  1. Even worse. Everyone knows the only vegetable that mint chocolate goes with is beets!
  2. I agree about the music. And if you haven't, I highly recommend reading Cary Elwes' book As You Wish, about the making of the movie. A lot of gold in it, and some parts are jusrt as funny as the film itself.
  3. I'd liked to have seen a remake of Highlander.....about 15 years ago with Gerard Butler, who actually is Scottish but looks too old for the part now. Provided they somehow kept the Queen soundtrack of the original. I've no desire to hear a cover of "Princes of the Universe" .....unless Hayseed Dixie or Postmodern Jukebox do it. (The Tenors did an excellent version of "Who Wants To Live Forever", though.) As much as I like Ryan Reynolds, I'm glad the remake with him isn't happening. Agree completely with a Max Headroom update. How about a remake of the old tv show Automan, but as a theatrical movie that is about the character's origin, and make it more comical? ie, Kevin Hart in Dezi Arnaz Jr's role.
  4. 6. Hudson Hawk - I think you spelled "Die-Hard" wrong. Hudson Hawk isn't even one of the top 5 best Bruce Willis movies. (Top 10, yes. Top 5, no.) (And by Robocop and Total Recall, I assume you mean the originals, not the remakes?)
  5. Mint with broccoli? Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!! If you want mint on a pizza, it should be a Lemon Bacon Garlic Mint pizza! (Lemon and Bacon toppings, with a Garlic Mint sauce.) (I jokingly tell my wife that if I ever make ice cream, that's what I plan to make: Lemon Bacon Garlic Mint ice cream.)
  6. Fire is fine, if your secondary is Trick Arrow. Char will ignite the Oil Slick (I don't believe Bonfire does?), and Rise of the Phoenix comes in handy if you faceplant. But I agree the set needs a shield. I have a Mercs/TA with Fire, and I like to combo Glue Arrow or Oil Slick Arrow (or both) with Bonfire. I also have a Bots/Dark with Fire, but he really only uses Bonfire, and I may respec out if it down the road. (Which sets have KD IO's?)
  7. No Yunmy Mummy?! The only MM I have with named pets is my Bots/Dark, Doc Terror. Tier 1 - Odin, Thor, Loki Tier 2 - Gigantor, Voltron Tier 3 - Deathscythe I plan on re-naming the T1s, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
  8. Did you have to put an extra slot into Stamina because of keeping Speed of Sound on? Or do you carry extra blue inspirations?
  9. Illusion/Rad Controller - Slow going early on, but once you get Phantom Army, you will be a soloing machine! Rad gives some great debuffs, a heal, and Fallout rocks the house if you're teaming and a teammate falls during a big fight. Dual Pistols/Martial Combat Blaster - If you like Hong Kong action flicks (and even if you don't), you will be a walking one with this. Use Ki-Push, then shoot! Electric/Shield Stalker - You'll get just as much of a charge out of it as your enemies will! Bots/Dark MM - End heavy, but you're a walking army with great weapons and team stealth and healing. /Dark also pairs well with Mercs and Thugs because the Medic and Arsonist quite frankly suck at staying alive (ie usually the first to die), and the Medic doesn't always heal when he should.
  10. To me, DS9 jumped the shark when the Dominion War started up. My favorite DS9 moment is still Sisko punching out Q. I haven't seen Discovery yet, but I agree with Grindingsucks about the Klingons' new look. My only experience with that version so far is a few missions in Star Trek Online. As an alien race they look cool, but just not Klingon. The show I disown is ENTERPRISE. Cannot be canon, unless its canon to NuTrek. Too many things in it contradict things that had already been established. Categorizing the entire series as Riker fanfic would not be out of the question.
  11. Anyone have a good levelling build for an Electric/Shield Stalker? I've got one at lvl 15, currently. I'm not sure I'm going to pick up Build Up at all, and I've avoided taking Placate....so far.
  12. I only willingly eat at McD's if its breakfast time or McRib season (which it currently is, and I just finished eating one a few minutes ago). I don't really care for clown food.....
  13. Pineapple does not belong on pizza, unless its counterbalanced by the presence of jalapenos. And cheese pizza is simply a pizza base, NOT a pizza. Eating cheese pizza is like going to McDonald's and ordering a Big Mac without the special sauce.
  14. I have a Psi/Electric and a Fire/Dark. Of the two, the Fire/Dark solos much better. Primarily because the Psi/Electric burns through end way too fast in comparison. (Also have a Sonic/Time, but I mainly do team ups on him.)
  15. I'm not huge into tanking. Back on live, I had a Fiery/Battleaxe Tanker. Remade him in HC as a SJ/Fiery Brute. The only actual Tankers I have right now are a Shield/SS and a SR/Fire, and the highest is around lvl 20.
  16. If you don't want to melee, take Devices as your secondary. Not only do you have a stealth power (Field Operative) built into the set, but there aren't a lot of melee range powers. Powers you can use at close range, yes, but you don't necessarily have to. On my Electric/ Devices Blaster, I do use Taser, but only if my other stuns/holds are on cooldown and an enemy happens to be close enough to me. If you think you're going to be attacked at close range, drop a Trip Mine right in front of you. I like to hit enemies with Tesla Cage, then drop a Trip Mine at their feet. I use Trip Mine and Time Bomb together to take out multiple enemies at close range. Time Bomb has a 5 second timer, so you really have to use it at close range, but if Field Operative is active, you can sneak up behind enemies and drop the bomb. On the other hand, I have a DP/MC Blaster, and love to melee on him. He's a walking Hong Kong action flick. My Sonic/Ninja Blaster, I do use the sword attacks but only because they apply debuffs. I do hit and runs on that one.
  17. Redside is fun, but isn't perfect. There are plenty of times you feel more like a henchman instead of a villain in training, and too much villain fighting other villain situations. And why would Arachnos Soldiers and Widows - loyal ones, at least - accept missions that have them fighting other Arachnos? Some missions just seem like being a hero who can hurt civilians running around like chickens with rtheir heads cut off than an actual villain. There's too much street level robbery and stealing items for pure greed, and not enough raving lunatic/mad scientist type missions. I'd love to be able to unleash a giant robot or monster (or a pack of monsters) that go on a rampage throughout the zone.
  18. Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? .... GhostMachine knows! (My costume tribute to The Shadow.)
  19. Have to agree with Energy, but Dark doesn't seem to be much better. I've got a Dark/Regen Sentinel, and his damage output doesn't seem to be all that great. The status effects work fine, but the damage....not so much.
  20. Made a Dual Pistols/Martial Combat Sentinel, and even though he's only lvl 14, he's one of the most fun characters I have played. Its like he's a walking Hong Kong action movie, when I hit Ki Push, unleash a Storm Kick right as the KP sends them flying, then finish them off with a Dual Wield if the SK didn't do the job. The Ki Push looks straight up like the wire work that is used in a lot of Hong Kong movies, particularly the Wuxia genre films. Dual Wield is straight up John Woo, who directed several HK classics before making American films, and has had it several of those as well. Too bad I can't make a character that looks like Chow Yun-Fat in Hardboiled....
