A screenshot is worth a thousa--- wait... $700 million influence! WOW!

@Player2, you post some of the most creative costumes I have seen in this game. I am curious if you play any of these characters or do you prefer the costume creator more?
-
Totally agree. I'm looking for a combination of 4-5 years before upgrading again playing games at 1440p/165hz at max graphical settings. Obviously CoH is a different story - just curious if anyone had snagged and tried.
-
This looks like a vidiotmaps add-on issue.
-
It was placed in the public beta two weeks ago, so players like you and I will be testing it out and providing feedback and suggestions before it is officially released on the live shards. One way to improve the quality of content and the speed of the release is to assist our volunteer developers with play testing and reporting of any bugs.
-
It was removed specifically to support the play styles of the majority of the types of players who most frequent the zones. It's removal is not likely to be reversed. There are plenty of alternatives to Jump Jet/Steam Pack that have been mentioned in this thread to provide you with a work around when you visit these zones.
-
Fair enough, agree to disagree. Playing the game is fun for me, I count grinding as playing so we are of different, but no less valid opinions.
-
SPOILERS!!!!!!
-
I'm gonna have to disagree with your opinion. I like the grind.

@Jimmy, I didn't see this in the Beta Build 3 you posted in this thread, but in the Beta Patch Notes Build 3 it noted that "RV Support AV's" levels were reduced from 54 to 52. I spawned Lord Recluse and Ghost Widow to test/confirm, and it appears their levels were removed entirely.
-
The good news is there aren't any badges that require the usage of the Jump Pack in RV (all on the ground). As for the rest of the PvP zones, they can be collected without the Jump Pack if you jump on the geometry of buildings, use any vertical-capable travel pool powers, or ask for assistance from someone with team tp (like the old days of badge collecting!). I would notch this one to a minor inconvenience, but note worthy for its impact nonetheless. As for PvE content and zone-event activities in PvP zones, I am pretty familiar with each PvP zone and I can't think of a reason to need the Jump Pack. Sometimes I try to get on top of the Warburg rocket after I launch it, but I am never quick enough. What are your experiences?

General Feedback: Issue 27, Page 1
Glacier Peak replied to Jimmy's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
Beta Patch 3 - WOW, WOW, WOW!!!! Some seriously amazing QoL additions! The stances in costume editor, customizing the sprints, so many new arena maps to test, keeping EM changes WHOOO!!!! You volunteers are seriously amazing and I can't wait to test these additions. It is going to be a great update when it hits the live shards! -
It probably went to the beta shard when there weren't enough players testing and providing feedback to catch this small hiccup.
-
I learned soloing AVs is hard if you don't come prepared! This became evident to me during my first Posi solo. Dr. Vaz was a lot of trouble with Envenomed Daggers and not enough damage to overcome his healing. I ran that TF twice before I gave up and picked up the daggers!
-
I'm planning on testing these two out later this week, hopefully sooner than later. I'll report back any findings in the beta forum section.

Just to preface, this is currently a bug on the beta Brainstorm shard, but look at this cosplay!!! BARON ARACHNID

Controversial Opinion of Population Decline
Glacier Peak replied to Solarverse's topic in General Discussion
I actually went the personal server route before I went to Homecoming, partly due to a lack of awareness. I am much happier after the switch as well. -
Another General Feedback Post While in RV, if you are defeated then place a banned power on auto, and then click 'Go to Hospital', any power selected for auto firing can be activate. The example below in the combat log shows me using Rebirth Core Epiphany after jumping next to a drone and following the method outlined previously. Edit: I wanted to test this with Resurrect instead of going to the hospital, but I didn't have the time.
-
Edit: I have to assume these were not included in the banned powers in PvP zones because they met a certain criteria, however, if they were overlooked, please read on. The following Day Job Powers are still active while in a PvP zone: Smoke Bomb Web Grenade Beguile The following Temporary Powers (in no particular order, apologies!) are still active while in a PvP zone: Underground Transporter Med Pack Recovery Serum Ethereal Shift Envenomed Daggers Enchantment of Serafina Flames of Prometheus Holiday Spirit Instant Snow Storm Architect Comlink also works (opens up the AE menu) while in a PvP zone, though it will not allow you to do anything game breaking based on my testing.

Controversial Opinion of Population Decline
Glacier Peak replied to Solarverse's topic in General Discussion
This is not really relevant to the discussion per say, but great job @Solarverse with keeping a good eye on the thread and getting in replies. Folks will disagree (like I have) with your opinion, but it is good to see you've shepherd your thread along and keep it on track. Tough topic, lots of opinions. And thank you volunteer Mods! -
Great find and testing!!!

@QuiJon There is an in game option, in the graphics and audio tab, that allows you increase the Gamma displayed during gameplay. This essentially increases the brightness of darker areas within the game world. If you're on Windows 10, there are options for higher contrast display. By typing in to the default search bar on the desktop, it brings up the 'Ease of Access' options, which allows users to increase their contrast for specific items or even the entire screen: Another option, depending on the type of computer monitor you have, there are also options to increase the contrast and brightness ratio to compensate for low lighting areas in games. For example, I have a setting on my monitor called "Dark Boost" which allows me to select three separate and increasing levels of brightness in areas on my screen that are dark. I also have an adaptive contrast setting to use if the three levels don't bring the darkened areas in to focus for me. All that being said, I am a big advocate for increasing accessibility for anyone who needs it.
