temnix
Another quintet of my characters. Gildjvad Ichdetchech Spoiler Gildjvad Ichdetchech "Many civilizations in the Milky Way have sought to contribute to Earth's resistance to the Rikti and Shivans. At the behest of the Galactic Concubinium some of these joined a teleportation lottery called the Wheel of Duty, wherein any subscribed paladin may be called to serve on Earth for a span of time. Participation is voluntary and the computer-randomized selection not always convenient, but the institution comes with great honors. Gildjvad Ichdetchech (of the Rigel Ichdetcheches) is a seasoned bounty hunter who specializes in housekeeping robots. His capture of Death Toaster on the orbit of Sirius captured galactic headlines for minutes. Last Saturday he was elbows-deep in the grisly work of carving the CPU from a vacuum cleaner with over 700 smashed ankles on its conscience when the Wheel bracelet peeped and transported him in the vicinity of Jupiter in the Solar System. Not too happy about this change of career track, he will nonetheless do his best for the three months of the detail." Running; this sprint is usually on in addition to Ninja Run despite the extra Endurance cost. Leaping, Ninja Run on My highest-tech character Walking Back without auras from Negative Energy Armor Front. The effects use a light-colored Soul Noir. A comparison with them off... ...and on. One of the defenses lights up the eyes in an interesting way, which turned out to be an excellent match for this head. While working his detail Gildjvad is interested in the history of this city. Marsaille Spoiler Marsaille "A survivor of many things, including a 25th century Earth, devastated, defoliated and depopulated, ruled by warlords who call themselves Princes. Outside of their domains scavengers as dirty as they are vicious tear each other's throats out for junk from the mountainous scrap heaps, the highest of which is second only to Everest. Marsaille is a leader of one of these bands of Sherpas, or was until curiosity and a time rift engineered by Neutron landed her in Praetoria. Needless to say, even after a year of adaptation she still finds the place rather... different from her homeland. It does not help that she speaks a future English where vowels hv bn lmntd." 1n f m grtst scsss. Quality scrap. No two parts match except the bracers, which do. It would stretch disbelief and make the suit comical if she could never find any full set of equipment. What she has got is still the 25th century. Indoors. Up close. Note the piggy ears. Some mutation must have crept in. Almost everyone in her time is genetically damaged. The right side. Fighting, more precisely, fhtng. Fhtng 2. Praetorian tarmac. Call it bestial running, she calls it fast. She is actually quite short. Hey look, there are our reflections there! Over this city. Who knew, but she is capable of meditation in spots like these. Ogshverdi Spoiler Ogshverdi "It took her five years of part-time work, and no sooner did Tamara Ogshverdi receive her green card than a bad fall disrupted her prospects. She had just been included in a crew tasked with repairing power transmission in Kings Row, where the Clockwork had been the worst kind of vandals. As she switched on her welding torch fifty feet above the ground, the diabolical little wind-ups attacked again. A stray blast knocked down the pole she sat on and she ended up on the ground with a shattered left thigh, but wonderfully unnoticed and unburned. It was recruiters from the Council who found her and nurtured her to health. They needed a good welder on Striga. Once hale again, she escaped both them and their indoctrination, absconding with a few choice fire-making tools." A night portrait. Walking. Her fire is blue-green - it is all gas. Day: gloves and clothes. The Mesh pattern makes many things possible. "I started here, and it still isn't fixed." Doling out fire - enough for everybody. It's not raining men, it's raining plasma. Flight using some of the reactive power of her equipment. In Pocket D: a simple contrast. Is this a place for a working woman? Well... Strange... Laolaibevi Spoiler Laolaibevi "Enigmatic and aloof, Loaloibevi comes to the Rogue Isles from somewhere in Melanesia by way of the continental United States. It was quite a road trip. She claims to have no special attachment to villainy, the original plan being to offer her well-honed martial skills for hire somewhere in America as a bodyguard, athlete or trainer, yet her encounter with the Border Patrol and skirmishes with do-gooder heroes across the hinterlands soured her opinion of the law. In truth, she had never paid it much heed to begin with, preferring to take what she needed and leaving money behind. Now she has fought her way out of Paragon City's prison system, crossed the strait and sees few opportunities but in the employ of one of the criminal groups here - for the moment. Her incredible speed and reaction are native, most likely the result of a mutation." Laolaibevi is one of my characters who have "war clothes" and "civilian clothes." She is not concerned with hiding her body and wears the former for missions. It was not possible to achieve quite the same tone for her legs as for the torso, as an attentive look at the following picture will discern. Still, it is the best approximation to natural nakedness. Because these "civilized" people are prudish, she goes around the Isles, Kallisti Wharf here, Pocket D and other nice places in the other, more ordinary suit. Her masks also differ. War clothes. Face. It is difficult to make that out here, but besides the golden body paint her costume parts are not uniformly black. The right pauldron, for example, is midnight blue, and so is a part of the belt. The left shoulder piece uses some gray. At the risk of stating the obvious and repeating what I have said before, small differences in tint and asymmetries make a character more believable and alive. Also both costumes use some eye glow. The paint on the left leg is different from that on the right. Vaulting through the port. She is a Stalker, by the way. Kallisti Wharf, ever so quiet and empty like an afterlife. Civilian intro. Face 1. Face 2. Front entire. Back. Now as the setting sun is throwing long shadows, specially for you a card trick will be shown. You missed the card trick. In this vacant place here we go around the prickly pear. Around the prickly pear, around the prickly pear. We can also turn upside down and hang. It's a backflip. Welcome to the hotel Kallifornia. Thursday's child. Someone lights those windows. And with this I bid you farewell. Night has come. Just as you were about to decide that the civilian clothes are better than the war clothes, the other mask returns, and you are not so sure. And now she is going. Whoa Betide Spoiler Whoa Betide "Hey, it's Noah B. Tight, mate! Get that right. What did I win Rip Curl Pro two times for? But I kinda like how that sounds. Okay. So you're with Paragon Times? Fine, just get the facts right. I want to get my rep back. Now, how did this start? Well, I was in Newcastle last February, trying a new board for the Australian Board Riders, and just as I was riding a really great wave I saw those fishy blokes on the sand up ahead. The Coralax. They had their sticks down in the sand and were doing some kinda ritual. And before I could get off I crashed into them. Bang! The sticks flew everywhere. Since then I could do things with water and weather, too. Now get this straight: when I got wise to what I could do, I went to Surfing Australia and offered to create any kind of surf for them, anytime, wherever they want in the country, FREE. And what did they do? They disqualified me! They said someone with power over the waves and wind couldn't be allowed to compete in the sport! So I got mad. And yeah, well, I filled a few judges' lungs with water. And the bacon came after me. So here I am, in the Rogue Isles, and looking for good surfing spots while my lawyers are working double time." What I wouldn't give for a lifeguard's jacket! But I have to make do. "Here is the Superchamp. The one and only!" "I still surf everywhere." "Everywhere." "I'm not complaining about what I've got." "Hell yeah, power is great." "And I like to party in different places." "Come on! You know you want some of this." "So yeah, come party like there is no tomorrow!"
