What @Frozen Burnwas referring to was after beta, in Issue 1. They just released the Shadow Shard zones and wanted to spread the impact of that across higher level zones to encourage players to visit.

As I've said many times in the past, you'll find a leech free, and really a player free experience on Indomitable of you're looking to avoid this in the future. There are more doors on city hall than players active on Indomitable. Heck, you'll roll a Mastermind just so it feels like you've got other folks to play with. I am kidding, but you might try out the lag free and pleasant experience that can be found on Indomitable. 👍

Pathing for NPCs during escort missions designed during a time when players did not have inherent Fitness pool and travel powers were HUGE endurance drainers that made players turn them off when not actively moving about a zone or cleared instance map. Basically things were slower back then, so NPCs moved slower. No change to that formula since legacy introduction, but many changes to player movement since then.

I think playing on the Beta server would be exactly what you're looking for. Instantly level up to 50 with the /levelup command and there are fewer people there than even Indomitable.

Just to be clear since it appears you are not responding to my proposed suggestion, this thread is about changing the name of the Indomitable server sub thread name, not Excelsior.

Seems like the original post is just venting from the original poster. These ToT EBs become much easier when in team or league environments. Even on Indomitable, with its low player population, I have been able to join groups who are ToTing. Another thing I do is I like to cast Ice Rain whenever I am watching a door so that I know exactly when to throw my attacks at the enemies in between the door opening animation and the actual affected status begins on the enemies.

I like the Halloween ToT Elite Bosses as they are.

Bottom line, I'd like to see the title of the Indomitable server sub thread changed from "Unofficial PvP server" to blank, like the Torchbearer and Excelsior sub threads.

Nah, the costumes are not meant to be handed out for free. Cobalt and the gang specifically designed them to pull wealth from the game (inf sink). Gather your ten Prismatic Aether Particles (PaPs) and purchase a costume from the Beneovlabs vendor. Right now, PaPs are going for 3 million inf a piece. Just need 30 million inf for a Tier 1 costume. Do the Halloween event and unlock the 5 Halloween Elite Boss badges, get to level 25 and then claim your 10 PaPs from the event. Trade your way to 10 PaPs through the auction house. Run some hardcore TFs/SFs. Edit: My bad! Thought this was about the Prestige Costumes, not the temporary ones! I had just purchase two of the three Halloween themed Prestige Costumes from Annah in Croatoa using 20 PaPs and 100 of each Halloween event salvage, so I wasn't reading the original post clearly 🙃

I'm torn on this suggestion, but maybe? On the one hand, I love this event - it's my favorite thing about CoH and I look forward to it every year. I'd love if it were added as a year long event in the Fall Atlas Park zone that Null the Gull takes you to. On the other hand, the reason I look forward to it so much is because it's only available for a month each year - if it was the whole year, I'd lose my excitement because I could go to said zone any time I wanted to. Neither of my comments are in response to the original suggestion, so sorry for the off hand remarks! Maybe?

What time of day do these normally kick off? I vaguely remember around 1000 Mountain time?

When talking about adding Regeneration to Tankers, hit points (HP) are the key to making the set work. The bigger the HP pool, the higher the regeneration per second. So since 3543 HP is the max HP cap on a Tankers, (and potentially add in an Absorb buffer of up to 1874 absorb points), you'll be easily hitting the highest green regeneration numbers possible per second. Even though Scrappers have the highest Regeneration cap, Tankers have the highest Max HP. Can anyone good with math play with that and make my point for me?

It may be worth transferring to Indomitable for the event. No lag here!

I was editing my base and had Mask Presence toggled on my Arachnos Widow. When I exited the base editor, my character was no longer invisible (visually), but retained the effects of the toggle. I posted a screenshot below - happy to discuss if anyone is trying to recreate. Additionally, maybe it is not a bug per say, but if there is some shenanigans going on behind the scenes with the base editing system I figured I would post about it. BEFORE AFTER
