One of my characters, "Heartbeat of America", is a cardiologist who gained electrical powers after a bizarre defibrillator accident. Love the concept and costume! But MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine), and MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) are all equivalent doctor degrees and no one person would ever have all 3. Most US doctors are MD, but some are DO - never both. MBBS credentials are issued in many non-US countries following UK medical education standards. A US doctor would never have that, unless they trained outside the US then came to the US to practice. And they would also never list themselves as "Dr [name] + {credentials]". As you have it listed, your character is Doctor Henry Ferguson, Doctor, Doctor, Doctor. 😄 It's either "Dr [name]" or "[name], [credentials]." If your character is from the UK, surgeons (like your cardiologist) revert from being called "Dr" back to being called "Mr" or "Ms." But if your character is from the US, and as a cardiologist, they most likely would be: Henry Ferguson, MD, FACC. Where FACC = Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Or Henry Ferguson, DO, FACC. Or just Dr. Henry Ferguson. ...I deal with a lot of doctors in my job, both US and international - can you tell?! lol 😄 😄 1

Carnifax Posted February 5 Posted February 5 So I ended up dumping the Storm / Marine I'd posted previously and replaced them. So introducing my newest 50, Waxwork : Fire / Marine Controller : Master of molten wax. Cossie itself is plain enough (spectrum coloured white with orange to give that "lava lamp" feel) but like the way the "Slime" Aura + Bubbles Path Aura + Hot feet + Toroidal Bubble come together to give a "pool of molten wax" feel. 7 3 My level 50 builds [Bullitt Time : DP/Kin Corruptor] [Carnifax : Ill/Dark Controller] [Kerriae : Plant/Storm Controller] [Echinoderm : Bio/Spines Tank] [Iron Brew : Mace/Rad Brute] [Snookered : Staff/NRG Brute] [iScream : Ice/Ice Scrapper] [Binman : Savage/Shield Stalker] [Modul-8 : Time/Sonic Defender] [Concussion Blast : Fire/NRG Domi] [Orblivion : Dark/Martial Domi] [Mombie : Necro/Nature MM] [Tempore : Water/Time Blaster] [Thermodynamic Flux : Ice/Fire Blaster] [Carni's Online CombatLog Parser Alpha]

This is so cool and a brilliant concept for the Fire/Marine pairing. I hadn't done Fire/Marine yet since it's a bit FOTM and I couldn't think of a good concept for it. 1 1 Global: @Valnara1; Discord Handle: @Valnara#0620 I primarily play on Everlasting, but you may occasionally find me on Indom. 🙂 Notable Characters: Apocolyptica - Demons/Storm MM; Lurking Monster - Human-Form WS; Environmentabot - Bots/Nature MM; Miss Fade - Ill/Traps Controller; Sister Apocalypse - Beast/Dark MM; Dr. Elaina Wrath - Plant/Rad Controller (Join the House of Wrath, and spread the word of science!); Ruff Ruff Boom - AR/Devices Blaster

Honestly I think I got lucky with the new Renaming Policy freeing up the name (maybe, maybe not : Got Carnifax on Everlasting recently too and that WAS taken previously). Once I'd nabbed that it made itself. 1 1 My level 50 builds [Bullitt Time : DP/Kin Corruptor] [Carnifax : Ill/Dark Controller] [Kerriae : Plant/Storm Controller] [Echinoderm : Bio/Spines Tank] [Iron Brew : Mace/Rad Brute] [Snookered : Staff/NRG Brute] [iScream : Ice/Ice Scrapper] [Binman : Savage/Shield Stalker] [Modul-8 : Time/Sonic Defender] [Concussion Blast : Fire/NRG Domi] [Orblivion : Dark/Martial Domi] [Mombie : Necro/Nature MM] [Tempore : Water/Time Blaster] [Thermodynamic Flux : Ice/Fire Blaster] [Carni's Online CombatLog Parser Alpha]

biostem Posted Friday at 07:34 AM Posted Friday at 07:34 AM (edited) Now, imagine if decades ago, when 8-bit video games were at the height of popularity, it had the inadvertent effect of signaling intelligent beings from an 8-bit universe. Curious, one such entity traveled to our universe, but soon found itself woefully inadequate. Over the years, it has constructed a proper body for itself, with its head being the original vessel, named "Cute 'em Up": For reference, this is the inspiration: Edited Friday at 09:40 PM by biostem 2 2
