  1. Yep. Targeted AoE procs are very very good in Creepers. You want all 3. Final slot is a toss up between a Dam IO or Trap of the Hunter proc. Avoid the KB and Slow procs. They don't trigger enough to be worth it.
  2. I'll usually run a DFB anyway if they're going. After that I'll typically PL myself using the alt account to 18 and do Posi 1 and 2 from there. Then typically missions / tips / PuGs / SG stuff with friends. Arc wise I'll try and do some but they're very easy to quickly outlevel.
  3. I've done Elec / Poison / Earth to 50. It's a funny one. No one huge control, more layering lots of controls on top of one another. Definitely wouldn't solo it but if you're teaming with mates (like I did a bit with it) it can be fun. I've rerigged my build slightly here for you. Damage is meh outside the Epics so maybe you want something with Arcane Bolt fitted in instead. I've tested Procs in Jolted Chain and came to the conclusion that sadly they're pretty meh in there. Definitely not a top-tier controller but entertaining enough. Be aware that the Gremlins are as thick as Imps, if not more so. Controller - Elec Control - Poison New.mbd
  4. Oh okay. Weirdly it doesnt seem to record them (or the procs) in the logs
  5. Update after ~40 levels. Enjoying this build immensely as a replacement for Ice/Bio (who has been gutted for IOs). Far less secondary clicking required and nice and tough. Did some Log Parsing as I do and found some interesting things. Brimstone "proc" is about the same in terms of overall damage as my Ice Sword (which I use regularly). Brimstone doesn't ever seem to recharge Build Up via Assassins Mark, which seems right. Looks like the check is tied to ToHit rolls and Brimstone doesn't make them Frozen Aura is, for some reason, Autohit (??). Logs support this and it has to be a bug right? I can't think of a single other PBAoE which is autohit (apologies to any Ice Stalkers out there who are like "Noooo. We knew but didn't want it getting out!"). For the moment this is your "Stupid Paragon Protector Elude" killer. End woes were as bad as ye predicted so I've ripped things out of Build Up and redistributed to giving extra slots to Stamina, Health (for a Numina) and Crystal Armour (for another Performance Shifter) Is there anything I can lob into Geode to also help recovery, assuming I never / rarely use the thing (it really is a crap Hibernate. Lots of the time it just immediately bursts, especially solo). Happy to move Panacea there if it'll just chug away but not certain how it'd work (I know Miracle & Numina would be "it'll work for 2 mins after you trigger the power" which is fiddly).
  6. So I've the 3 targeted AoE damage procs, trap of the hunter proc and then two Acc/Dam/Recharge IOs in there. "Creepers" is actually an invisible pet who follows you around and creates vines against living enemies and "tangle patches" (think small AoE explosions) against corpses near it. There's also a graphical patch when you 1st drop it but I think that's display only. The vines do damage & slow with their attacks (so all 4 procs have a chance to trigger per vine attack) and the patches do damage (so the targeted AoE procs get a chance to go off).
  7. There is. Creepers be crazy. This is the parsed results from me running Lacewing on a Crey Tips mission +4x8 (well most of a Tips mission, a load of Arachnoids showed up and did me over) and running the saved Combat Logs through my parser on https://www.carnifax.org You can open it yourself at https://www.carnifax.org/?uuid=2ea0216e-c954-434e-ac11-178929d64918 and pick the 22:17 entry
  8. Creepers slotting for me is still a off ? You aren't building for Defense anyway so I'd dump the Winters altogether and go the Proc route. It makes a huge difference. Of the 4 procs I have the Trap of the Hunter is the one to drop if you like (I frankenslot with 2 Acc/Dam/Recharge then procs but you could replace Trap of the Hunter with the Bombardment Dam IO)
  9. Wait, storm kick is AoE on Tanks? When did that happen? Is it just Punchvoke confusing things? Edit: oh no, I see from the tooltip. That means i t GRANTS AoE defense. I knew that. On my Tank the answer was Rad. Proccing up Radiation Therapy and Ground Zero gave me good "alpha aoe" then Dragon Tail in fights with a forced feedback.
  10. It's not too bad, solo you have time to set up your little death spots and Trip Mine is actually pretty End efficient if you're TPing everything in. Just ran it through a radio mission in PI and wasn't really ever gasping for End. I do have an extra slot in Health for both Panacea and Miracle uniques. Plus you have the solo Insp drop rate in your favour. Honestly I wouldn't recommend Enflame hugely anyway. It's not amazing damage for the effort. So for saner people I'd advocate dropping it for something else. But "Dumpster fire Jack" is part of my build now and I've an attachment to it. Sorcery for Arcane Bolt makes a huge amount of sense for Ice. Enflame was me going all-in on concept (part of which was "lots of this build is going to be pool powers").
  11. Solo? Ice / Traps / Earth with Sorcery and Fold Space. Solo to the beat of your own drum. I've a junkbot I got to 50, mostly solo. Cobbled together from Clockwork and Nemesis parts. Recoloured so he looks like a "Pollution / Traps" controller. Ice patch is more "oily sludge", Arctic Air is a miasma of smog etc. His "traps" are bits of him which fall off mid-combat and explode. Set Jack on fire with Enflame, maybe plant a Trip Mine & Poison Trap, Fold Space, drop Ice Patch and then just whale on them with the Earth epics, hold + Arcane bolt.
  12. On Plant the AoE Immob is there to stop the Tank weeping when the confused Group scatter to the four winds chasing each other (added to by the Fear/Avoid from Freezing Rain and Tornado).
