I'm not sure. There are lots of doorways I'd love to see used. There's a door in a small island off Mercy near the Chum badge I've never seen used, for example.

One of my favorites 🙂

This should totally have been a feature since Issue 1. 😀

I'm so disappointed, I almost thought this was going to start off as haiku! 😄

Are you saying I need to go back to using the LFG tool? 😃

Its been just over 8 months since the revival of the game came to my attention on the heels of my birthday, and it was the best birthday present ever. The community is as awesome as it ever was, here on the forums, and on Everlasting. However long we have, I appreciate the second run, all the folks forming groups, helping each other out in game or out, the donations made to keep the lights on, and the dev-time and effort. They saying is you can't go back home, but that's not true in this case. I came back home and its better than ever. I hope to one day find some old SG mates here as well (so far no luck, but you never know). You all rock. See you in Paragon!

Singy is love. Once I learned the peculiarities of Grav over Plant, it became my favorite controller set. Singularity holds aggro, sets up containment, and spams controls.

Here you go. Capped to Ranged Defense. Things don't really get to melee you, or even care about you, since the pets are tanky and tough and don't need tankerminding. Solid resists for S/L/E as well. I procc'd out Force Bolt, it can do respectable damage. http://www.cohplanner.com/mids/download.php?uc=1510&c=700&a=1400&f=HEX&dc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

Sure thing. I had an old one around here, but I've revised it. I'll post tomorrow.

Here is the data chunk. Soft capped to range. Anything in melee is debuffed to soft cap as well. I went with Musculature Radial for all the extra damage. I think my live build on the server is a bit different with some tweaks, but overall this is the same ballpark. Fortify the Pack is not needed (keep it on your tray, unused, as the Pack Mentality buffs are useful for extra crit/damage), your pets are soft-capped, but if they get debuffed, feel free to use it or Hybrid Support. However, Time's Juncture's -To Hit tends to keep that from happening. My Demons/Dark MM. What happens when you expose an accountant with a Mu bloodline to demonology? Why "Demonomics" of course. -
Hadn't forgotten. Just a bit busy!

I'm gonna underscore Thugs/Time. I've got mine fully incarnated. He's and the boys are a buzzsaw. Time offers everything Thugs need to keep causing their mischief: AoE healing with HoTs that can be used preemptively before taking damage. -To Hit and -Damage Slow aura to debuff enemies. Slow and Hold proc field. +To Hit and +Defense, easily soft capped. Regeneration. Single Target +Damage and Regen for your Bruiser or Arsonist. A ST hold for annoying Lts. I won't argue /Dark. It's the other clear chief of secondaries for MMs, and I love it on my Demons. Totally different approach from Time. Both have control elements but Time focuses more on buffing and Dark focuses on debuffing.

Yes to both. Poison excels at taking on tough single mobs: AVs, GMs. But it is sorely lacking in the necessary buffs that pets need in team content, unless those buffs are provided from another teammate. It's a specialized set. Sonic is a decent set that is (like FF) outshined by other sets, and is notable for it's status protection. However FF is more viable in that defense better for pets than resistance due to their low hit points. The resistance numbers from Sonic on their own aren't very high, but they become serviceable with pets that do have resistance to stack with it, such as demons and beasts. Even better with Beasts because they can also bring in their own Defense to layer protection. Thermal generally does what Sonic does (except status protection) but also heals. Resistance requires healing as part of the overall strategy. Particularly AoE healing for MMs. */Poison for small teams or soloing big game. Beasts/Sonic for a solid pairing. I think it's one of the better matches for Sonic . Just make sure to get Aid Other for spot healing. The pet self heal is not reliable.

ranged pet update MM Pets & Henchmen Updates (Jan 23rd Update)
Force Redux replied to Dr Causality's topic in Mastermind
The AI changes really opened up tactics for my MMs. My Bots/FF was able to use Force Bubble to keep farm mobs our of melee while the pets stayed in place and used range. Very handy, for instance. Normally the Bubble is too big and pets run it of it. Not any more! -
Absolutely. I'll do it after I get through my shifts this week. I'll post on Sunday.

Agreed @oldskool ; Cones are my least favorite attacks (I incarnated a Sonic Blast, among other things, so I've given them a good shot). Wide ones are decent (such as Steam Spray, which I found rather easy to aim and forgiving). But my favorite AoEs are Targeted ones. Water Burst is also visually appealing, but the Knockup is also useful. And it recharges fairly quickly. So much to like there. Its the 'perfect' TAOE in my humble opinion.
-
@Darkir I could see it being useful in some builds. Fortunately, my MM doens't really need recharge (one of the few builds I have that doesn't need it..!). With the PPM changes, a smashing damge proc doesn't really make sense either. /thinking cap

Well I learned something today about RF's failure to proc KD often on my Bots/FF MM. It's a shame that Bonfire is as awesome as it is with SA, but RF is nerfed with KD. I've been dissatisfied with the rate of KD. Now I know why. I'll remove the SA proc and toss in something else. I have END to spare, so I'll keep the power. On the plus side, with the MM pet AI changes KB'd foes aren't very problematic. The Bots don't chase anything anymore!

Water burst of is love.

PS - electric and EAs visuals kept me going. They are really pretty 😃😃

+1 I just incarnated my Electric/Energy sent today up to T3 Alpha /Judgement/ Interface. It wasn't until my mid 40s that I felt my damage wasn't anemic. I'm not sure what it was outside of the plain math that made it feel worse than even my Defenders outside of getting IO sets completed, but for a dps class, even a second string one, it was a bit disheartening. My MMs are as tough, offer more team support, and do more damage. In exchange for pet wrangling, I guess? However, build now complete, it finally came together. Even exemplared down for Penelope Yin, my damage was solid, if not stellar (and compared to when I was running Yin at 24, much more capable). But I was also the sturdiest dps on any team. Fair trade. I did not build to sap. I built for damage with only a few procs in attacks. Nothing tricky, but I spent quite a bit of inf as I do with all my end builds and have what I wanted: a damage dealing skirmisher with some controls (hold, immob) who can take a beating on the front lines without hovering away. Pretty much any set can function well I'd hazard to say. Some blossom later than others. I've got about seven Sentinels in the 40s in my pursuit of looks, style, and performance. This is the one that clicked for me. DP/Nin with incendiary ammo was decent. Better than low level Electric. Water/Bio was solid damage. Not so tanky as EA at lower levels while on offensive, however. OP, try a few out. See what works. It's easy to level in HC. But be patient. Some builds take time to fall into place. I love my Grav/Dark controller, but it took me two tried to get there. Slotting and sets really are integral for performance. Enjoy. Sentinel has many fun powers, may you find the ones that help you soar. I'm glad I stuck it out with my Electric/EA - I'm really enjoying mine.

Water is also good, especially if you pay attention to the Tidal Force mechanic. Decent ST, excellent AoE, a variety of damage types (smash, cold, fire), with some KD for minor crowd control. And visually quite appealing!

Plus the damage on Fire/ Maybe an Oni theme...
