Yeah. I used to have that problem with my Fire/Fire. I'd go into a mission with two Tanks. They'd engage, draw aggro, and then I'd come in. This would basically rip all their aggro away and cause the groups to Alpha me... And I had a nice, ultra-high recharge, perma-sniper... ...who couldn't seem to stop noshing floor... Yes. You can have the same bonus up to 5 times. Now, LOTG is ALSO part of an exception as well. LOTG's 7.5% bonus is it's own thing. HEALTH! Basic "ideal endurance" slotting for health is the Panacea Proc, the Numina Unique and the Miracle Unique. +Absorb is NICE.. But it's not very useful when you run out of Endurance. Toss the Regenerative Tissue +Regen in Physical Perfection I will say this. Comparatively, your build is relatively inexpensive. Also, you're at 6x for instances of the +Rech LOTG. Will eake you out just a scotch more F/C Resist. Not sure if the Kismet will work for you in Grant Cover. Honestly? A single Gift of The Ancients +Run Speed is something of a waste. With Sprint and Swift turned on, you get +135% Run Speed...UNSLOTTED. Slotted with Generic Run IOs? +171% +7.5% is a JOKE. Also, you forgot to turn off the FF Proc in Kick (click on the green bubble). It adds 100% +Rech that is NOT going to be there much, if at all. Rage: If you're just dropping Recharge-only IOs in, don't bother wasting money on the Recharge-only IO from a ToHit set. Just dump in Generic IOs in. Stamina: Forget the set bonuses for Stamina. Efficient slotting for Stamina, Superior Conditioning, and any other set powers that function as always-on Recovery Boosters is Perf Shifter +End and EndMod. Maximal would simply add a generic EndMod on. Going with L20 sets, which don't have much in the way of really decent bonuses, just shoots you in the foot. Positioning of Steadfast Res/Def and Gladiator's Armor +3% Def is VERY not-optimal. Basically, in the *HEEHAW!* end of the build, you'll lose the effect EVERY TIME YOU EXEMP. Leave the Psi Resist in the default slot. Stick them up in Deflection. Yes. You lose some E/N Resist and some Melee Defense. The Rage Crash "issue" is a mountain made of a molehill (made by a very runty mole). The game makes multiple mitigation schemes possible. Also, 10 seconds is an incredibly short duration and NOWHERE in the game are you REQUIRED to run soft-cap 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Look at his build. He's soft-capped to all three positionals. And this is BEFORE Phalanx Fighting. Get three (THREE!) allies (not teammates, ALLIES) in range and he's essentially INCARNATE SOFT-CAPPED to all positionals. Please stop trying to talk someone out of a build they're having fun with because you have "philosophical" problems with a single power.

On your build (once I actually figured out it was a data link and not a data chunk). I'm just philosophically opposed to using Obliteration due to it's *BLEEP!* End Redux. Shield Charge and Foot Stomp aren't bad if used ONCE each. But they're coming up fast enough that they should be getting used REGULARLY when beating down a large group. And that lack of End Redux is gonna HURT. Foot Stomp is up more often than Knockout Blow is. And costs half-again the Endurance. Shield Charge is more in line with KOB with a 4x long recharge.

I'll just agree to disagree here. A BUILT Tank really has no need for a zero-damage medium-control attack. Even with KB converted to KD. Quite simply, there are better power picks out there. Though I could see it as Yet Another Option for those complaining about the Rage Crash. "Our attacks do no damage and our Defense craters! *HAND CLAP*

And for the majority of the game, you don't need 45% Defense every second of every minute of every hour of every day, it's just a Nice to Have. And "nobody" builds for 65% defense? Been there. Done that. Sent funky postcards. Now, if you're constantly playing +4x8 or something, then yeah. Some allowances are needed. And on many Tanks with layered mitigation, having your Defenses chopped out for *GASP* TEN WHOLE SECONDS isn't a death sentence. Indeed, on some, like Invuln, where you have Invincibility, if you've built to 45% Defense, with a saturated Invinc, you're sitting at 60% Defense. My view of this is that this is a mountain being made of a molehill. The game gives you multiple options for dealing with the Rage crash. Note the term "option". Nobody's FORCING you to do ANYTHING. So I find the assertion "I just shouldn't have to deal with it PERIOD" a bit...disingenuous. With that, I think I'm done with this discussion. I'm not seeing any justification more than "I want it this way." -

Sorry if I come across as "bitchy" about this. But I spend a good chunk of my life reading things on my computer and I have a marked preference for compact layouts. Even at my recockulous resolution. The basic post font and line spacing is good. Just the padding/margins need tweaking.

I'm aware of condensed view. And am trying to use it. It's still bloated. Both in terms of text size and vertical and horizontal white space padding. I'm running a browster at 2160x3840 and I feel like I'm reading on a 768x1024 screen. My eyesight's pretty good. But I'd hate to see this forum at lower resolution.

You CAN soft-cap to one set of types. But you have no native Defense. So you have no DDR. So anything that hits you is going to automatically strip off the maximum amount of Defense. The main problem with Stone is that you get more or less ultimate toughness. The problem is, the modern incarnation of the game is relatively speedy. Even optimized out, Stone Armor is just too slow to keep up with this game pace.

BP is ALWAYS going to be a problem. As they're tossing MASSIVE debuffs of all sorts. For pretty much everything else, it's a decent brick.
