  1. Heh, I just accidentally found about the dragging thing myself. I wonder how long it's been that way?!?
  2. I simply opened the app, set to Dynamic and filed out all the powers (literally just clicked down the list until L50). They I simply hovered over the powers with it set to Powers/Slots and it shows you the level of the slot you're going to place. Hovering over say L49 will show you the standard L50 slots. Thus maxing out at 1+3 for that final power. This is Not what you were hoping for I assume.
  3. Because...You'll need this in your toolbox.
  4. Haven't been lurking for a while (playing B2 to catch-up before B3), but I like the cleaner Starting post. If people actually READ it, then things should go smoother. :p
  5. It's getting awful close to the Mid-January retirement date for Windows 7 and I was wondering what sort of things everybody had in mind? I'd already reserved drive images with Win10 of the systems I manage here at home, so there's no issue with actual costs, but even knowing the behind the scenes info I'm still kinda teetering between "do I bother?" or "should I just wait until I have an issue?" (namely, websites start complaining More than they do now). What are your thoughts and plans?
  6. I tried that out and didn't think that's what they wanted. :/ It still marks the slots based on the order/level placed when you do it. I wasn't sure what that affected, so I didn't point it out.
  7. If you find anything further, then I'd suggest finding the existing threads in the Tools (?) section of the forums.
  8. Not game specific, but it's already giving 3rd party utilities headaches because of all the underlining changes. That filesystem thing is voodoo.
  9. Pretty sure I've read this question on the forums this summer and Pretty sure the answer was No. Not sure if it was something they can change in its current form or not without a complete rebuild.
  10. That's why it's an evolving app. They need error reporting like this to Know that there's missing data.
  11. It's just a file with a template based on your costume and other bits, but there's things to consider like does someone Else have your name. I'm sure there's also other things in the background related to the migration that requires it to follow a submission process (as it's always been".
  12. One of my SG mates said she'd like to see things like Carrots and other foods for her animal themed Alts. ^.^
  13. I'd like to point this older post out as well.
  14. I forget the "reasons", but I'm pretty sure the groups are server tied. I'm just Really curious how often you're transferring across servers though as that sounds like a lot of hassle. Most of the people I interact with simply (manually) clone the groups on other servers or don't even bother (just join someone else's). Same with alts, but at least with alts you can import the costumes. IDK, I'm still stuck on the bouncing servers concept as it sounds more like a "Lone Wanderer/Drifter" sort of playstyle.
  15. Kinda-sorta-not exactly and it would take just as long anyway as you can't import the file.
  16. Of course, the more options, the better. ^.^
  17. There's a thread for Mac issues for reference. I've also read a thread today about the x64 ver of the game having little to no sound by one user. It'd be good to post your device info (not the SN) when troubleshooting a Mac as it'll help those more in the know (not yet me) about these things.
  18. When are they "resetting"? What is changing? Some settings are stored in the files while others in the registry. It never does seem to back them All up in a single save for the general game settings either. Additionally, if you're never able to keep settings, then you've probably not installed it in a safe spot. It is best to install the game to something like C:\Games\COH. Not something like your Downloads, Documents, or Desktop folders as Windows has some funky permissions issues with them because they're all inside the C:\Users\UserName folder. Checkout the install guide for good examples and visuals.
  19. On the off chance...search for the "playerslot.txt" file in your account's folder within the game folder. C:\Games\COX\Tequila\wanderingaries\playerslot.txt Delete the file and restart the game. Mind you, it'll forget the order your alts are in if you do this, so you could make a copy elsewhere just in case.
  20. The thing is though, Because it's free, there are people out there GIVING away Inf. Hell, I was joking (when am I not?) and was given funds (not a small amount) that I "needed" to get some fun stuff for my alts. Don't go begging, but there are ways to get it like CC, etc.
  21. And a damned good way to get the game shut down...
  22. Options -> Revalidate Oh wait, you're saying it's crashing Tequila when IT opens, not the game. Yeah, let us know what your AV is.
  23. And when you Do that, do it for the Whole folder you've installed it to just in case: C:\Games\COH
  24. Don't have the issue, but what'd you do to solve?
  25. Could we maybe have a wiki like page offline that we can match names to so that the search function can be used? While we're at it...I can't read the damned text on the tabs at all. I can barely read what the item is and often am flying blind while building. Considering I'm running 1080p on a 40" TV, then I wouldn't have thought this to be an issue. Nothing is scaled differently.
