You have yet to lay out the standard that would constitute proof. What clear times / differentials must be achieved for something to not “suck”? If your answer is reasonable maybe I’ll bite. If it seems ridiculous and too arbitrary I’d rather not.

Ok let me help you. You called me a liar for contradicting you when I said squishy AT’s don’t suck at soloing. You then started talking about clear times like mad, completely ignoring the fact that I never agreed to the premise that higher clear times constitute sucking. Sure, they would eventually, but only at a distant threshold. If a melee AT clears a mission in 10 minutes, and a squishy AT clears it in 10:01, 12, heck maybe 15? I’m still not sure where I draw the line at suckage. Because, again, I don’t play this game with a stopwatch constantly running. All that said, I’m not sure how you can say I’ve lied when you’ve failed to help me define sucking. This is getting awfully silly. I’d prefer you learn that maybe it’s inappropriate to shit on people and call them liars over such vague facts and assumptions, or lack thereof, but I know that’s just how you’re always going to treat me.

Ah I see where you are misunderstanding. I don’t feel that non-squishy AT’s suck at soloing so when you said they suck, I could only assume it was a personal problem. Now where was the lie? You want something a little more objective than that to support calling someone a liar you know. And, prove what? That squishy AT’s don’t suck at solo’ing? I think you’re missing the point. If I really needed to prove myself to you, I’d pick one of my best DPS squishy characters and probably follow your rules with a couple tweaks like being allowed to use the inspirations I earn in combat. The problem is I don’t want to prove myself to you. I don’t normally run a stopwatch when I play and the thought of changing that just to placate someone *who does nothing but shit on me* sounds like repugnant cuckish behavior. All a user-created (non-)problem. If the OP wants combat teleport or jaunt, he can make a perfectly effective build with it. If it’s not obvious yet, I have zero sympathy for the “but speed/leaping/fighting/leadership are mandatory” argument because reality plainly shows they are not. Yes, these are my most often picked pools too. No, that does not stop me if I want to try a different pool because that would mean either (1) I don’t reeeally want to try the different pool or (2) my thinking is highly limited and ridiculous.

This. Making the heavy hitter the set already has not feel so meh seems like the most logical first step.

Still a tiny bit exaggerated considering some of the better sentinels are still forced to do well with few procs (Fire mainly, Beam), but yes this is probably the best example. Plant Control? Trick Arrow? Pfft, top tier sets before a single proc gets involved. Sentinels on the other hand… yeah they mostly need procs. My fav damage-wise is my DP/SR/Psy with Vigor Alpha. I want to say I have 4 or 5 powers with 6 procs in that case.

I made a Mind/Rad recently with 6 procs in Terrify (5 dmg / 1 -res). Nowhere near a blaster ofc but that one power turns out pretty sexy.

Ice tank with Ageless Radial is super fun. I’m currently considering making a second one because tank addiction. May not be an offensive powerhouse to the degree of OP meta favorites Bio/Fire/Rad/Shield, but looks super cool and absolutely no shortage of mitigation.

Wow, for some reason I thought this IO was unique. Will have to look into a regen proc gimmick build somewhere. Perhaps work it into my second elec tank that’s coming up in the queue for an update/respec.

I agree that the bonuses don’t seem that consequential but they seem in lime with everything else. The bonuses should be smaller than the +regen procs , which should be smaller than the +regen powers, which are often just not that big. So unless it makes sense to buff regen power values across the board, which I’m not sure about, it doesn’t really make sense to buff the bonuses.

Every reply here is about sets that are good with procs, but not a single one appears relevant to the OP request of sets bad without procs.

Suppressive Fire (fits hold procs) and Stalagmite (chance for extra extreme damage) are better than the others here, but yeah, I’d have no problem giving these attacks reasonable base damage.

I think it needs S/T help slightly more than AoE help. Having BOTH (1) no snipe and (2) heavy hitter animation a couple of hours long puts it in perhaps last place for single target potential. AoE isn’t great, but you can make the cones work if you try. My Sonic/Time has procs in cones and Clarion Radial and the AoE could be worse I guess.
