Make long-range teleport points a P2W buyable?
UltraAlt replied to hollow effigy's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Are you using the yellow icon or the green one? I never use the yellow/gold one. The Green one always shows me the zone as being unlocked after one exploration is found in a zone (and you can get TIPS for the explore badges now if you fight (enough) enemies on the street in a zone <- but I'm sure you knew this part.) -
Make long-range teleport points a P2W buyable?
UltraAlt replied to hollow effigy's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Nope. Just one one zone accolade for the unlock of the transporter (or buy it at the P2W) and one exploration badge per zone as @srmalloy said. I always unlock it in Atlas. My original path was from the old base portal in Atlas which was moved. At this point, after getting my character setup once they have zoned in and I've going to get all my P2W stuff (which includes one of the non-combat flight powers), I then start in the south inside of the vanguard building (in the south on the map below. enter, go up the stairs to the left and go a little more left at the top), fly to top of the globe, fly into City Hall (get the one on the left just before the Supergroup Registry desk and then downstairs down the hall, last door the right, all the way back, to in front of the Warbug? entrance), back out of City Hall, to the top of city hall (near the flag), down in front of the Hero Corps guy standing near the base portal, then (altering from the red line) up to the badge marked 1 (in the far north; lower roof facing east near the antennae ) and then to badge marked as 2 in the east (look for the Water tower on the building, lower rooftop far southwest corner along the edge of the roof). It usually goes pretty fast. I go this route now as the next place I go is to the Pocket D - on the East side of City Hall there is a truck with Pocket D fliers on it (and on the ground I think). If you don't have a supergroup base, just yell out in /help and some will give you access to a base that you can use at any base portal. Most bases have access to all the zones in the game that you would normally have access to. The only other ones that I bother unlocking are: Pocket D - on the hero side, go into the room where the monkey fights are held. Go up the steps. Go directly back to the couch at the far wall. It's on the floor Steel - I take the tram to the north. Exit out of the tram and go out the back way away from the entrance. Travel pretty much directly back. See a statue a little to the right. The badge is between the statue's feet. Talos - from the tram, go across the street and up the hill. It's on the top more to the far left hand side of the top if you are heading from the tram. Peregrine Island - from the base portal, head into the middle Portal Corps building. The badge is in the metal/mutant/alien/magic energy detector (don't set off any alarms! just kidding, sort of ....) Pretty much, I use the SG base portal to get everywhere I need to go. The ones above are the only zones that I might have a need to get to quickly. Pocket D - to get to the P2W vendor Steel - drops you right off where Posi 1 and Posi 2 start. Talos - It's the nexus. It drops you directly in front of the Tram. Peregrine - because the Tram doesn't link to it. -
I find this funny. If you looked up "Gypsy" on the internet just a couple of years ago, it said the exact opposite. I think I even found videos on youtube where Roma in America prefered the use of the term "Gypsy". It seems that it is becoming increasingly objectionable in America recently. I just did a search to check what it is saying now if I search for "is gypsy a bad word in america". Top of my search is: "Europeans used the word “gypsy” as a racial slur throughout these centuries to justify the discrimination and persecution of the Roma people." "It is estimated that there are one million Romani people in the United States. They known as American Gypsies." - https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romani_Americans#:~:text=It is estimated that there,They known as American Gypsies. I agree that there seems to be some rampant word "connotation" changes recently. Lately, some seem to be good at (actively) attempting to take control of words and altering their meanings. Thanks.

I agree with this as well. I don't even know when I last heard any term for alternate sexual preferences used in a derogatory manner in real life/out on the streets/shopping, but I'm pretty much a hermit at this point. This being said, sometimes it is greater to side with caution. This gaming community is much more accepting of practically anything when compared to many gaming communities (and real life communities when it comes down to reality).

I can't speak to how "most" other people control their toons other than to say "mouse and keyboard". Though I do use a mouse and keyboard, I mainly control my characters with ...

I'm probably a good bit older than you, but "queer" was used as an insult to people and some used it as profanity in the past. Using the word to embrace one's sexuallity wasn't "a thing". Times change, but simply because someone has decided to embrace a word that was used against people in a derogatory manner does not mean that it still isn't being used by others in a derogatory manner. If you want to turn the profanity filter off, then feel free to do so. I want you to be free and I hope you enjoy your life, but this borders on being political.

