  1. Here's my first draft on the build. Combat TP to try the in-and-out trick for Savage Leap. Doing some weird stuff with P2W travel powers, but it shakes out nicely I think: Might not stick with it. We'll see.
  2. I assumed they were all a part of the same prison complex.
  3. First, thank you for your post because now I have a new character to try. 🙏 My experiences with Savage is on a Stalker and Dominator, so I might not have the full frame of reference to provide the best info, but I'll take a swing at it and let others chime in or sharpshoot me. The tanker changes don't really affect SR's contribution to the mix, though that set is already really nice on Tankers due to how easy it is to softcap defense and allow for flexibility in your pools and secondary set. Also, Quickness paired with Blood Frenzy stacks is going to give you a nice chunk of Global Recharge at all times. I don't think Savage Leap benefits from the Tanker changes- might be wrong- but [Edit]: Savage Leap doesn't get a boost to it's massive 20ft radius, but the target cap is increased to 16, as per other Tanker AoEs. Shred and Rending Flurry look like they do, and that is awesome. Especially since you pick Shred up at 4; having a 120 degree cone that slaps 10 targets at level 4 is good for any AT, and is Superb for Tankers.
  4. Hi all, TwoZeroFoxtrot here to slightly derail the thread an point out that OP hasn't logged in since the day after posting this thread; which to now is a 15 page snarling monstrosity. What an mic drop. What an explosion walk-away. What an absolute chad. Someone nerf this guy, already.
  5. You've basically hit the nail on the head, and it comes down to: Howl: -Res Shockwave: FF Proc (and cc~ish) Siren: Damage and Sandman Heal Proc With a Pain Def, you already have access to Self Heals and AoE -Res, though in the case of the latter it's on the opposite side of the scale from Howl; more intense but less availability. So were I in your shoes I'd make a call between Howl and Siren based on maxing AoE -Res or having a decent damage cone. I'd certainly pick up Shockwave either way just to fish for FF procs to lower recharge on World of Pain, Painbringer, and Anguishing Cry.
  6. Oh well strike that then, and I suppose the +Res on Frostwork bolos Powerboost for that as well. So spam buff away!
  7. Hmmm that's a good call on netgraph, but it would have to be really odd lag. The issue I encountered persisted for several minutes, without any other indications of latency such as rubberbanding, stuttering, or sending text via chat.
  8. Also seeing this. Kind of annoying. I'm guessing they changed their security settings or something? Only other time I've encountered it was on another game forum where they had recently come under DDoS attacks.
  9. Litteral lifesaver for those leveling teams you're running where there is that one person who keeps dying. Basically keep it on a rotating bindload file along with the two def buffs. Cycle through the three when it makes sense (powerboosted vs not, etc).
  10. I do wish that trainers/icon npcs/etc didn't reject goldsider characters with their "I don't talk to people from other dimensions" dialog. That never made a bit of sense to me inside player bases.
  11. My guess? The difference between writing for a fairly original IP and one that has been firmly established with a ton of narrative baggage and retcon tangles to boot. But I stopped playing WoW after the Lich King died. That was the end of the WarCraft story for me. Might not have all the info for a proper assumption.
  12. Most missions bore me to tears. You're really only ever doing the same basic things over and over. Arcs are what make me come back to play again and again. Exception to the above are the missions which have enough deviation from the routine and pivotal moments in the arcs themselves. For example, the Dean MacArthur and Leonard arcs in Sharkhead. Probably my favorite story in the game. The 8v1 clone battles is a great mission that breaks up the usual routine (if you go for the badge). Lots of humor, serious twists, and foreshadowing for later on.
  13. Had this happen a few times so a took a video. Didn't receive any system or error messages. If you look at Tray 1, Slot 10, you'll see the power I pick pops up for a moment and then vanishes and I don't gain the level. Have tried this with other powers (Maneuvers), but so far not other trainers. The video was too large to post (82mb) even as a .gif, so it's posted in my google drive. ----- Mid-post Update: While converting the video to .gif, I went back and tried again, successfully leveling up. Whatever was causing the issue might have been do to some status effect on me or in the area, but it was not showing in my buff bar. There's no change to the powers I'm seeing represented there. ----- Character: Secret Police Global: @TooZeroFoxtrot
  14. "Tops with Skins" is basically the regular tops (mesh?) with patterns enabled. It's just that you can't a) select the pattern and b) the pattern is what's letting you see your character's skin tone in the parts that are "showing." So the trick is first creating a means by which you can have two patterns running at the same time. At that point, you can pattern anything with a design, though the "tights" category would get 2 patterns you could layer versus the "tops with skin" only seeming to get one.
  15. Seems like a suggestion we can all get behind. . ... ..... Okay but bad puns aside, being able to do something like this on a jacket would rule: (Artist is @belgeist on Twitter)
  16. .5 seconds. But that tax to get an inferior pool power? That lasts forever.
  17. I don't have a dog in this fight but just for everyone's awareness, Combat Jumping gives mag 8 Immob protection, on top of being a very low-endurance mobility and defense tool. An easy patch if you feel like missing out on burn for Immob protection is a deal breaker.
  18. Recently put the following out to pasture: Content Sister Seismic
  19. Are you suggesting they buff Regen?!
  20. It's the character I mained when I played Live*. Just too pleased with myself at her design, even if I get bored with her gameplay. Didn't help when I started roleplaying her. Or badging her. Or commissioning a bunch of art. Just made me more committed. I've got a few other characters I really like. Mostly because of the stories I could tell about them. But Glyphica is my 'it'. *except she was a Brute on live and a Tanker here, though same powers. It would end up being an auspicious divergence.
  21. I did just a bit of testing back in beta and liked Fire, Dark, and Elec best (at 50, solo). Fire: Ranged ST champ Dark: Survivability Elec: Voltaic Sent is a pet that attacks independent of you and I liked slotting the damage/endmod sets into the elec ranged attacks for their recharge set bonuses. Plus the chance to get End back is helpful. I'm sure others have better suggestions. This was just my rough take, as I quickly moved on to Trollers for this set.
  22. What like... sundown?
  23. Depends case-by-case, but generally speaking I just like having it available to use elsewhere. I'm a very mobile melee player, so powexectoggleon is more than sufficient to keep both powers activated on cooldown.
  24. My recommendation: Crossbind Practiced Brawler to W Crossbind Hasten to A,S, & D. This should ensure you always have both up at all times. /bind w "+forward$$powexecauto Practiced Brawler" /bind s "+backward$$powexecauto Hasten" /bind a "+left$$powexecauto Hasten" /bind s "+right$$powexecauto Hasten" Alternatively if you want to put your autocast elsewhere, you can use powexectoggleon instead of powexecauto. This is what I prefer to do.
  25. Well. I can't pretend to know the original design intent, but it seems pretty clear to me that Freakshow are in a graduated tier of enemies that players are set to encounter in the 20-40s (primarily) that were designed to challenge semi-complete power builds and demonstrate where some builds and ATs shine versus others. For example, if you were playing a claws/invul scrapper, you were set to have a bad time. Lots of S/L resist, end drain, and the aforementioned heals and rezzes. Frustrating. But as an Energy/Energy hover blaster? Heyyyyy, what's the big deal? These guys take a pounding from Energy, and they can't heal when they're stunned or on their butts! ----- I think these principles still basically apply. Freaks don't really do much that's especially threatening, so it's fine they're a bit of a chore to fight. That's their niche.
