Cossatot
IIrc, people would bring a dominator and put the heroes to sleep and then pick them off one by one. What magnitude of sleep is necessary to put one of those heroes to sleep? Is it the same magnitude for other mezzes and heroes/AVs?
DarknessEternal
Why would you want to do that? These days, they are quite easily fought all at once. Edited October 14, 2019 by DarknessEternal
Mikewho
I don’t recall the mag needed, just that you need domination active (ie permadom).
Redlynne
MAG 6 ... I think ... so double stacked Mass Hypnosis (with sufficient duration) from a Controller will do the job. Or maybe it was MAG 7-8? I forget ... but double stacked Mass Hypnosis from a Mind Controller can do it, if the power has been enhanced to increase duration and stack for extra MAG. It just takes a while to "get them all" because of the Accuracy penalties. Verbogeny is one of many pleasurettes afforded a creatific thinkerizer. Vanden
Archvillains have the same mez resistances as Bosses outside of the purple triangles, and the purple triangles don't protect against sleep, so I think mag 4 should do it. Dr Causality
An important detail still missing is what are their resistances? It's one thing to put them to sleep, but another to keep them slept long enough to do much to their friends... Hedgefund
I just used a power analyzer (like anyone can do) to see and the resistance to sleep was 0. In fact all mez resists were 0, triangles or no. Mag was 50 for non-sleeps with triangles up.
mbre2006
Quote As reported by Castle, the mez protection during the "triangles up" period is about 50 magnitude, and covers Hold, Knockback, Confuse, Repel, Disorient, and Terrorize effects, but does not cover Sleep nor Immobilize effects. Go sleep em kiddo. https://cityofheroes.fandom.com/wiki/Purple_Triangles Edited November 1, 2019 by mbre2006
