I don’t believe you read my post. I asked what you are upset about if nothing is changing. I already understand that you think nothing will change; I’m asking why a non-change is your hill to die on? It’s a very strange stance to me and I sincerely don’t understand it.

The whole “nothing is really changing so this change must be argued against day and night” argument isn’t very convincing. You are not acting like someone who thinks nothing is changing. You are acting like someone upset with impending change. And the “it doesn’t need to change anything, it’s bad just because it’s a waste of the dev’s limited time” counter doesn’t really work when the real dev work is already done. What exactly are you arguing with / what exactly are you upset about? I don’t get it.

The reward merits were only added to trials to appease people that would want to convert their empyrean merits but couldn’t. So no, there would be no logical reason to roll back to Build 1 but keep the merits. The merits are a package deal with the merit change in Build 2-3.

Besides the first two and DFB? Because you can play them at level 50 with all your stuff. That’s my reason. Has nothing to do with rewards for me.

As already stated, we know from experience that it is possible to purple and boost 100+ 50’s to the teeth without ever converting a single Empyrean Merit, so it is obvious that removing that conversion won’t seriously affect new players. I agree the vet level change could arguably seen as unfair to new players though, even though I stand ready to farm Harvey Maylor’s mission if I have to.

Just my two cents: as someone with over 100 level 50’s (so I create characters right?), I do not see any of the new beta changes as making my playstyle significantly harder. You should just give the new patch a chance; it’s all very mild stuff.

67 is the number of *additional* slots you get to allocate for leveling, to clarify for whoever brought that up. As in, a 6-slotted power has 5 additional slots. I have to use a spreadsheet instead of mids and that number is burned in my brain.

I promise you that is not what will happen. Look at Dr. Aeon SF. Nobody wants to PUG the hardest difficulty. No evidence ITF will be different. If you honestly think you’re going to be forced into something difficult, my best guess is you haven’t actually played the game since Dr. Aeon SF went live.

Meh, people don’t want that kind of explanation though. They want the dev diary before the patch so they can have something new to argue with in hopes of sinking the changes. I’m 99% sure not one of the people who have demanded explanations actually intend to accept said explanations.

I slot it with 6 damage procs, no Lockdown or Accuracy. Often get Vigor on TA’s to cover my Accuracy/Endurance if needed since Acid Arrow is good with 6 procs too.

Only evidence I have seen of this is within a fraction of the PvP community. You know, the one that claims to be the whole PvP community. Other than that, nope, don’t agree.

I love how no one dares allege anything specific about someone specific because they know that’ll open them up to being directly told how wrong they are. Vague allegations of illuminati involvement accomplish much more.

You forgot the third group: people that were very active PvP’ers that were and still are alienated. Pretending we don’t exist doesn’t tend to be any less alienating. I don’t believe a day is coming when other PvP’ers outside of your sub-community will be listened to, so I don’t believe I’ll be going back. So no worries. Just saying, you’re missing some of the finer details. Yes, i13 was bad. It’s the second-most alienating thing to me about the current PvP meta. Nobody disagrees with you there.
