Shhh you can't suggest that it's not just Council farmers that want to be able to kill things or the brigade will come for you.
-
Don't cut out the stuff I said that you can't lie your way out of and say it's extraneous blathering. You got caught proudly declaring you did something stupid and then when everyone called you out for doing that stupid thing you added conflicting information to your story. So you didn't tell your friends to spam votes on alt accounts. I can accept that you didn't intend to say that. Let's focus on what you absolutely did say. You said your friends didn't look repeatedly until people called that out for being shitty. You still spat in the face of the competition by getting people to vote without looking at ANY of the bases. Don't change your story. Your friends didn't look.
-
Tit-for-tat voting versus surprise 20 votes. A trickle of votes versus a deluge. One or two people looking at the bases per day and voting for one or the other makes sense.
-
It wasn't a campaign to vote. Did you not read the thread before you came to whine? Someone posted insinuating that they pinged some friends to dump a lot of votes on their base of preference right before the end. They implied there was use of alt accounts to pad the numbers. They confirmed that their friends did not look at the bases. They only voted for the base they were told to vote for. It spat in the spirit of the competition, and it was done so soon before the end of the voting that no one noticed until the morning.
-
No one noticed until the morning when people were awake to notice. No one said anything until people did say something. And then people admitted to fudging votes. You can't notice "during" when they are dumped at the last minute before the polls close.
-
There were not. And it's not a huge assumption if you know anything about DawL.
-
BIG BOLD is the context.
-
This. No one is happy, but the integrity of the rest of the contest isn't damaged.
-
No I see it. You told your friends to vote. You admitted they didn't visit or look at the bases. You admitted to (then backtracked on) having friends alt accounts vote. So you had your friends vote. Without VISITING. Not even once. And by the way, the emphasis is Dacy's not mine. That's the way the post is written.
-
Did you bother to read the first post? If your friends weren't interested in looking at the bases, they had no business voting.
-
That's not what you said. You said your friends voted for the base you told them to, and the results show, considering the 20 vote spike Vault Luxe got right before the end. You said multiple times your friends didn't look because they had no interest.
-
This was a base contest. Don't tell them to vote. Especially if they aren't going to look at the bases.

Darkness Manipulation is definitely not a port of Dark Miasma. There's like no overlap. It's dark melee/armor stuff modified to be a blaster secondary.

Didn't you already tell everyone you were no longer participating in the last discussion thread about this base contest? A contest is about competing. All of the builders represented spent weeks, months, and at this point even years working on the bases they submitted. You saying it’s all elitism diminishes the hard work and effort put into the bases. If you’ve spent weeks, months, years on your base and still feel like you can’t compete, then reach out and ask for help. Ask for advice. Figure out what they do that your base lacks. Most of us will help. Even after you’ve insulted us.

Good start! Let's insult everyone for having a different opinion. Did you know that there are people who play this game who don't like to feel weak, that don't just slam through PI radios? Did you know that there is nothing wrong with people who spam PI Radios? Do you realize that PI Radio spamming IS replay? That's what people are doing. That's replay value. It's just not the kind that you like. That doesn't make it invalid. Baskin Robbins doesn't keep flavors that no one buys. They don't leave flavors tasting terrible. They fix flavors that aren't good. If customers don't buy a flavor, they get rid of it and replace it with something better. Zect has spoken. Praise God.

It'd change the power set to suck less probably. But no one would be happier.

1) It wasn't just about you. You just provided a good example. 2) Your post. I don't know how to quote multiple times with cited sources. 🙃 3) It is your tone though, even if you don't mean it to be. When you post lengthy breakdown responses to everything people say in a thread, that's the tone you set. And you must be aware of it, because you jokingly call yourself the forum cop.

Currently, you can't use spectrum gloves and boots with asymmetry turned on, or with sleeves from shirts, jackets, or trench coats, Or with pants on, No spectrum legs with shorts or kilts. I'm probably missing some other options where spectrum isn't available.

Deleting all of your posts doesn't hide all the times your posts were quoted. Good try though.

Do you read what you say before you send it? Do you realize how all of this applies to you? My last post in the Storm thread was on page 7. You're the one who kept thumping your chest for 27 pages. Sorry it upsets you when people don't agree with you. You incited a lot of the arguments in that thread. You came in and acted like your opinion was correct and insulted the people who you disagreed with. The frustration you felt is your own fault for having the hubris to believe that you know better. Maybe 27 pages of disagreements isn't whining. Maybe it's 27 pages of legitimate opinions and your contribution is being a contrarian and pretending you're better than us and riling people up.

And yet it's always the same few cheer leaders who come in to these threads and talk like they are the/an authority on the subject. Even when they admit They don't have much experience with the things being discussed. And they don't seem to realize that Their opinions are also subjective. For example you may think That if one person plays the powerset that it's a success, but that's your subjective opinion. Mine is that if they are going to spend time and effort on things, they should strive to make sure those things are good and used for longer than the 2 week rush when it's novel. If they are going to put things up for testing then they should listen to feedback, and not just dig their heels in. And if the answer is always going to be "we already tested this, this is final" then why put it out for the whole player base to test? It only serves to frustrate the people that aren't alpha testers who try to help make things better.

Seismic Blast, Symphony Control, Sonic Manipulation, Sonic Assault, Earth Manipulation, Electric Affinity. How often do you see any of these? Earth manipulation sometimes. It's forgettable but not bad. Electric Affinity is the only one I ever see.

What sets have the devs made that are actually good and used after the initial surge of excitement? Of the sets the Homecoming team made, the only one I can think of that is actually used and not underbaked and undertuned is Electric Affinity. People point out these sets are bad when they hit the beta servers, but we're told the alpha testers know better and to just take what we're given. Just push out the sets then. Letting the general population "test" without any actual influence only serves to annoy people.

Look around for Ink. He's my water/dark blaster. What's wrong with Touch from Beyond? Is it having to use it as part of a rotation? Not trying to be contrary, I just never had an issue with it but I could be missing something.

Oops you're right!