That's the whole point of those rewards. They are meant to funnel players into that content in order to get the related rewards.

They shouldn't be seeded. If they are "rewards", you should have to "earn" them.

My hope is that some day good arcs/stories in the AE are brought into the actual game. Want a faction? Build one in the AE, write missions around it, and have some fun with the kind of content you want to see in the game. How about checking out the ninja stuff that is already in the AE and telling us what you think about it? Are any of the existing Ninja AE stuff any good? What do you think would improve it?

Homecoming player count: a year in review
UltraAlt replied to macskull's topic in General Discussion
If you are sure of that, you are quite wrong. If it doesn't apply to 50s as well, then I am for doing away with the name release policy altogether. -

You know what I'm saying. You are trying to belittle it, but it doesn't change the point. People park their characters in the AE door-sitting and go do other stuff. Some people apparently automate their farming characters so they can go AFK to powerlevel AFK doorsitters. My translation is: "Well, how dare you say that my level 50 should be renamed if your lowly sub-level 50 would be renamed under that same situation. I have an attachment to my level 50!" What you are assuming is someone that has a character that is level 25 or below that may be xp-locked to that level for one reason or another doesn't have as much or more "attachment" to a character as someone that power-leveled a character to level 50. Who should be more upset? Someone that spent 5 hours actually playing a character that was AFK-doorsat to 50 or someone that played 40-50 hours on character that isn't 50? Does being 50 give you some kind of increased connection to a character simply because they are level 50 regardless of how you got there? My points are valid. I don't see your counterpoints beling valid at all. Your counterpoint goes directly back to the superiority of level 50's characters simply because they are level 50. Attachment to a character has nothing to do with the level of the character. Great. I don't like the policy the way it is written. Then you are part of the reason that a renaming policy is needed. You are part of the problem. You are making that clear. -

Not true. The system is active, but they haven't started reclaiming names as far as I know. (link the post if the DEVs said that they have started the renaming process) is probably relatively low, unless they just blitzed a ton of toons to 50 in that week. It's not hard with multiboxing, farms, and doorsitting is it? I only have a couple characters that are level 50. I don't intend on leveling any more to 50. I prefer the lower levels. I keep up with logging my characters in case the policy goes into effect. If they are going to rename characters below 50, then level 50 characters should be open to renaming as well. It isn't like it was on live. We are not subscribers. People get to 50 in a couple of hours. It is no big challenge to get to level 50. If you can't log your level 50 in once a year and the policy goes live, it should get renamed the same as any other character. -
I have to say that I loved the Flash 1990s TV show, but I had already been a Flash fan for a long time at that point. I stumbled on to this :: I haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but Secret Galaxy tends to do some good research on stuff they cover.

I'm there with you on that one.

Have you checked the AE to see if there are any ninja story arcs in there? ---- Below links to the First Season of Sonny Chiba's Shadow Warriors ----

@Raikao I think you intend to mean that placing an item at 1 (or 5 to avoid loss due to the transaction fee) influence is only a risk if you intend to make a profit off of the item. That is to say, if you are just trying to get something out of inventory, and you don't care what it sells for, you might as well put it at a lowest sales price. That is done to not only get it out of your character's inventory but also to move it through the auction house slot as quickly as possible.

...doesn't match up to the Wentworth's page for some reason. https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Wentworth's_Fine_Consignments vs https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Auction_House I guess the term Wentworth's, Black Market, and whatever the "Market" on the side-that-shall-not-be-named was was named became outdated when the influence, infamy, and information all merged into one currency (which is influence or just inf ... as far as I know). Thanks. I haven't checked out the info at a Wentworth's rep since back on live. I have only talked to them a few times on Homecoming. I can't remember if it was before or after I found out about /ah or not.

The helmets and German names goes a long way toward the connection. I can't see there being no connection at all. I'm sure Jack "the Statesman" Emmert knew that connection would be seen even if he tried to brush it off to the others he was working with. Have to look for the helmets here as the footage is a bit muddy, but the use of the helmets here on the Philistines seems intentional .... They put a cloth underneath it the trails down the back of the neck, but, still, the helmets
