Of all the issues in this game, and it's not really an issue imo, I'd have to rate this down near the bottom. Just find some other spot to conduct your business.
There are two melee attacks in fiery assault, "Fire Sword" and "Fire Sword Circle", which are great melee attacks but
which don't really mesh with my character concept. I'd prefer something that appears to be just a fire attack vs
using an actual weapon.
Suggestion:
Add an alternative look for the attacks. Leave the animation and fire effects as-is. Just make the sword invisible.
I'd be interested in a build as well. Searching through seven pages of search results in this thread, I've seen every other combination.... can you share the link?
I'm almost to 50 with my Ill/Storm. The biggest issue I'm running into is the massive endurance usage, probably going to have to go Cardiac in the incarnate to overcome it.
I wish they'd take this to the next level, and just lets us customize the pets as we desire them. You've already shown proof of concept that they can exist based on another costume.
Just started a new Ill/Storm troller, and haven't seen a lot of info out there on this particular combination, other than it is focused more on dps and mass chaos
rather than controlling - which I'm fine with. I tend to focus more on my character concept when choosing power sets more than anything.
Does anyone have a good end game build which can function well in iTrials and Task forces, as well as normal content?
I guess I'm looking for something with high recharge, plenty of procs on the storm secondary, and good survivability.
Thanks!
Yeah, I remember what the double whammy of GDN and ED did to my Inv/SS tanker.
I could no longer fully slot out my primary powers.
Their response: "Slot them with different types"
Users: Resist and Defense powers only take one type.
Them: .....
Couple that with my attacks, which already hit like a wet noodle fully slotted with reds .... now hit like whatever hits less than a wet noodle.
I quit for over a year after that fiasco. Never did really get back into my tanker, even with IO sets.
Jack Emmert had an amazing ability of alienating almost all of his player base.
He made a lot of mistakes, which were compounded by not listening to ( or caring about) any feedback.
Thanks for letting me join the team tonight with my Nature defender, Flora Frost. Had a great time running the TF with Irresponsible Creeper, Power Plant, Smilax, Growll, Termite, Neo Orb, and Fiona Flora. We all had a grand time beating up many, many, many, many, Council. :)
A few screen shots:
Looks like a good overall build, but how does it do in a farm with low fire defense? A lot of attacks in the farms are ranged, so the melee defense wouldn't help there...
I'm leveling up a new tanker in anticipation of the upcoming changes. I realize it probably won't be as fast as my 2 brute farmers, but thought
it might be fun to run occasionally just for a change of pace.
Just curious if anyone has a good farm build planned out already? I'm looking for a high end build, so cost is not an impediment.
Thanks.
I could see value in something like this when soloing, for example to measure how my farmer is doing in an AE mission in terms of dps.
On teams, not so much, since there are so many variables depending on team composition, buffs, etc.
1. Family ( would probably be a cross between Mercs and Thugs as far as powers )
2. Carnies ( Psychic, Flame, and Melee powers )
3. Cabal ( mostly ranged electric )
I've also been thinking of making a Merc MM, but not sure which secondary. OP narrowed it to just two, but out of all secondaries
which would you say is best overall for keeping self and pets survivable?
