You rejecting the widely accepted standard gaming paradigm of solo-friendly vs team-friendly archetypes is a completely separate issue.

Risk vs reward is just one variant of input vs output. You can talk all you want about how all the risk is really trivial, but, at the end of the day, the outputs per unit of input are way inflated in AE compared to the rest of the game.

Just put together an AFK build for my Spines/Fire with 381% regen, 2,080 hp, and 3 Power Transfers 🙂 excited to see how it does with the changes.

Extremely good time for non-EM or non-Bio from what I’ve seen. Fastest I’ve ever managed for sure. BTW when I did 1:14 on Ill/Cold that came out to 646 DPS. So that’s where you’re at.

He’s still right though because rebalancing an entire game around an extreme outlier would be objectively stupid.

No mids so.. Here is a Plant/Psi meteor farm build (that still needs boosters 😕 ). 45% fire defense, 75% fire resistance, not good for a whole lot else. Sitting here spamming Spirit Tree. Sometimes I have 1, sometimes I have 2. And here is one of my trappers (thinking about respec'ing this... hard to get away from Sorcery on Controllers once you've tasted it!). Those are Heal/Rech D-Syncs.

Reasonable enough. Just observing that in past focused feedback threads, devs providing explanations has never seemed to do anything to mitigate complaints. At which point it feels disingenuous to even bother asking for the explanation but oh well.

To be fair, there have definitely been a few posters that have literally staked out the position that they shouldn’t have to play any parts of the game besides AE because they… don’t like the game. So to say *no one* sees is it that way is demonstrably false.

It does. I have a KM/SR that only uses the first three attacks, AS, and the PBAoE. No Focused Burst or Concentrated Strike.

Gotcha. Admittedly I only really need my stacking Spirit Tree when farming meteors on one of my Plant/Psi doms. Take Spirit Tree if we must split the difference. But Traps is designed for being amazing at long fights and stacking is preferred for that IMO.
