The badge art is wrong on Protector of Paragon City. It will be fixed in a later patch. They are different badges with different requirements. Patch notes describe what is needed for each. -
Labyrinth of Fog Secret Locations [SPOILERS]
Glacier Peak replied to Final Overlord's topic in Open Beta Testing
Defeat the five variants of the Minotaur to get the minitaur. I'll speculate that the Mini Benefactor is tied to the Malevolent Fog somehow. -
I'm not one to recommend erasing stuff unless storage space is an issue. When I switched to the Homecoming Launcher, I feel like it copied everything I had in my Tequila folder. You could double check that yourself by comparing the two installation folders.

High risk, high reward. -
Mote is, well I think it's a biblical word. Something like a particle or small piece of something? Secret areas have been found.

Finally! Edit: Just kidding π

Mastered the Mastermind Basics - Now I need to get advanced

Welcome back, I've missed these posts. If only @Bopper was also still posting their guides and in-depth build studies! -
It's a video game

What I'm enjoying the most is that I can share with others the ways I've learned to get through the zone and what helps. It's definitely overwhelming when you join a full league and everyone is running around doing different things. As time goes on, it will get less chaotic and easier to navigate. So far I'm seeing the following strategy: League forms. Basic guidance about picking up Stealth from the empowerment station in the Midnighters Club and grabbing Draught of the Fog inspirations from the Auction House if empty. Enter to the zone lobby and standby. League leader picks 7 Mote Runners to run to each Mote. Then League TPs to each Mote in order to secure the Mote of the Gladiator afterwards. League leader also picks Malevolent Fog team to search for fogs. Once everyone is up on Mote of the Gladiator, the raiding begins and continues until enough level shifts are acquired. Slay the Minotaur, pretty straight forward. Then keep taking in the inf and xp until raid disbands. Edit: What I'm finding difficulty in is consistently getting to the Endless Colonade. Sometimes it happens first random door, other times I'll never get it.

4 hours to download 9 GBs??? Hopefully this doesn't come across as rude, but you should get better internet - that would be what I would recommend.

I was lost as everyone else. I followed the guidance of those who found this stuff out before me and shared that as best I could. Really wish I could've got everyone in the league in that room. Don't forget to check your Prestige costumes for the Gladiator in the Fog costume!

It is actually just doing -MaxHP debuff stacks on the player. You can see with each click on Blarf, it adds another stack. I've got up to 20, but if you can watch your own MaxHP in combat attributes, you'll see it plummet to 1, then Blarf does its attack.

Might be a max award count shenanigan happening. We had less than 30 on the league on Indomitable when we slayed the Minotaur. We all got it as far as I could tell.

New Computer - Can No Longer Take Screenshots
Glacier Peak replied to Acroyear's topic in Help & Support
Take a look in the menu > controls, then scroll down to the Take Screenshot button and see if it's mapped to any keyboard keys. If not, map it to something then when you hit it, it will save to the place where your CoH game files are stored, in a folder titled 'Screenshots' -
I'm actually really liking these tip missions. I ran to the Supercomputer in my base and grabbed a bunch of tips then went to Atlas because it's a small zone and plenty of doors, opened up a tip and punched Vigilante every time. Even to my surprise the appalling choices made that rival the decisions gold side.

Just let it defeat you and you'll get it. Blarf is consuming the player and eventually eats them. That's why the badge is called Nutrient Rich.

Really? There are a number of unique items added to the Warriors to distinguish them further from the previous generic costumes. Many have unique vambraces, tattoos with the Legionnaire logo, unique faces, unique belts, unique jeans. There are a mix of normal costume pieces for the lower tier Warriors and an obvious design influence from the movie that inspired the enemy group. As for high resolution models, you're setting your expectations far beyond what a twenty year old video game can achieve. The Homecoming Developers have the same game engine constraints as the legacy developers did back on live.

Rewards (XP/INF) Nerfed across the game.
Glacier Peak replied to Skoot the Brute's topic in Bug Reports
For both of your tests, can you answer the following: What server are you playing on? Did you previously have any temporary XP rate powers active? Did you have the Experienced temporary power active? Did you have the Windfall temporary power active? Did you recently defeat the Seed of Hamidon? Did you have any teammates on the map? -
That is the way to get the badge. Blarf needs to eat the player. That's why the badge is called 'Nutrient Rich.'

Cannot log in since update: Corrupt files?
Glacier Peak replied to pawstruck's topic in Help & Support
I'm assuming you're using Tequila. You should download the Official Homecoming City of Heroes Launcher instead. It is the officially supported and updated launcher created by the Homecoming Team. Installing City of Heroes on Windows Download the Homecoming Launcher. Follow the setup instructions and choose an installation directory. Note: If you have an existing City of Heroes installation (from Tequila or another legacy launcher), you must install the game to a new directory. The launcher will copy over most files (both game data and saved settings, costumes, etc) from an existing Tequila install if one exists.
