I can’t imagine both (1) having a mountain of empyreans and (2) knowing about the merit conversion, but (3) not knowing what empyreans are actually for. Patches teach you a lot about niche corners of the playerbase I guess. Rest assured though, your empyreans are still extremely useful and valuable, though, unless you meet a whole host of other conditions too like (4) hating alts, (5) hating alternate incarnates, (6) hating ultimate inspirations, (7) hating influence, etc.

I’ve only ever ignored one person. After months of establishing a reliable pattern of completely lying about whatever they said 5 minutes prior, I deemed them unfit for fruitful discussion.

Not sure if it’s true, but I think you can even use this button on posters so full of themselves that they call people cheerleaders for disagreeing with themselves.

You guys are fucking hopeless. These are 100% proven facts: (1) We know for a fact they read and integrate feedback. (2) We know for a fact Burn was bugged. (3) We know for a fact Irradiated Ground was bugged.

Indeed most of the continuing arguments comes from one side insisting that they have an absolute right to have every aspect of their playstyle preserved throughout each patch. Of course, if you know the first thing about how MMO’s are, and have always been, developed over time, then you know this is a ludicrous position. But that’s what it boils down to.

They only ever posted that they were going to release a dev diary on the veteran level change. When that didn’t happen, the promised dev diary was no longer relevant. They DID both explain what I just explained to you AND explained the empyrean merit conversion change. I doubt you missed either explanation but maybe you did.

Narratives don’t care about your facts.

I AE farm basically every day and have never felt attacked or put down for it. People having victim complexes and warped perceptions is only a problem in the minds of those afflicted.

This poster has been on a crusade of bitterness since Page 4 hit beta. Best to take their posts with a grain of salt. They’re not a huge fan of facts 🙂

A lot of the perceptions of bias seem to come from… bias. A lot of posts get deleted even when the poster is in favor of a dev change. I’ve seen no evidence that post deletions are imbalanced based on point of view.

At least this TorduVide chap might tire out after a day or two. My stalker has been obsessed with my posts for months it feels like.

I was sort of under the impression that the problem with Brute ATO’s is things like Superior Might of the Tanker’s proc being too strong.

On alternating weekends I lead a roving gang of bandits that does, in fact, break into homes and force people to do team content at gunpoint. Don’t rule it out.

They were nice enough to give solo’ers a pathway with a reasonable rate at all. I don’t see this as a problem. Great job by them making these available to everyone.

The point of the hostless mechanic is to force your team to get involved to help you. You have everything you need to take down hostless nictus in the form of 7 teammates.
