  1. Replace Bitter Freeze Ray with Freeze Ray, the DPA is much better thanks to a 1s cast time compared to 2.5 seconds. Bitter Ice Blast and Freeze Ray are the top single target powers in Ice in terms of DPA, BFR is a trap.
  2. Lots of masterminds don't seem to understand this I've noticed recently. Twas the way back when Redside went live, we were all non-IOed lowbies so Minions ate the alpha, Brute and Domis would then control the aggro. Usually you've someone happy to take the alpha and it's fine but I've been on teams where we're all squishy and we're all looking at each other thinking "So who is jumping in 1st", including a swarm of bots / thugs / zombies. Send in the clowns non-clown minions. Hell just send one (I had a specific ctrl-click bind to send one unlucky Zombie to a specific position for this purpose, then I'd raise a ghostie from him).
  3. God I love that room. But I temper my approach according to what I'm playing and who I'm with. But just going ham in there is so much fun. If I'm a well built mid 30s and with folk I know I'm zerging it.
  4. This is me too. I'll look over the Last 5 prices and stick a price lower than most but higher than anything that looks like a lowball fulfilling. Some stuff (LOTG) is reasonably static and I'm happy with 4,600,000 or more (usually it'll end up going for 5-6). Other stuff like Kinetic Combats and Reactive Defences can vary by a lot. I've seen them go for 1.5 million or 4 million. Literally today I just insta-sold a Numina unique for 7.77 million. Meanwhile the other 2 I crafted are sitting at 2.8 mill when I logged off before the downtime. Market be cray cray.
  5. Correct. Any pet which explodes and doesn't leave a pseudopet behind won't trigger procs. So Seekers & Trip Mine : nope Poison Gas Trap : Hell yes
  6. Most of my sig contains builds I rarely play. Although some like the Fire / Nature Corruptor get dragged out for specific TFs (Fire / Nature is my Tinplex specialist). This is why all my builds have a cheap / midranged price build (which I build as I go from 22 up) and then a final build with purples & winters and stuff. Fairly rare that a 50 gets the Purps + Winters upgrade, although I admitted an Ice/Stone stalker to that roster a few weeks ago. Most of the time I'll rejig them slightly, maybe add 1-2 purples and upgrade their ATOs and they're good.
  7. Market Crash is a good shout. Hit 50 and get a purple apiece for finishing it. (I was going to recommend Mendar Silos arc until I reread the OP, the last of those is really epic). Or something like the Ms Lib TF? Can't get more epic than beating the snot out of Recluse.
  8. We'd a ridiculous Reunion "Beat a +4 Kill Most ITF in 41 mins with a PuG" run about a week ago spawned from some guy trash talking on LFG. I was the Kin on that one, I'd just logged on to craft some stuff but once I saw that guy spouting things like "It'll take you an hour to get through the 2nd mission alone" and was like "Right then, crafting you can wait. I want in on that." That was an immense run. No tactics at all other than kill. Didn't even bother moving Rommie to his traditional spot by the door, just murdered him in the courtyard. -Resist + a Kin is silly. -80 resists means +80% of the FINAL damage figure. So with a Kin doubling everyone's damage you're nearly doubling it again. 100 base damage (normally about 195 when slotted up) becomes 400 (or more depending on damage buff cap) with Kinetics. -80 resist adds another 320 damage to that. 720 damage in total. Lunacy! It's why all Support teams are so loopy.
  9. It can be a little erratic still. Ran this Sunday with my Rad / Martial Tank and once I was handed this maybe 1/10 times I was in a bubble my stats still dropped like a rock. 90% of the time it was perfect. So yes it mostly works but always good to keep an eye on your monitored stats just in case it decides not to and you need to retreat a little. The EBs which drop the debuff bubbles (Neutral something or other) should be treated like Nemesis Lieuts, try and drop them last if you can. You can be murdered very quickly if you get stuck in one (I took 1935 damage from an attack at one point).
  10. Yep, Posi 1&2 CoT shouldn't have changed at all. Ruins were always dicks. It's the combo of multiple Quicksands and multiple Earthquakes piling on loads of -Def and -ToHit. You need to get out of the death patches asap, especially if there's more than one Ruin Mage.
  11. Hmmm, been to the website (https://midsreborn.com), downloaded the file, reinstalled but still version 2.6.6. Also tried uninstalling, reinstalling. Still the same. I'm confused??
  12. How'd you update your Mids? I keep asking mine if there are updates and it's saying nope.
  13. Build looks good in terms of slotting but you aren't taking powers as early as you can. Remember you can take Prince at 22 now, Empowerment at 26 and Overgrowth at 30 (and Entangling at 28 but it's up to you when you take it). So I'd rearrange your powers into something like this order from 22 on I'd also consider changing the slotting of Overgrowth to just 2 50+5 recharge IOs, move the spare slot to Spore Cloud and 4 slotting with Dark Watchers for more recharge. You want Overgrowth up as much as possible. Your recharge numbers are being skewed by the Forced Feedback being on in Lash. With FF off it's 60 seconds up, 51 seconds down. With recharge maxed out its 60 up & 30 down.
