Yeah, I've not run into much trouble with my Rad tanks doing herding either.  It's when you're in the bowl and there are ten Magi spamming Stalagmites (mag 3 13sec 50ft radius AoE stun, -20% base def).  If you're a defense tank, you might dodge some or all of them and never sweat it.  But my Rads get hit with every one of those and that can stack up enough to overcome stun mez protection even on a tank.  We had a few occasions where the herding brought in enough stunners to drop 4-6 tanks at once.  I got into the red zone at least once before managing to swallow a break-free and hit my heal.  Part of the problem is even noticing I am stunned with all the audio/visual noise of a raid.

 

At least that happens on our TT raids.  On a public raid in the bowl there's typically enough overlapping force fields and other supports in the bowl you could probably go afk and never die.

Good fun on Excel tonight. We had an amazing turn out. I think we had five teams running (this gives me high hopes for the Hami in January). Welcome to all the new comers to TT some of which were newish to the game! Thank you to all the team leads tonight, MsA running missions, Ronin running Cit, Pep running Cit, and Holomatrix for taking the Posi teams. I think I was too busy tonight to get pics, but it was a glorious event.

 

11/14 we're on Torch. Meet in King's Row at 6PM PST/9PM EST. 

 

Aslo Jan 30th 2024 all Tanker Hami on Excel!

I was fortunate to get on Ronin's Citadel team and we finished in 1:02 (and in grand fashion).  Good times, for sure.

Missed this week due to work but I am also fine with a Rad/SS ITF.  I think I might need to pack on a few levels though.  Thought he was late 30s but is actually early 30s.

Three teams tonight on Torch, two Hess (actually one running, one unlocking and running), and one missions team. Thanks for leading the Hess "unlock and run" SB and thanks MsA for taking the other Hess.  The missions team ran AVs and radios, good fun, and Pali showed up for the beginning of the event, but was quickly "escorted" away by the Tanks.

11/18 we're back on Reunion, for our Saturday TT. Meeting in King's Row by IP gate at 9:30 AM PT for this event.  11/21 we're back on Everlasting. Meet in King's Row at 6PM PST/9PM EST.  Jan 30th 2024 all Tanker Hami on Excel!

No problem! I wouldn't call myself a speedrunner by any means, but I am good at pretending to be one! Hess unlock done in 11 minutes for an easy 13 merits. My 5-man team was full of tiny Tanks, so +2 was about as much I could push it on the Hess TF without it being a total slog, and that wrapped up in 45ish minutes.

For something different, the mission team did the Post Incarnate arc from Number Six in RWZ.

And we even ran into a (human?) Dr Hamidon before our January event.

 

We then faced down his Avatar...

The surviving residents of Praetoria were so happy they erected a hologram statue of some tank...

Happy to!  Also thanks to @Spaghetti Betty and @ZemX for zooming ahead and finding the objectives.  We finished in 1:03, with half the team (myself included) not being incarnates/full builds.  Not bad, IIDSSM.

Oh it's a joke.  It's just the joke is on Rad Armor Tankers.   Manti's TF is a lot more interesting these days, especially for RadA.   No built in Confuse resist.  No defense debuff resist for all those bullets and rad debuffs.  Then there's your primary means of damage mitigation, resistance, which can have 42% shaved off in a single unresistible Enervating Field from a +4 Rad PP Elite.  Fun!

 

At least RadA has the heal and an absorb shield to supplement resistance.  Also has good slow resist built in which is nice for running the hell away from those PP Elites until their stupid EF toggle drops.  I bravely ran away a few times last night. 🤪

Three teams tonight on Indom, Thanks for taking missions Xterra and MsA. I ran Citadel and Ronin took on Moonfire (thanks for leading). My SD/Rad made it to level 51 and unlocked his Alpha tonight, so  good night for me. Much fun was had and many Council dropped.

with this weeks wst events, being katie hannon, numia, and doc aeon,  any thoughts on what every one would want to run?,  will folks want to go red side for doc aeon?,  or stay hero side for the other 2 options?

since tanker runs seem to be kill most,   or  would folks prefer speed for badges?,  easy modes plus 1 or 2ish...verses hard core plus 4?

We usually favor at least a kill most style (as in, "everything between the front door and the target and maybe anything that looks at us funny along the way").  Usually at +1 or +2 at the most because we're not always running a team of level 50 incarnates and while Tanks aren't in much danger of dying we ARE usually in a lot of danger of taking all evening clear that many maps at +4x8.   We're not all proc'd out for max. damage, not naming any names... *cough* @Spaghetti Betty *cough*.

 

But we're flexible.  Sometimes if something is going to take forever we'll be willing to speed a bit.  The goal is usually to get through a task force within about the first hour and then, for those sticking around, to do some level 50 mission teams or another quick TF.
