of Will and Presence to have both Unleash Potential and Unrelenting on standby. And I have two characters that were a perfect fit for Experimentation. My favorite tanker is a science-based grower (using costume change emote of drinking a potion to switch from 5' to 8' tall). Having other chemical compounds on hand to weaken foes (Corrosive Vial) and and boost my damage & recharge (Adrenal Booster) in those tough fights. Plus, it's really fun to shout "I stabbed you with science" as I hit squishy ally with big syringe full of green liquid (Experimental Injection). The other is my homebrew attempt at a melee support character... a martial arts / willpower scrapper with Experimentation, Medicine, and Leadership pools so I can heal, rez, buff, and debuff.

Force of Will isn't "Natural," it would be the Mutant option. Psionics (weaken resolve, project will) is pretty common among mutants... and regenerating (which unleash potential boosts) is the signature power of Marvel's most popular mutant. The origin pools are: Sorcery = Magic Force of Will = Mutant Experimentation = Science Gadgets = Technology Utility Belt = Natural https://archive.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Utility_Belt It sounds like Utility Belt belt might cross over with Gadgets for Technology, but the gadgets that come out of the utility belt are a little less tech oriented (bola, poison dagger), but this set also includes a more Natural-friendly travel power of Free Running and a non-gadget attack with Flying Strike.

Another base request: the Winter Forest sky is a breathtaking view and not holiday specific. It would be a great addition to the sky options in the base creator.
-
I'd say that's on point, and maybe more than one... like on in a few different dumpsters.
-
Side note... could we get the holiday decorations (trees, light strings, and also that jaccuzi hot tub) added to base items so we can decorate our private spaces for the holidays? The Christmas presents might also be nice... the ones we see lying in the streets as well as the one that gets thrown with the Super Strength -> Hurl power.
-
The Paragon officials do alright changing over Atlas Park in preparation for the holidays... but is there any chance next year that they could put up the holiday tree from the Winter Forest in the little park clearing area in front of Ms. Liberty? And maybe some of the surrounding buildings could put up lights? Nearly every window in the city can get Halloween decorated... it'd be nice to see a little more cheeriness in the winter.
-
Is there any chance that the auras could be separated from this hat to give us a non-flaming or non-steaming version?

Back to the holiday stuff, because you better watch out, you better not pout... Horror Claus (is coming to town!!) Darkness Control / Darkness Affinity Controller Through a fog of blood and souls he comes for you, and it won't matter if you've been naughty or nice.
