  1. I do have a base for my personal SG, but it's pretty bare bones. An entrance room, a teleporter hall, a medic/inspiration bay, and a crafting/storage area. I did do the bare minimum to lay it out rather than having just One Big Room... But yeah, it just barely misses being One Big Room. There's no decorative items whatsoever. I eternally plan to do something more with it, but then something I'd rather do (such as a dentist's appointment) catches my attention and so I never get around to it. This is partly due to actual lack of interest, partly due to how annoying the editor is. I don't PvP and have no interest in PvP and so have no opinion beyond "whatever you do, don't muck up bases for the majority to appease the very loud minority". Let them jump through the hoops. What I'd like to see in the future... The ability to build smaller bases! Everything is so. darned. huge. (Even the basic building square/cube is sized for a Titan.) I always feel like an ant.
  2. No, it doesn't work like that. What was leaked (which, AIUI, was not complete) is what we have. Creating a "Issue x" server (where x<24) would require ripping out huge portions of the existing code and replacing much of it with code written from scratch.
  3. I'm enjoying the heck out of it... dat cliffhanger tho... My Hero Academia, definitely solid. But Spy X Family, the first cour was way better than the second. But I'm told it gets better soon.
  4. My watchlist for the season: Bofuri 2 Buddy Daddies * Ippon Again * Tsurune - Linking Shot UniteUp!* * indicates shows that are still on probation, will be re-evaluated after ep3 and again at mid season. Buddy Daddies in particular is headed for the chopping block unless Ep3 improves considerably. Overall, not a very impressive season... Unless you're a rabid fan of cookie cutter isekai and vapid rom-coms. Definitely looking forward to Dr Stone: New World. I dropped One Punch Man just a few episodes into the second season and have no plans to catch up and return.
  5. Update from the Discord (all times PST):
  6. I don't know if this is an actual bug, or related to the server instability reported on the Discord an hour or so ago... There's a mismatch between the various displays of server status: Here is the status as shown on the forum status tracker, which matches the status shown on the launcher: Here is the status as shown in-game: Just FYI...
  7. Tomorrow! Tomorrow! More Maple Tomorrow!
  8. While I wouldn't go so far as to say "persecution"... Yah. People see the pattern they want to see. (And most don't understand random or probabilities in the first place - casinos make big bucks off of that lack.)
  9. I think I first heard something like it back in the 80's in reference to Phil Collins' Sussudio...
  10. I always recommend skipping Index... It's not a prerequisite for Railgun and trying to keep track of it's internal mythology and ever shifting factions gives me a headache.
  11. Also, not to be too nitpicky, anime isn't a genre - it's a medium like movies or TV.
  12. If you're into superheroes, My Hero Academia is an obvious entry point. A Place Further Than The Universe is a stunningly good coming of age story. Flying Witch is a fun slice-of-life/comedy. Laid Back Camp is a VERY fun relaxing slice of life. Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato is a very good reboot of the 1974 series, well worth watching. Dr Stone is... very much it's own thing, and pretty darned good SF(ish). ERASED... is mostly a character drama, but there's a couple of SFish twists and I can't say more without spoiling. That's some of the best-of-the-best IMO.
  13. In a City filled with walking weapons of mass destruction and which routinely experiences invasions of various walking and flying weapons of mass destruction - a rocket crashing is about the least of their worries. /s
  14. To me thematically, it feels more like it wants to be a defense set not a support set.
  15. Perfect for min/maxers... which leaves me a little uncomfortable.
  16. My understanding is that pets have Super Leap (a purely vertical travel ability with zero horizontal speed) rather than Super Jump (which inherits the player's horizontal speed).
  17. Yep, there it is. A post telling it like is, a post pointing out what people refuse to grasp. The problem is that farming is so lucrative, so remunerative, it's distorting the economy and distorting gameplay. And that you can't fix that by instituting fees for other in-game activities. Attempting to do so, due to farming's high rewards and low risk, will invariably lead to yet more farming. (By those who don't bail outright.) The end result is the situation is worse then before you started. A solution that fails to address the actual problem is not a realistic solution. And it's not one sided to turn a hose on the seat of a fire. It's the only realistic solution.
  18. Why then didn't you propose other ways of reducing the amount the inf being generated rather than proposing a raft of incentives to increase farming? To cause people to seek out ways of increasing their income? This is... utter and complete nonsense. If the issue is wealth generation, then the solution is to address wealth generation. I mean, if my roof leaks, my absolute first priority is to stop my roof from leaking. I don't run around pulling down and replacing drywall and pulling up and replacing flooring while continuing to let water pour in. As far as "they're targeting an activity many enjoy"... Please, point me to one single change that prevents them from farming. Just one. You can't, because there haven't been any. You are not being punished, you are not being penalized. If you enjoy farming, have at it. Farm to your heart's content. There's absolutely nothing to prevent you from doing so. I did read, and I pointed out where you were wrong. And I'll do so again... Prismatics are utterly and completely irrelevant to the discussion. Prismatics don't introduce inf into the economy, they take inf out of the economy via market fees and shift inf between players. Drops are not the issue here.
  19. Your claim is trivially falsified by comparing it to the Dev's statement as to the map where the bulk of the influence entering the game is coming from. (Hint: It's not a task force map.)
  20. Recently one of the dev's revealed that 80% of the influence entering the game was generated on a single map - the Shivan Fragment. The map used in many farms, particularly the famous ComiCon arc AE farm. That's exactly what the farming changes are attempting to address. That, compared to other avenues, it's so lucrative and so remunerative that people feel they have to farm in order to keep up... Creating a destructive self reinforcing feedback loop. The Devs don't care if you farm (I don't either) - but they do care about the massive imbalance that's turning the City of Heroes into the City of Farmers.
  21. Why? I mean seriously, why? None of those groups have the potential to damage the economy or tilt the balance of gameplay that farming does. There's no possible economic argument for taking a look at them.
  22. Pay attention and be prepared To do it right The super thing's the thing That makes you bigger than life
  23. Never hurts to bring issues to the dev's attention! My reply was meant to be informational, not to shut you down.
