  2. "Pure Healing"/"Pure Healer" A phrase that is like strapping me into a chair and forcing me to listen to a thousand solid hours of nails on a chalkboard... I can understand wanting to know what sets provide the best or most stable ally heals. But I find the "pure" concept an absolute waste. Mainly because EVERY character in this game can DPS, Tank and Heal. And since the others on your teams are bringing mutiple aspects to the game, what're you offering? Heals and not much else...
  3. Unfortunately no. I'm pretty much Midwest-based. And Origins and GenCon eat up most of my "vacation" time from my regular job. The only reason I was able to make it to the last "Player's Summit" was because it was announced REALLY far in advance. So I could plan time for it, and pick up tickets on the cheap. However, there's nothing stopping YOU, or others, from tossing a M&G together. Either by itself, or around another event where lots of people from out-of-town will be coming through anyhow.

  5. Good catch! I missed it because your power-order was a bit...weird for how I normally arrange them. And it's not JUST about hitting S/L Resist cap. Ideally you want to bring your Resists up as well. This way anything bypassing your Defenses does as little damage as possible. Here's a bit of a revision.   6. The answer is "Yes you can". If you're trying to max your +Rech, you're likely better off WITH than without. But, if you're simply trying to squeeze a couple extra powers in? Yeah. It'll work. The thing is, the ability to soft-cap is actually more dependent on you SECONDARY than it is on your primary. Also, your attack chain is a bit too long for the amount of slots So it might be a good idea to shorten it up and take some ancillary powers. Combat jumping, Hasten. Hell, even Recall Friend could be useful in Tanker-Stealth missions (run through and TP your teammates into the final room). Here's what I was able to immediately mine out of your setup.   7. The hard part about actual "tanking" is holding aggro. But that FF build should be hella-durable unless you run into something chucking defense debuffs like rice at a wedding (Incarnate BP).
  8. I've found the SOA to be ridiculously versatile. Blaster wannabe. Scrapper. Team buffbot. French SOA: I do it all baby!
  9. Some of this might also be what I term "stupid camera tricks". In some cases, you have to get the camera positioned properly or you can't actually place items properly.

  11. -4 will be fine in most cases. -8 will allow you to effectively tank about 90% of the game. No matter how much you slot, Reichsman is still going to bounce you around. If you have two slots for -KB IOs, you REALLY don't need Acrobatics (and I've always viewed the power as a waste of a pick and slots).

  22. Going to assume that your primary reason for 5-slotting RA with Doctored Wounds is for the 5% Rech. If so, look at 5 Slot Panacea for 7.5% Rech. Or, if you can squirrel away another slot from someplace, 6-slot Preventative Medicine for +8.75%. Also, if you take Fighting, take KICK instead of Boxing. With Kick, you can put in a Force Feedback +Rech proc. Won't be VERY useful, but more useful than an unslotted Boxing. Also, something is borked. You have FIVE Ancillary Pools (how else would you get Combat Jumping)? So your build is invalid. I'd also question your failure to use Choking Cloud and your underslotting of Health.
  23. I have a high-recharge PB that I just love to death. While YES, he's got Dwarf form, it's only used as a mule. He's basically Perma-Lightform. I have a nicely kitted out WS too. But I just find her WAY less durable. And on a lot of the teams I run with, by the time I get all my stuff set up, the mobs are dead and we're running on to the next...
