  1. Currently, we have the following options for power trays: ( 2x6, 3x4, 4x3, 6x2, full horizontal (10), and full vertical (10) ). I usually try to group my powers by function into particular trays, for example in the bottom tray I usually stick travel powers and toggles. On certain characters, 10 slots just aren't enough. On those, I have a ton of toggles and those in combination with travel powers exceed 10 slots. Suggestion: Add options for 12 slot trays, but keep the 10 slot option for my characters that don't need it.
  2. I usually put those on the AH first, so I don't have to worry about it. I just want an easy way to blow through the remaining junk recipes - I will try the right click method next time.
  3. A minor bug, but somewhat annoying.... After doing a farm or a number of missions, I usually have quite a collection of recipes to sell, many of which sell for very little on the AH. When selling a stack of the same recipe to a vendor, I've noticed that selling too fast results in the focus being taken off the list, which slows down the process of selling everything. I have to slow down to a crawl on the last couple of items in the stack to maintain focus on the enhancement list and allow it to progress to the next item or to the next stack. I haven't seen this same bug when selling a lot of enhancements - of course that might be because they don't stack. I would much appreciate it if this could be fixed.
  4. Played it for a few months after it first came out, got a character to max level, and that was enough. As someone who played and enjoyed GW1, I was very disappointed. The game play was modeled after something like WoW vs the original game. The graphics were a bit underwhelming after all the hype, and beyond that there wasn't much to keep me around.
  5. I don't have much experience with Illusion outside of my Illusion/Storm, so cant really speak to the effectiveness of other combinations. Ill/Storm is fun if you enjoy chaos and definitely is effective both solo and on teams. I've been running a lot of all controller teams and have seen a lot of illusion variations played - I would say Illusion/Rad is probably the most prevalent so far.
  6. The plans seem to revolve around nerfing/buffing power sets and on systems... just hope they eventually get around to adding content, and soon. I already had one relative that I suggested the game to quit due to boredom.... not everyone in the world thinks "rolling another alt" is all that fun.
  7. I saw that you added some mid 30s content for issue 27, but we seriously need more content for our max level characters going forward. My suggestion is to perhaps extend the Croatoa content for level 50s, and answer the Mayor's question: What DID happen to the male Cabal members? I never felt that the Redcaps were appropriate top level bad guys for that zone, that someone else was behind the scenes pulling the strings. I always wanted to do an AE arc to answer that question, but the AE system is just so limiting - be nice if something could be developed for the game itself.
  8. Round 4!!!! Decided to pull my Illusion/Storm out of mothballs for this run to go along with all the other illusion trollers. :) Group composition was: Illusion/Storm ( my character ) Earth/Storm Illusion/Dark Illusion/Rad x2 Dark/Dark Ice/Nature .... and we took along one Fire/Fire dominator :) Awesome run, ran pretty smooth. Great team guys, thanks! I may have to try something different next time, maybe a Lambda itrial, or maybe some other TF. Anyone have any suggestions?

  10. Please dont scrap the enterbasefrompasscode command. Easy movement from zone to zone is a great thing, and I'd hate to lose it.
  11. I think one of the strengths of CoH is that it caters to players with altitis. I've played other MMOs that constantly increase the max level with new releases, and it pretty much kills any desire to have more than 1 or 2 characters. Just too much of a pain to keep many characters at max level with associated "gear", etc. ( or enchantments/incarnate powers in CoH ) So, my vote would be no to increasing the level cap.

  14. Understood, but I was thinking more along the lines of something cool that would actually get some players in the red side zones. Just played a redside brute to level 50, and it felt pretty much like a ghost town all the way.
  15. I wish we could take this one step further and allow full access to both red and blue side zones to everyone. Have new rogue and heroic contacts in the Rogue Isles, and have new Rogue and Villain contacts in Paragon.
  16. Ok, so short version - you dont like the p2w versions since you think it cheapens the "real" version to irrelevance. Therefore, rather than not choosing said powers for your own builds, you'd rather take that option away from everyone or at the very least leave it with the unpleasant/un-thematic versions that we have now, so people avoid them. I don't agree for several reasons: 1. Slotting is very relevant - you can slot for knockback vs speed, for example - which I have done on some builds. There is zero probability I would change those builds for something like this. 2. I consider travel to be as relevant to most characters as fitness. The Devs finally chose to give fitness to everyone. I think the ultimate solution would be to make an inherent flight ability, just like fitness, and fully customizable. The new p2w graphical option, however, would take less development time. 3. The idea that I "have to give up something" just to have flight. You're entitled to that opinion, but I definitely disagree.

Kind of surprised that this thread is still going on, but I'm kind of curious how you think a purely cosmetic change ( to something that already exists ) would undermine how travel powers are set up? I already use temp flight powers on many of my toons. Please explain how an alternate graphic option would make them any difference in terms of balance? It is no different than the minimal setting on many powers - it's cosmetic.
  18. I dont think you can really get a true feel of any troller until you get the character well into the 30s. Most of them feel plodding until you get the "core" power, whether it be the pets or whatever.

  20. We had quite a few incarnates but I didn't count them, and we did run it at +4.
  21. I did an all troller ITF yesterday, so thought it would be interesting to do a defender/corrupter one. Incredible how quickly things melt with this kind of team. We ended up with the following: Nature Affinity/Ice - Defender (me) Sonic/Time - Corrupter Rad/Thermal - Corrupter Rad/Rad - Defender Fire/Thermal - Corrupter Cold/Beam - Defender Water/Dark - Corrupter Fire/Kin - Corrupter More corrupters than 'fenders, but I'm not complaining - a 42 minute kill most is nothing to sneeze at.   22. If you're going ice, make sure you pick a secondary with damage. I have an Ice/Cold, which is ok in groups... but solo is not fun at all, way too slow in the dps department.
  23. I've always loved forming themed ITFs back on live and decided to do an all-troller team today. Thanks to everyone who joined, you guys rocked! We ended up with the following powerset combinations: Plant/Storms x2 Ice/Storm Illusion/Rad Illusion/Kin Plant/Rad Illusion/Dark Illusion/Poison A few screenshots attached showing the chaos.... pretty sure Rom was in there somewhere :) Going to have to do an all defender one sometime, not sure if I have the guts to do an all blaster though.
  24. I have a couple of characters where, after the fact, I realized the origin doesn't really match up with the powersets I picked. So yeah, I could see value in this. But it would introduce an issue with what to do with slotted enhancements that do not match the new origin - could be a can of worms the Devs wouldn't want to open.
  25. Thank you for the change to the character list. That was always a pain to wait that long, especially when you have as many alts as I have.
