Didn't we used to be able to Choose which GPU to use for the PhysiX? I vaguely recall being able to set either my NVidia or my APU (i7) as the default PhysiX card. Unless that was something the 2010-2012 Nvidia/Win7 drivers allowed...IDK, I'm still using the same configuration I had back then, so I suppose I Could go driver poking. Oh that's right, I disabled my APU in the UEFI I think...I'll go looking later (If I think about it) as I'm doing a last ditch partition recovery for someone right now and can't reboot.

Previously, Mods have suggested throwing that URL in your browser and see if you Still get some sort of error. I don't recall what it means if you Do(n't), but that's a good next step to post the results on in the meantime.

What did the BSOD say? What hardware are you running? Laptop, desktop, self built, etc Specific interval crashes could be memory or temperature related

Doesn't it popup with the name when you hover over the letters? I know "I" can't read them either, but I also don't like wearing my reading glasses as well as playing 8' from my (TV) screen. :p

It was suggested in another like thread that you could use the get global command on that server and ask if they were willing to let the name go if you were Really attached to it, but otherwise do what we always do and get creative!

Fair enough, the output felt like it was more directional positioning than location data at first glance. I guess I didn't see how the two would directly relate. And I do play in 3rd person, so that would come in to play I suppose.

I'm shocked nobody's said anything, but I've toured bases that have like 10 stories high, so I know it can be done without TP. I'd look into one of the threads that talks about building multi-level structures or "outdoor" structures. KOIS has some really cool/elaborate ones.

This, it's Much easier to simply look at the list of items as (I believe) you can click on each one and it'll highlight it on the screen.

I really don't PvP and even I'll take a hard "No" to this as it changes the dynamic of the gameplay overall. You've basically turned it into a powers based cage match.

Changing trays is extremely valuable for a multiform alt. Yes, it's Very time consuming at first to set it up or if you end up doing a Respec (screenshots and bind files are your friend!), but extremely helpful in practice. I don't think I ever got around to it (had just barely played my V/EATs but sunset), but I know the First thing I did was bookmark everything about it! I still have to redo that now, but it's not so bad Yet because I'm playing a "pure Human" build right now. Well, except for the travel power, but still.

I think it came about before the Vidiots map overlays, but helps a lot when trying to locate something specific like a hidden badge location or monster.

That hardware's a gen up from mine, but not that different. I think I had that one day and ended up just changing the settings once the game loaded. I'd suggest you delete the registry entry for Cryptic/COH and then try restarting the game. Also, try the Safe Mode first just to make sure it loads at all.

I don't see any posts related to your problem(s). What's going on that makes you want to do this?

TBH, I played some GW/WoW before CoX, but realized quickly that something felt right, but mostly off. I'm not ubber into supes (beyond the long running movies since), but CoX just seemed to fit all around when I found it. After sunset I tried some of those again and even looked forward to Rift (?), but after a couple hours of each I made it a hard no. Part of the reason was the damned squares all over the screen! The UI, as simple as it is, in CoX seems to work best for me. Would I like to play a CoX skinned/adjusted to be like my Other/console games? Probably not as they are really best enjoyed (by me that is) as a single player experience. While we might be able to improve say Fallout 76. It'd be too noisy of an environment for things like TLoU, Uncharted, or TR.

Where Exactly is the game installed to? There are a slew of parent folders that windows will protect and auto-label their child folders as read only.

Because they thought that they were done with CoX and some people don't like leaving their creations all alone? It's a thing...
