  1. There is a pair of red side contacts that work the same. Fire Wire & Dr Weber They're low level in the 1-7 range which matches the blue side ones you mention. On the OP: Not all contacts can have their bars fully filled.
  2. VidiotMaps has been updated. You're probably still pulling up the old map. ATC gives this instruction many times:
  3. Oh yea, if you find yourself on a PUG with Snarky, there's probably something going to go wrong. He's a magnet for it.
  4. A lot of helpful people in chat though a lot of us forget how much "intuitive stuff" is really just from playing the game over the last 20 years... You'll also want to check https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Main_Page Note, it's not perfect, but does get updated. (Though I think it's still in the midst of a server move, so it's been locked for a bit)
  5. Only via time capsules though the chances of them being the ambush is higher than the other mobs.
  6. Probably can talk to servers that are inclined to join into HC, but I doubt that they can talk about it in the open. At least one of the other servers is openly hostile, so I wouldn't see any traction there. Cooperation amongst them all would be great, but realistically...
  7. Access to Travel Passport (and Long Range Teleporter) is now unlocked by acquiring any 10 exploration badges, instead of one exploration accolade. This doesn't affect characters who already own Long Range Teleporter, and the Pocket D unlock method is still present. Note: For technical reasons, this only counts exploration badges collected after the patch
  8. You're a guy (or at least come across that way) which cuts down a bit on stalking. I have a few friends that have had issues, I worked in security for a bit, and when I was a mod elsewhere I came down pretty hard on someone who had been a creep to a younger female player, so it's out there.
  9. It was. I forget what the mag was prior, but I want to say it was unresistable.
  10. Taunt and pretty much any aura that has any sort of effect on enemies will interrupt these things. Communication Officers, Skyraider Engineers, CoT & Cadavers exploding, etc...
  11. There are a couple day jobs like that. One day, need to go flit about and test where the timer is dead for or shifts you somewhere because of being too close to a door.
  12. Where's the windmill emote?! 🇳🇱
  13. Though I do notice, that name is available on all servers as of 7pm EST...
  14. And you're wrong. Are things missed? Yes, because that's just the nature of software QA, and it's not like we even have testing plans at our level, but there are thousands of interacting parts that may or may not be evident. (See Rikti portals in the war zone arc as an unintended side effect that got missed originally)
  15. And you can even generate a menu that will get you all the enhancements for a build from Mids. It's a good platform for testing builds and doing ad hoc tests of upcoming changes. Though the testing in Alpha is usually more malleable and tends to be a longer process. The change you're against was in there for quite a few months there and did get feedback, some of which was used. Not sure how many MMs got tested on it though.
  16. They have modified stuff when it's done live. And my post about "This sucks", was just a general rule, not directed especially at you.
  17. And, the feedback seems to go better if you have a reasoned response more than "THIS SUCKS" They definitely do listen to us, but remember, they're people.
  18. Nah, it is why they don't give as much XP though. There is that one Unai mission that gives double credit towards the badge for Tanks, but that's a different beast anyway.
  19. They are like a mini game. I often will have a high KD attack ready to knock them off their feet with a high damage followup with some chars. (Or tossing those holds at that time, or a few other tactics for them)
  20. Hmm. Would probably take some tinkering of the DB and possibly more traffic. I do notice if I'm in a base and putting stuff into storage, my alt account character sees the same slight pause on the screen as the active char. Though, come to think of it, we already know which char put the item into storage. And... it only marks down the last person who put something of that type into storage. Toggle on the permissions can be handled by the SG page, so not just the SG leader could do the maintenance. Now on the other hand, this would be annoying to use if you're just trying to move some stuff from one char to another. For now, I think having some bins as input only, and others being free for all can be the way to go which is already available.
  21. The ATC menu is great as is because some of us like to modify it for our own purposes. However, it would be easy to put together a Dayjob menu that had the descriptions of where to go for the various locations. I don't use the DJ portion much except to double check I did get them all when I think I'm done and sometimes I forgot that I needed to switch alignment to finalize it. The trick is, there are several different locations for most of the day jobs. And weirdly some spots that show the icon, but will not get you the job progress. Spots like the vault in Pocket D that when you log back in, you'll pop out a door in the club instead finding you got progress on clubber instead of banker. I'm pretty CDO about my day jobs, all my characters get all of them, so I have my favorite spots for a bunch of them. The wiki does a decent job though looking at it, could be made a little more helpful to be one page, but clicking on the next page for the various job locations gives good detail. https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Day_Job_Badges
  22. Just was on an instanced MSR today. Low volume of players, but I found it as smooth as any other MSR. I thought very well done, no problems with suddenly low level on a team, everyone was present. (I still think they are about 10-15 min too long, but that's my own reason for not doing MSRs very often)
  23. So, played around a bit on beta. Claiming a string of items will usually result in wasting inf if you are not careful. So if you have a bunch of items where none will bump you over, but there is an item that by itself would push you over, it will stop on that item. Say you have 1,998,000,000 inf and you have a bunch of items that sold for 1m first in the queue, but there's a set of 3 items that sold for 1m each in that further down the queue. It will process all the single 1m on the way tossing the extra inf away, but will pop up the overflow error when it hits the 3 item bit since 3m would push you over the limit in the first place. Definitely shows one shouldn't mess around when you know you're near the edge.
