  1. Honestly, I'd drop the Panacea proc into health and steal a slot away from something to to keep the 5-slot in DP.
  2. Pretty sure you HAVE to visit a trainer to switch builds. Why I recommend placing one near the entrance of your SG.

  4. Or, all the AE NPCs and interactables could be removed without changing the code at all. I don't know that we need OP's suggestion, but this is a bit hyper...bolic.   9. Basically the game would need to be disassembled to tear the stuff out. And unsure if the original versions of the map are available to reinstate. Assume they would need to be created from scratch. And then we'd have a second, separate code base for the game, simply so AE isn't then, WHEN YOU CAN SIMPLY AVOID IT YOURSELF. Won't speak for the devs. But it will PROBABLY be a diplomatic, but hard "no".
  10. Maybe it's just my inner jerkface talking. But I really don't CARE what others' "preference" is. If people haven't learned how to slot in ANYTHING and use it properly at this point...well...I stopped headbutting every monolith I came across year ago. You've said it yourself. The problem is with the people, not the power set. That's just it. I don't feel the need to pander to people who simply can't wrap their head around the set.

  12. FF is a Tankfender primary with a mix of hard and medium control (Detention field and the various KB/Repel). Simply because some people don't know how to harness the medium controls, and others can't appreciate those that DO is no reason to jack around with the set. It's like booting a FF Defender from a group because "You're not healing!" Also, if you REALLY hate the KB power THAT much, there are now options for converting KB into KD. Sonic is also the basis for Tankfendering. But it mostly trades its combat control aspects for buffing and debuffing.   13. Doc Q is one of the TFs that's benefitted the most from the advanced travel options (ATT, Team Transport, etc). A decent team can knock one out at a lesiurely pace of about 2 hours. A well built team looking to speed can buzzsaw through in about an hour. ESPECIALLY lucrative when it's the WTF!
  14. Fire, Elec, Rad and Dark are nice Resist sets (even though Dark ALSO brings some Defense) It's actually fairly easy to cap out all but one or two of your Resist stats. If you find yourself needing more defense, this is what your Incarnate shield or your Hybrid are for. They'll get you over "the hump". And if you get Defense debuffed? Scream like a little girl as they come in, then set Phasers to BEATDOWN as you're a Resist-centric tank and they should be flogged mercilessly for forgetting this fact! Dark makes it fairly easy to layer on Defense as well. So, like Invuln, WP, Stone, these are decent "hybrid" sets. Primarily Defense-centric Tanks work well too. Just, expect them to "eggshell" every now and again as they're trading damage AMELIORATION for damage AVOIDANCE. I wish I could recommend Stone more. However, with the expanded IO offerings, it''s VERY hard to make a case for Stone armor anymore. You can build several tanks to 99.99% of the toughness of a Granite tank for the entirety of the game, including +4x8 Incarnate content. But every other tank is running around with the rather crippling tradeoffs Stone makes for it's toughness. Now don't get me wrong. A kitted out Stoner is a thing of absolute beauty, and generally the gold standard for Immortality. I mean HELL! Properly built, you can softcap both typed Defenses AND Resists while running JUST: * Stone Skin * Earth's Embrace * Mud Pots * Rooted * Hasten * Granite Armor * Agility Core Paragon With an End Drain of 0.75/sec (with Recovery at 3.6/sec) With Regen at 456% With Recharge at 71.3% Hero Plan by Mids' Hero Designer 1.962 http://www.cohplanner.com/ Click this DataLink to open the build!
