So Psionic Melee seems to be a mashup of 2 different ideas - hard light constructs like Green Lantern might create, and psi blades like Psylocke creates.  Why not allow someone to stick to all one theme or another?  The psi blade attacks could use an open-hand chopping animation, while the non-blade attacks could use a quick or upward thrust of the psi blade.  Your thoughts?  Thanks for reading!

I agree! It would be nice to have one or the other.

With fire melee, I did NOT take fire sword, simply cause it looked..silly. Having a small sword for one attack, with a huge one for another.

It's not the only culprit of mashing 2 ideas together. I still can't get over Wolves and Lions.... I mean really? Whoever made some of these sets had no concern for concept builders.

I really like psi blade animation, but can't fit the smashing fist into any concept ideas along with it, so being able to chose one of the other would be fantastic.

I'd love this for Psi and all the Elemental attacks too.

Stone Melee never pulls a random dirt sword out of nowhere, it's all stone fists and stomps.

I'd love it if on the Ice and Fire melee it could be all fists or all swords/clubs/etc.

I built my psi-melee stalker with only four attacks because I skipped the silly-looking tele-punches. It works, but I had to go all in for recharge in order to make that small attack chain workable.

Could also pick up the new FoW powers to add in some variety and range!

The cone is -wide- and applies debuffs and procs nicely.

There are some nice aura effects that, when set to their "combat" versions, cane make for a convincing power effect.
