53-67-57 Dom, Ice, Martial Assault (Awesome, but I did a Water/Martial last year)

19-91-65 Troller, Plant-Sonic, This SOUNDS really funky, weird and cool. Gonna run this. Will ponder a name and background and all that.

 

WANTED to call the toon Soundgarden, but not gonna walk the line there (and it would probably be taken). So, we'll go with Songarden.

I went ahead and made a crappy Perl script and had it spit out one from each AT

 

Blaster -> Seismic Blast - Atomic Manipulation
Brute -> Super Strength - Regeneration
Controller -> Mind Control - Electrical Affinity
Defender -> Storm Summoning - Water Blast
Dominator -> Mind Control - Arsenal Assault
Mastermind -> Necromancy - Poison
Scrapper -> Radiation Melee - Ninjitsu
Sentinal -> Archery - Stone Armor
Stalker -> Claws - Willpower
Tanker -> Invulnerability  (Jackpot Winner!!) - Psionic Melee

 

The Scrapper & Sentinal seem to have the most mismatched power sets.

Now that the tables are updated, I took a roll on the table without Epics

 

67-32-83: Scrapper, Energy Melee/Stone Armor 

 

Worth a shot.  Haven't touched Energy Melee since live, and never gave Stone Armor an honest try, lets see how it goes.

Did you ever think maybe we should delay the event a week or so?  The Mapserver is attacking again and it gives massive exp bonuses.

Without Epics

  1. 96 / 34 / 100 - Tank: Fiery Aura/War Mace
  2. 98 / 65 / 18 - Tank: Shield Defense/Dark Melee
  3. 81 / 65 / 61 - Sentinel: Psychic Blast/Ninjitsu

I've done all the sets in #1 and #2 (although not in those combinations), so I'll give #3 a shot.

So I admit, after trying it for a bit I'm opting against the Energy/Stone Scrapper.  Not because I think the combo is bad mind you but it doesn't "feel" like a Scrapper if that makes sense.  I think if I remade it as a Brute I might mesh with it better but to me Scrappers are more nimble and have finesse, which Stone Armor isn't this.

 

On the other hand, I had a few previous rolls I considered and after coming up with a concept, I'm going to try this one instead for it's paradoxical nature:

56-44-23 - Mastermind, Necromany/Empathy

 

Sounds crazy, worth a shot and I certainly could use more Mastermind experience.

96 54 84    widow night widow

 

Not excited about warbringer. Just finished getting my night widow to 50 about a month ago. I have a lot of stalkers, but not one with dark melee, or radiation armor. Guess that's the one!

My rolls were:

 

Dark/Super Reflexes Scrapper (50-16-91)

Electric Armor/Radiation Melee Tanker (67-24-62) 
Illusion/Electric Dominator (34-72-30)

 

Went with the scrapper since I realized I hadn't actually tried dark melee since live. It's not a combo I would've thought of myself, but I was able to come up with a concept pretty easily - shadow maul's animation + various life draining abilities = speedster fueled by stealing life energy.

 

...typing this out, I am now realizing I unintentionally made a vampire.
