  1. Perma is short for permanent, which more of an implication than a fact. In order to do so, a power (usually a click based) is activated. Edit: "Either the duration+activation needs to be more than the recharge or the recharge needs to be less than the duration+activation." ty Zag
  2. Transact 4 Victory (T4V) is the Praetorian equivalent and is located in the center circle in Nova Praetoria after starting a new character, adjacent to Dominatrix.
  3. Wasn't the Epic pool version of TK changed recently, as in on the Homecoming servers? Or did I miss a late legacy change? I remember it used to be some what controlled by the player and allow the directed movement of a targeted enemy NPC (and player in PvP). Now it seems to just add mag hold.
  4. Interesting! I'm a big fan of Targeted AOEs (I main an Ice/Cold Corruptor). Bonfire looks like a great complementary power. I'll have to check it out, maybe see what I can do about the endurance issues.
  5. I'm thinking in the grand scheme of converter roulette that this is normal. The way I look at it, every conversion could potentially be valuable to someone (meaning a 100% convert to desired item), but since I'm picky, the extra conversions are what I pay for to get exactly what I want. There isn't luck or external force involved. Something to the effect of "one person's trash is another's treasure"
  6. It's an interesting and frankly refreshing take on what support can mean - the set does offer the classic buffs and heals, but it's debuffs are what make it super versatile and unique. Because it deviates from that classic role, it takes a little trial and error to play to its fullest.
  7. I wish I could get in to the MM AT, but I always find myself deleting the build when I realize it's not fun telling henchmen to attack something and have to wait a while for enough damage to be dealt to each enemy. It's like Sentinels, fun AT but such a slog because damage output is balanced lower due to damage mitigation. I've honestly not tried Controllers, what would you recommend pairing with Storm? Fire Control?
  8. I think Storm Summoning is one of the rare sets that were created for Issue 1 and haven't needed any(?) changes since then because it has worked so well. I am adamantly against any changes to the set either on Corruptor or Defender. I haven't tried it on other ATs, so I don't have an opinion for those.
  9. I would've preferred the incarnate system as an archetype with specific content, some what like the hero and villain epic ATs. Unlocked after choosing to drink from the well of the furies instead of the trickle the in game lore feeds us. Then again, that model didn't work for ncsoft, so its a fantasy lol
  10. There are plenty of third party sites and back end mods to achieve the result you're seeking. Take a look at the badge sub forum.
  11. I mean, you're not wrong, but the actual oh shit button was and still is Granite/Geode.
  12. Seems like the logical solution to give players the ability to artificially hit a higher damage ceiling as opposed to doing an AT wide damage increase.
  13. Man that's a suggestion! Makes me think what the OP suggested and what others have said, going back and forth, or really back to back its a great concept. I'm sure some one will have my back and agree with me. Back me in to a corner with a sword or gun and I might change my mind though. Back on topic though, does anyone know what the apex of the back is called? 😄
  14. Not at all. The power isn't meant to be used as an oh shit button. It raises max hp and can easily be perma'd, which makes Rooted's regen work even better.
  15. Looks like all the regulars have been getting their post count padded in this silly thread, I'mma get mine now too! At least its nice to see some level of passion in this community, even if every day less and less people are on the forums or in game...
  16. Of the three Penelope Yin's in the game, Penelope Yin (Faultline), Penelope Yin (Praetorian), and Penelope Yin (Freedom Phalanx Member) - none are called Penny Yin. I'd say this is just a case of fan parody at least and a bit on the nose at worst. But I'm not a GM, so take it with a grain of salt!
  17. As far as temporary persistent buffs go... Cathedral of Pain Anger Monument temporary power grants (0.08 * Melee_Ones)% Damage (All) Strength (self only) for 10.25s DFB Hydra Chemical Damange Enhancer temporary power grants (0.12 * Melee_Ones)% Damage (All) Strength (self only) for 10.25s Neither appear to apply to Mastermind pets. I think DFB is a comparable example as they both also lasts for one week.
  18. Procs add a lot of flexibility and options to builds at the cost of moving the game away from role based gameplay decisions that rely on team work mechanics. So some discussion - why recruit Scrappers, Brutes, Sentinels, or Stalkers to the team when Blasters have a higher ranged damage modifier that outpaces melee attacks and can be damage proc'd even farther to destroy enemies faster than any other AT? What purpose would the Tank serve if there aren't any mobs to taunt? What about crowd control? Or support? Or HEATs/VEATs? On the other hand, the trade offs for proc builds is the initial investment in time and influence, then the build really only performs its one role very well (outputting damage).
  19. I'd have to check other persistent temporary buffs to see whether they also ignore Mastermind pets. Does anyone know if the DFB buffs apply to MM pets? Or Flames of Promethus? Um... what about the winter themed temp buffs from the Elf in the Pocket D Ski Chalet? If it's not working as intended though, I'd support this fix.
  20. Imagine the skin pruning from staying in the hot tub too long! Dr. Vahz would not approve.
  21. I'm still seeing mine... and I can log in no problem.
  22. I read this at the beginning of the pandemic, it's an really impressive read: https://www.amazon.com/They-Called-Enemy-George-Takei/dp/1603094504 And I've been going back through my Comixology collection of Batman classics (Long Halloween, What Ever Happened to the Caped Crusader, Batman: The Dark Knight trilogy, Killing Joke, Batman: Year One, etc..). And I can't get enough Sherlock Holmes. I loved the original novels and short stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle so I pick up one of those every so often and read through them again.
  23. @macskull Free range organic incarnate powers had me rolling 🤣
