This is nothing new. Fortunatas, the Tarantula Mistresses, etc. all have done this for years.

Pop a yellow, use Tactics - and some armor (and other?) sets all counter it.

As I'm reading it, /powexec location (or whatever that command is) won't let you teleport somewhere you can't see. If you manually select it (to places you can see with the camera and place a cursor,) you can still get there.

    As for the rest...

Still unhappy with Volt. Sentinel being turned into an offensive, can get detoggled when mezzed toggle. Kills the usefulness to me on anything but a sentinel, and given my first 50 (remade here) was an elec/elec blaster from way back in the day was an elec/elec blaster, and it's part of what *made* the character who she was, it disappoints me more than it sounds like it warrants.  Love absolutely everything else so far, really. (Preparing for the inevitable "ur rong iz awesome" responses to actually having an opinion and not liking this change.) The VS change just affects characters near and dear to me and was (IMHO) not needed, so it just personally has a much bigger impact.

Good news is you can resummon the Voltaic Sentinel in 10 seconds.

First, thank you for responding. And thank you explaining rather than getting defensive and/or attacking me.

Secondly, perhaps then an in game email, perhaps sent automatically when the ticket gets closed, that says "A GM has read your report." At least then people wouldn't feel that the reports are just being ignored and/or not read.

Please remember, it's not that players are making baseless assumptions. Players will often star and/or friend the account they've reported. Then, when they see the account is still online days later, it appears that no action has been taken. We're not in the loop so we can only make decisions based on available information.

And finally, I want to say thank you to you, and to the entire Council of Thirteen, for keeping Homecoming up and running and still alive with updates.

Players can review the status of their support ticket by clicking the Support tab at the top of the forum pages. They can also opt in to receiving an email to the email address linked to their account. They can also review the status of their support ticket, with the status reflecting "Open" "Closed" "Resolved" etc.

I always thought that "mez" was just short for "mesmerize" and covered everything from charmed, held, sleeped (or slept?), stunned, dazed, confused, etc...

Hold, Sleep, and Disorient (also called Stun) are mezzes. Taunt, Placate, Confuse, Repel, Knockback/Up, Immobilize, NoPhase, Invulnerable (after Teleporting), and Dimension Shift are not if I'm reading the wiki right.

What about the defeated status, when all HP is depleted? Is that its own unique status effect?

So, just so I get this right... in a situation where:

    a) I can TUNNEL to Night Ward to get access to Midnight Club on Primal Earth (for some reason)

    b) Queue into ITF to insta-teleport to Cimerora

    c) Every hero/villain has access to LRT as a power even if it makes no sense for their character

"You can't teleport to Cimerora because in-world consistency" is suddenly a thing?

I don't have an opinion one way or the other on whether it should be added to LRT. I just wanted to point out the absurdity of taking this stance where there's already dozens of other convenience-related features of the game that don't follow this kind of rule.

It may be absurd for the reasons you've articulated, but it's the stance of the folks running the game. I'm okay with it either way, same as you - but I also know if that's how the HC Team wants it, that's how it's gonna be.

  5. Hmm... little bit of a slippery slope here. OP not trying to talk numbers. Most of the OP feedback is based on qualitative... well let's be honest its anecdotal evidence at best. I would prefer in game numbers be the basis for an argument to buff a set if I'm being honest.

I did appreciate the TL:DR at the end, props for that.

Edit: OP not other posters, oops!

  6. I can't tell the difference now that the rep is gone from the mobile view. I used to read posts on my phone, but now I don't have the ability to see the reputation of others.

Of course, that's fine. Mobile view tends to have fewer features anyways.

Can't they go through the portal in Studio 55 to Pocket D and from there to the Primal zones?

Canonically, Pocket D (short for pocket dimension) and possibly Echo Plaza are outside of the Primal universe - they exist in their own pocket dimensions created by DJ Zero, a Tom Bombadil-type character, similar to Null the Gull.

Edit: To answer your question, yes they can travel to Pocket D via the Studio 55 portal. They can also travel to Echo Plaza, along with the Winter Forest zone, the Talos Island Tiki Event zone, and the Harvest Atlas Park zone.

I prefer this breakdown.  Yes, a T6 bonus in the 4th slot is enticing, but honestly can see myself using 2 or 3 slots of these on builds.  I'd have to sit down in Mids for a bit with the final updates to see if I might ever 4 slot a travel power with one of these, regardless of which breakdown you use.  But my gut feeling is that I wouldn't, even with the T6 bonus unless, perhaps, it was a T6 bonus to HP, Defense, Resist, or Recharge and I doubt that would happen.

Agreed with the T2, T4, and T5 breakdown as well.

Booper - this looks *much* more appealing to slot.  But as someone with minimal interest in slotting a travel power, I would still argue if you want folks to use these sets it will be counter-productive to make the first two bonuses "uninspiring".  CoH already has a lot of uninspiring set bonuses for powers much more in need of slotting.  T2 Resist / T4 Sustain / T6 Move/Sustain would however be extremely tempting.  I would certainly want to find a way to work those set bonuses into my build.  A T2/T4/T6 offering has the potential to change how people look at and use travel powers.

after 4 tries i finished this mission.  I just soloed all goldside through Ouro.  I hated it.  Hate goldside.

Hands down this mission was worse than any mission goldside and worse than some arcs.

    1) completely unclear instructions that no gaming in the city will prepare you to figure out. (touch only the side of the screen?  and others...)

    2) lets add smoke and obstructions

    3) later lets add fire and make everything practically unseeable

    4) changing (and mostly unclear) objectives

    5) add a timer!

    6) add glowies later that werent there before so you think you searched a room, but surprise, the map changed!!!

    7) keep screwing with the team by adding random debuffs, damage, and end drain

😎 is there any way to actually physically harm the player (just a note i found on the wall in the back....)

Sounds like you're not a fan of change. This is one of the newer arcs created by the Homecoming team that doesn't cookie cut the same generic mission style and map layout. They are truly unique to the game and I would recommend reading through the story arc clues and in game dialog to not just appreciate the work that was put in to it, but also get a better understanding of the objectives for each mission and the purpose.