  14. Works fine on Live for me. No issues lighting it with Taser Dart on my Grav/TA
  15. There's technically 4 but actually 5 Pistol, Dual Wield, Suppressive, Executioner's Shot are the 4. Piercing Round is technically a cone but in practice an incredibly narrow one so you mostly treat it like the others. It was implemented like that to give the illusion of it going through a front enemy and hitting someone directly behind them but it's rare. On my DP / Kin I take Pistol, Executioners and Piercing and use them as my single target attacks. Suppressive was poor damage (it was really a mez with a bit of damage) but I dunno if it's been improved.
  16. I did a Manti yesterday and I did notice a few points along the way where there was a lot of boss-heavy spawns (5-6 bosses and maybe a minion). Nothing scientific, just something I kinda went "huh" to yesterday.
  17. The ones I keep going back to : 1. Illusion / Dark / Mace Controller. Namesake. Can handle most things, has delusions of being a Mastermind without needing to worry too much about keeping them alive. Happily solos AVs. 2. DP / Kin Corruptor. Just fun. Melds really well into fast moving teams (making them even faster), if you're not in melee range 0.5 seconds after the tank (or just before) you're doing something wrong. My ITF specialist (only because they make it stupidly fun). 3. Fire / Claws Tank. AoE whirly death and is a giant chicken. Still very tough. How could you not like this. 2nd most fun ITF character (after the DP / Kin). Basically a Tank with perma Scrapperlock. 4. Rad / Martial Tank. Pretty unkillable with Storm Kick adding both Defense + stacking Resists via Might of the Tanker. Two stacks and you're resist capped to everything bar Cold, with s/l/melee def capped too. Immune to most debuffs bar Defense Debuff. If that gets too much an Ageless Radial lets you reset. Happily soloed +4x8 Manticore AV on Mender Silos's arc during the week (with incarnate powers obvs) even soaking up the 1400 unresistable damage spikes from Mantis Teleport Arrow without panicking. 5. Ice / Stone Stalker. New entry and the last char I've levelled but excellent. Tough as hell, excellent damage and the cycle of Crits and Build-Ups is very addictive. Deletes bosses.
  18. Not really. They can take procs but the proc rate is fairly miserable
  19. No they don't. I bought 3 regular attuned procs for 1 million a pop yesterday. One Posi Blast, one bombardment and one Ice Mistral. PvP IOs (regardless of whether or not they're a proc) will be 7-8 million but that's because they're rarer PvP IOs rather than the fact they are procs. Purple Procs cost about the same as other purple IOs.
  20. I can help with the Traps, and especially with Traps + Proc rates. Remove the procs from Acid Mortar other than the Chance for Res. They don't go off often enough (I've parsed them multiple times and came to the conclusion they didn't add much at all). Remove any procs from Seekers, they won't work at all. Nor will they work in Trip Mine. I've tested. Weirdly Hold Procs do work great in Poison Gas Trap. It's the place for them (it's also a hefty -regen and thus great for AV fights). I'd also assume they won't go off for Temporal bomb but I haven't tested and Temporal might be like Poison Gas Trap. I know they didn't work with Time Bomb, it's down to "once they explode do they leave a pseudo-pet / patch behind which can trigger the procs" So I'm unsure about procs + Temporal Bomb until I've respecced my Ice/Traps, run some missions and run the combat log through my Combat Log parser to if / see how often they go off. For the Seer is it worthwhile using them as a pet defenses mule? If you've lots of Recharge then maybe just slot them out with Recharge intensive pet IOs and use them. I have Patron Pets perma on a few characters thanks to lots of Recharge and they're worthwhile. (Traps does love lots of recharge)
  21. Urrgh. I need to respec my Ice/Stone (bye bye Geode, you suck)
  22. Poison Gas Trap is a very handy proc bomb. 2 50+5 recharge IOs, 3 Hold Damage procs and the lockdown proc is how I slotted it. My Traps is an Ice / Traps / Sorcery / Fold Space controller (it's a weird one) so I do use Trip Mine since I can Control myself the space to use it to toe bomb. It's decent damage for a Controller if you can pull it off (or Fold Space things onto it) but on fast moving teams it's not great (this is the Traps motto to be honest). Even my Thugs / Traps has Fold Space for pulling things And yes, Traps LOVES recharge.
  23. All my characters monitored stats now stop early with a Gravity entry. It's very weird.
  24. Here's two conversions of my DP / Kin corruptor into Elec / Kin and Rad / Kin. Trick here is to get as close to cap on positional defenses rather than typed. Then you can happily take whatever epic you like, you aren't forced into Scorp Shield. Ingame the numbers are slightly higher than Mids says (45.1 melee and 41 ranged) which, with a Defense Amplifier or someone on the team with Manoeuvres gets you softcapped. I think @StarseedWarrior was looking for the Rad / Kin version. These are mostly a palette swap and some rejigging of my DP / Kin which I've also attached. Epic-wise since Soul Drain is changing you have the option of switching to Mu for the extra End Drain (although the build doesn't lean into that anyway, I think if you want a sapper go Kin / Elec cos Defenders are better at it) the best Resist armour available and a wee pet who gets you over the ranged cap. Aim and Charge Up are optional. DP doesn't get them so you could happily swap the slots back into Tactics for the 6 Gaussians and pick some other 1 slot wonder power (Vengie + lotg or a travel power slotted with KB protection for example). If you do decide to go with Dark anyway the new Soul Drain or whatever it's called will take 6 Artillery or 3 Artillery (or 3 Hami-Os) and 3 procs.