  13. Can't help with Storm Blast but you might reuse the two I have for Storm Summoning which are "dump Freezing Rain or Tornado onto the target" /macro FR "powexec_location target Freezing Rain" /macro TO "powexec_location target Tornado" Gives you two buttons and when you click them the power is automatically cast at your target (rather than needing to manually place). I keep them on Tray 1 with Tray 2 immediately above showing the native version (for when you want to place manually)
  14. Agree with @Onlyasandwich. Hurricane is an occasional-use tool but it's handy when you need it. Here's my version, which is more of an "eggshell Defense" build using the Ice Mastery epic (I like the Roots / Freezing Rain / Ice Storm combo personally). Less solo, more team based although I happily solo +3x8 so long as they don't have ToHit buffs (egg shell defense builds get eaten alive by Nemesis for example once the Lieuts start dropping). But for the most part power choices and slottings in key powers are very similar. Lacewing Plant - Storm_2024.mbd
  15. Lightning Storm is an Endurance pig. That + tornado is 50 End on their own (30 for LS, 20 for tornado). So definitely getting some end reduction into those if youre set-slotting them.
  16. Seconding Planet / Storm. It's a beast. End can be an issue but since you're so pseudopet heavy you can throw them out then Hibernate up and the chaos party will happily continue.
  17. DoTs don't have any special interaction with scourge. Well Darks don't. They only have one initial ToHit check and one test to Scourge. The whole thing hits and scourges or none of it does. "Rains" (which Dark doesn't have) roll ToHit for each "drop" of rain. So those repeatedly test for Scourge and there a benefit there because as HP drops the chance for a rain drop to Scourge increases. So rains get more scourges over time. So Rain of Fire, Ice Storm, Blizzard and Whirlpool are Scourge friendly. Standard DoTs don't have any Scourge friendly extra interactions compared to normal attacks.
  18. This is mine, kinda more standard "Get maxxed out resists, some Def and improve some powers with procs". This is my "if I could be arsed to respec" build since you can now skip Thunder Kick (and I hadn't realised Eagles Claw gives a Dam buff). Tanker - Radiation Armor - MA_hybrid.mbd
  19. Dual Pistols / Kin is one of my favourite characters. Mine is fairly expensive but has capped Melee and Ranged defenses along with 73 (close to cap) Smashing & lethal resists. Because you get the awesomeness of Fulcrum Shift you can underslot some powers with damage because Fulc Shift will cap you anyway. DP works well with Kin and Dark Mastery lets you take two more PBAoEs (with benefits) plus the Smashing / Lethal resist shield. You can run in, Fulc Shift, do crazy nuke-gun-dance and then finish them off with Bullet Rain, Soul Drain or Dark Consumption. Fire does do more damage but DP looks cool. BulletTime_Final_respecced.mbd
  20. I've done 2 Staff chars : Brute Staff / NRG and Stalker Staff / Inv. I would say the Stalker version of staff is probably the best, Innocuous Strikes dropped for Assassins Poke is great (bit like Ice, one of the meh attacks is replaced by AS). For what it's worth I've attached both. Pretty much like yours, try and get Sky Splitter as proccy as possible as your boss killer. Brute build is from 2020 so isn't amazing. Also I believe they've improved the handling of redraw which was a bit of a pain / annoyance on my Staff brute who did use Epic attacks. I know you said you didn't want Epics but most of your damage being smashing can be disheartening. I prefer Guarded to innocuous generally, but you're capped for Lethal anyway so maybe not. Guarded "feels" like it hits more enemies but looking at the stats the cone & range are the same so that's probably perception bias / animation preferences. Attack wise I think you want both the tier 1 and tier 2 attacks to have a full attack chain and to build up the Perfection quickly. Personally I found the two basic attacks nice on both chars because the animations are snappy. I've found the flow better when using them as quick 1-2s followed by a cone and then Perfection Sky Splitter or Eye of the Storm. Snookered - Brute (Staff Fighting).mbd Stalker Staff Inv NoWinters.mbd
  21. Weirdly, no. But you're right, that's where I nicked it from for my DP/ Kin. Seemed apt although he looks more like Paul Newman playing a villainous Victorian slum landlord.
  22. The only time I have is with Modul-8, my Time / Sonic Troll DJ / 90s raver. But that's a deliberate throwback / homage to 90s UK Rave bands like Altern-8. Weirdly the only time I got stick for it was when I moved him to Everlasting for a bit. Someone gave out to me for the "leet speak name" (even though it predates leet by 15 years or so) Kids these days. No appreciation for classical music.
  23. Grav / TA was my Live "Everyone says the sets are meh but I disagree" build. The Homecoming version is excellent. Ice / Traps with is surprisingly fun, but on fast teams you can feel a little left behind. I've a bit of a loopy build which is Ice / Traps / Earth with Fold Space and Enflame (which goes on Jack but isn't amazing, it's first for the chopping block if I respec) but is missing Shiver / Cold Snap. If I was going Fire I think I'd opt for Fire / Nature. Gets the Hotfeet + a Hold aura combo and you can buff up your insane fire munkies.
  24. Thanks folks. Lots of good feedback. Spotted that the 5 slots in Build Up weren't actually doing that much (1.25% Typed def across the board) and realised the figures were slightly inflated by Hide so working on moving those slots about. Figured out the Build Export, for some reason it only works if "Dark Themes" radio button is selected, then a Color Theme shows. Stalker - Ice - Stone.mbd
  25. And we're back in the game. Sorry about that. Had to wait for AWS to move the email address associated with the account before I could get back in. Michiyo also now has a copy of the codebase so they'll be deploying an alternative version from that to give some redundancy (thanks Michiyo!).
