  1. What did you think of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury? And My Hero Academia Season 6 is awesome so far! I really enjoyed Spy X Family also.
  2. Well I went Storm/ Water Defender for the knockups and chaos. Fun effects, easy pairing, heavy endurance consumption.
  3. I've only ever seen them used on other players in PvP, and even then it's just annoying. In a solo setting, most circumstances are already heavily controlled. Choose when to attack the next mob of enemies or when to use certain powers. In a team setting, foe intangible powers might help in those scenarios you've described, but keep in mind it's also a double edged sword - they will not be damaged by attacks until they are back to normal from that status effect.
  4. I suppose my playstyle is different, but I like to have at least a 75% chance to proc any 3.5 PPM procs. With your above slotting, you're hitting 50% chance to proc on 3.5PPM procs.
  5. I'm just confused that would be slotted with so many procs, did Whirling Hand get a recharge change?
  6. Yeah that's something that was mentioned that would be relooked possibly. Right now it's a 3% spawn chance to catch Jack on his throne sleeping.
  7. Unless it's a character I've played many years, like my main, I tend to just screenshot my power trays so that after the respec I've got the general layout right. And yeah, love me some /cleartray!
  8. Bug Report?
  9. Yeah that sounds like an unintended effect to me. If it hasn't already been done, I'd send that to the bug report thread.
  10. I do love asymmetrical patterns! I'm supportive of this suggestion.
  11. Well that would give Aeroprism reason to cringe certainly, but not for the lack of a best and genuine community. More like people behaving inappropriately and not providing the measured and repeatable testing requested by the Homecoming team, or just outright telling the developers they should quit because they don't agree with a change made. Would it surprise anyone to know that one developer took a hiatus from this game after that toxicity?
  12. Eventually you'll run in to the 5% chance to miss that is built in to the equation. The formula itself is confusing to me, so I generally look to hit 75% Acc in my powers the require a to-hit check.
  13. I think exploits are things like one shotting Hamidon or going outside the map to defeat enemies. What you've described makes me think it was an unintended side effect of a feature. Edit: And it would be addressed after it is reported through a bug report. Things like that get missed, there aren't enough testers to catch everything before updates hit the live shards.
  14. I haven't read any exploits yet in this thread.
  15. So ready for One Punch!!!!! 👊🤜🤛✊️
  16. I'm here until they turn the lights off. Welcome back.
  17. Bunping this thread in anticipation of AOT Season 4 Part 3, Demon Slayer Season 3, and the continuation of My Hero Academia Season 6! Really enjoying Spy X Family and Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War. Hulu is doing a readaptation of Trigun using a new art style and story telling perspective if anyone is interested.
  18. That's a lot of words! Good stuff.
  19. 🧟‍♂️
  20. Oh I didn't realize it changes the damage. I had it in my snipe powers for the longest time on my PvP Blasters because it's another attack in the chain that can get those pesky runners if their close to the red on their health bar.
  21. Sounds like it's time to play on Indomitable.
  22. Just saw the title of the thread and thought does anyone use the instant snipe IO or is that just PvP only?
  23. There are a couple of general rules to follow with procs. Auto powers are the best placement for certain procs like Panacea or Numina. Some procs are global, and will activate when their conditions are met, think Spirit Ward slots Chance for +Absorb - it's always active, but certain conditions need mer for the effect itself to activate. Then there are damage procs and chance for effects like -res and -def, etc. These have certain proc per minute (PPM) numbers between 1 and 4.5. The higher the PPM, the higher the chance for the proc to go off in certain powers, which follow a formula based on Auto/Click/Toggle and single target, AoE and Cone targeting. When in doubt though, you can use one of the many handy PPM calculators that members of the community have made. I'm sure there is a link someone can share, but I use one that's in a spreadsheet. Let me see if I can find the link...
  24. What role does the Hulk fill? Smash! It always seemed to me that the Brute was created as a close approximation of both a Scrapper and a Tanker for Villains when CoV was released. It wasn't that interesting to me, and I never created a Brute on live because of that. The only Brute I've made on Homecoming is for farming, but that's an easy / basic character to use for a single specifically designed purpose. So to answer your question, from my perspective, the Brute Archetype has never really had a unique role as you described for the other Melee Archetypes (I'll let the fact that you didn't mention HEATS or VEATS slip by, noting that both have access to Taunt powers, similar damage output, and nearly identical damage mitigation capacity).
  25. Well I'm a few months in to earning and collecting Prismatic Aether Particles. Looking at my average drop rates, I'm getting approximately 10 a month from standard content playthroughs. I get a few drops from WSTs, randomly, and a big boost from the Halloween monsters. I've earned a total of 100 or so since launch, and I've sold most of them for a helpful profit. Knowing the intended use of these items, I'm satisfied with the costs of each costume tier. I would like these Prismatic Aether Particles to be dropped from other content more readily, perhaps from seasonal content.
