Lifeblood2112
I recently did my own build which inadvertently differs from the extreme push to using Mu. It also has all but one spines power so does very well against bosses or higher. The numbers look very strong and superior to most builds I've seen posted. I'm posting my build without any incarnates for an easy comparison. Someone please critique this build before I spend big money slotting it. All comments welcome. I had 84 lev 50's back in the day with some very strong builds but back then my farmer was a fire/kin/stone troller. This time I went Spines/fire brute. There are various ways to post a build also so if you could direct me as to the ideal one I would appreciate that. http://www.cohplanner.com/mids/download.php?uc=1438&c=684&a=1368&f=HEX&dc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

I will take a look at other builds to see how they are gaining more recharge. Right now I'm doing 8/3 with bosses and EB on non io'd build but it's not easy or efficient. I have however, mastered my attack chains so like the idea of keeping more spines attacks. The resistence/def debuff makes kill a mob with bosses so much faster it even surprised me. Can't wait for better recharge on that also. Thx again.
Warlawk
I did a couple of respecs for updated builds today. The spines/fire build got an overhaul and has climbed back to top spot for inf/minute. The difference between rad and Spines is so close it's easily within variance for mob placement and RNG. I've updated the OP with the new inf earnings and the new build. I also did a respec on the rad/fire but it was a complete wash on effectiveness. It was clocking 2.19 mil inf/minute which again is well within the variance for RNG and mob placement. No updates to the OP on this since there was no appreciable change. Will probably focus on getting some more incarnates worked up for the Savage and SS so I can rerun their numbers from a more competitive spot in the coming week. RicoZaid
I made a level 50 Rad/Fire/Mu and it is amazing even though I am currently missing 4 expensive IO sets. I did one minor change, I replaced Vengeance with Mu Lighting and put a Decimation chance for build-up in the slot. 🙂
Avilister
I did too (rad/fire). Got the basic Degenerate Interface proc and noticed an immediate boost in kill speed. I still need sets for my two Mu powers and one more LOTG. Having some endurance issues though when I go full-bore. Does Ageless fix that? I note that your suggested build uses a Musculature in the alpha slot (though I found myself seriously considering Cardiac). I assume I shouldn't try to switch over to a no-xp-gain-all-inf setup until I finish slotting out my incarnate slots.
Warlawk
Will try to remember to do some testing on Degen interface soon. Endurance should stabilize a bit with T1-2 Ageless and be a complete non issue with T3-4. Yeah, I wouldn't go XP off until you're satisfied with your incarnates. You can change the setting any time you want though so if you need some cash fast for blow and hooke... groceries or something you can switch it then do more farming for vet XP later. 4 hours ago, RicoZaid said: I did one minor change, I replaced Vengeance with Mu Lighting and put a Decimation chance for build-up in the slot. 🙂 How complete is your build in regards to incarnates and such? I feel like this could be a great gain on a build that's still in progress but with a finished build and T4 musculature you ride so close to the damage cap much of the time that the BU proc would be wasted. You shouldn't need the accuracy and the damage would be overcapped. Just something to keep in mind as you perfect your build, pop that damage bonus attribute monitor up on screen and keep an eye on it. EDIT: Tested out Degenerative on the rad/fire and saw a jump from 2.19M inf/minute to 2.288 so it's an improvement for sure. The full methodology should be laid out in the beginning of the post under the "assumptions are made" section. This was done with herostats running from the time you zone into the first mission until you click exit on the last mission. No pit stops were made to restock reds. If you do things differently that's fine just note such in your post! You should post the build if you're willing! I consider myself a competent builder but I'm usually not an innovator or master by any means so I'm always on the lookout for builds to blatantly rip off ideas from that will inspire me with new ideas! 😁 Numpad binds for Masterminds - A collection of Farming focused builds - MM /Time guide for all primaries @Zen Warlawk on Indomitable, @Warlawk#1697 in discord. Enough S/L defense that a small luck gets me at 45% and a decent amount of S/L resist was my secondary goal after capped Fire defense and tons of recharge. Planning on dropping the 2 extra slots in Stamina and letting Ageless take care of my end issues and adding -resist procs to Ball Lightning and Atom Smasher. May swap the proc in Burn as well but not sure on that one. First working on getting more Emp merits to change around my Incarnate stuff a little. The buff pets are untouchable but the Banished one has rain of fire like attack which also has the benefit of drawing aggro so with him, your aggro buddy cop and yourself you can end up with some crazy large groups. Warlawk
I updated the OP with earning numbers for the more finished incarnate builds for both the SS and the Savage. I think the savage would likely pull ahead with more refined play than just a macro running but it's still rock solid. I have an Elec Melee/Fire that I PLd to 50 but I still need to buy all the IOs and get some incarnates going for him, just curious to see how it will compare. Warlawk
Added an update to the OP from @12thPower with some great info about changing up slotting to line up your burst cooldowns and get a free floating slot out of the deal! Great catch man, thanks for sharing! 1 Numpad binds for Masterminds - A collection of Farming focused builds - MM /Time guide for all primaries @Zen Warlawk on Indomitable, @Warlawk#1697 in discord. Giocondi
Lots of great information here, inspired me to start up a Rad/Fire brute over the weekend (Got her to 50 yesterday!). I had a questions about how you slot enhancements as a fresh 50. Obviously these builds are REALLY expensive with a lot of purple sets. Would you recommend just slotting the basic IO's and farming with that until you can flat out afford the purples or would you maybe look for cheaper IO sets to fill powers and then work towards purples? I mean I'm just thinking about how long it will actually take to farm for my build and whether or not I want to dump in countless hours to get a my farmer build strong, AND then farm countless hours to funnel influence to other characters. At the pinnacle of farming you can get get 5 purples and hour. So me being in nothing by basic IO's probably farm wayyy slow. I've been doing +3/8 with bosses and it's pretty slow. Do you have any intermediate type builds for the Rad/Fire brute that doesn't use purples. I figure if I can spend 60 million or so to increase my farm time to 80% of optimal, this would be a net gain overall (i'm lazy and not going to crunch numbers.) What did you do on your first farming character when you hit 50 regarding enhancements? I'd love maybe a section in the OP of budget builds for the most common builds. M3z has a video on spines fire and you could use his budget build showcased in the video for a start! Really appreciate this thread, thanks! Giocondi
Alright I took your Rad/Fire Build and replaced all the purple sets for folks that might want a less intimidating build. Still pricey for someone starting out but cheaper by probably half a billion. Resist is capped still and fire defense is <1% below cap at 44.2%. I'm willing to bet that with healing flames folks would still be able to farm without purples, but I'd have to play it to know for sure. If someone sees an easy way to make up that last little bit of defense go ahead and tweak and post the build! Thanks. http://www.cohplanner.com/mids/download.php?uc=1463&c=657&a=1314&f=HEX&dc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really don't know how to export the build to it looks beautiful like previous posts. This is actually part of the reason I wanted to start this post. There are lots of resources out there with people showcasing their budget build or their finished build but very little information actually documenting their results in hard figures and nothing comparing different builds directly. Personally, I started with the Spines/Fire and I did the occasional ticket farm while leveling to be able to buy the SOs I needed to keep myself going. I started with the budget build that was pinned in the HC discord at the time and moved up from there. I'm going to link to your post here with the build, it looks like a very solid budget version. I'll also add a few notes about the sets you've used to fill things in since they should be pretty universal and able to be ported between the builds fairly easily. Thank you for contributing! 1 hour ago, Giocondi said: EDIT: I really don't know how to export the build to it looks beautiful like previous posts.
