Day Job Icon not showing up on characters made 5/17

It wouldn't just be one click. It would take a right mouse in areas of the screen where one wouldn't normally be making right mouse clicks ... and then a left mouse click in a specific location of the screen in a window. It seems highly unlikely that would occur. However in my case, it happened to two new characters and not on existing ones. I did resave my settings recently but that was because I needed to update the positions of trays, pet window, salvage window, AH window, email window, and email replay window, and tried yet again to save the keybind key for keymapping of "cancel power" (which never saves) - however, I didn't tweak any of the Windows settings. I simply made sure all the trays and windows were where I wanted them to be (trays were already in position simply resized and moved the position of some windows), change the keybind for "cancel power" yet again (which turns off the "auto fire" power if you have one selected), and saved. I didn't change any of the Windows options, so I have no idea how it would have happened in my case. -

Day Job Icon not showing up on characters made 5/17

So weird. So yeah, that did it. I found the option in Menu>Options>Windows>Status Window Display>Hide Auto Powers. I know for sure that I didn't go in there and change and save it, so I have no idea why that changed unless it was something the DEVs added - like showing the (incredibly annoying) floating coin over the heads of contacts. Oddly enough, just below "Hide Auto Powers" is "Blink Near Expiration". That was turned off. I know for sure I didn't turn that off either. I had to fiddle with both of them to get them to save. They kept reverting back. But now I'm wondering if there was a change that made Day Job powers considered to be auto-powers and they weren't considered to be auto powers before. -

@lemming (sorry, should have quoted you. really tired and falling over ... posting on the way out) So far standing near a base portal. Got the badge the icon never showed up that I was standing within range. Moved to the hospital today and I don't see it there either. Also the x2 XP isn't showing up nor the powers that you get at the end of the DFB. I can see both in my powers windows list, but they aren't showing up under the target window with my primary and secondary power (those show up). I don't even think there is an option setting that I could have tweaked by accident. I'm assuming if I can't see it on either of those two, that I'm not going to see it on any of the other ones. I know where to stand to get pretty much all day job badges. And getting the one or for standing near a base portal, I was obviously in range in order to get the Dayjob Badge. Honestly, I've never had an issue getting the Mortician Dayjob nor seeing the Dayjob icons before. It's just on these two new characters. -
I don't have a problem with it if it is character conception, but I'm not concerned with the end-game.

Most Embarrassing "Missed Attack" Animation?

Oh, I thought you were talking about powers that "missed" their animation. My peacebringer is constantly getting no animation when using Incandescent Strike. They just stand there and the sound and damages happens. -

I have a couple of new characters made on 5/17. When they are near the area for a Day Job, the Day Job icon isn't showing up. I really even had to fiddle with one of the two characters I made to get the message that they had found their first Day Job. I went back and checked the most recent character I made before then - back on 4/26 - and I can see the Day Job Icon when they are near a Day job area. I even moved away from a Day Job area and back to make sure that the icon would return. I'm unsure what would have changed between 5/17 and 4/26 that may have caused this issue.

I commented that they probably already have been. I would be something that I would like as well, but a suggestion is just a suggestion. The DEVs decide what they want to work on. I responded to both your posts as they seemed to be more of an attack against whoever than anything else. I'm glad that you are having a good day. I need to take a nap. I'm getting tired. I didn't comment on those, but I see that @Herotu did. I missed that you had been replying to them instead of the OP. More tired than I thought. Been pushing myself too much it seems. My bad in not seeing that you were responding to @Herotu and not @DanaDark

I think it has been already. it's been requested now by @DanaDark if not before (and I'm pretty sure it already has been and I replied to that thread as well) This seems easier to to implement then creating the blitz travel/sprint-mode animation as the flight pose emotes already exist. Player picks a flight pose emote to use when they are flying the same way that they pick a travel/sprint mode option in the tailor currently. Possibly have the option to have it on when in hover or only when flight is on. Either way have it activate when the character moves like the current flight/hover animation already does. It's always up to the DEVs what they are going to do. Players should always feel free to make suggestions. Demanding that the DEVs do something is out-of-line from my point of view. A request or idea isn't a demand; they are suggestions. No. That is why there is a Suggestion and Feedback subforum. I've seen you use it before. I hope your day gets better.

I would have to say that Ice and Dual pistols have been my go-to's as of late. I also like Energy and assault rifle, but I'm a character conception player so I've ended up making more ice and dual pistol. Of course, there is Storm Blast - which I feel is a bit OP. I've built 3 recently because they are the FOTM. 2 for teaming with my usual teammates and one for use with PUGing. 2 character conceptions spawning off the same basic character with different power sets (one moving off of Ice Blast to Storm Blast and one moving from Water Blast and Electrical Blast to Storm Blast) 1 new character conception that I had a basic idea of what I wanted to do powerwise, but didn't have a solid character conception until some randomizing and tweaking in the character creator (as per usually, I had a fleshed-out version of the character and bio done before leaving the character creator and entering THE CITY). I have fun with Archery, but they tend to get looked down on by teams. Not really, but as indicated above ... I think that archery is looked down upon by teams. Maybe it is just a gut feeling that I have. I have fun playing archers just as much as any other blast set. I just enjoy playing the game in general. Power sets and powers really don't make a huge amount of difference to me. I jump characters quite a bit, but I guess a favorite blast mix of late is one where I can have ? Blast and martial arts. I have a lot of fun using ki push to soft hold enemies and or pin them to a wall and alternate blasts on them between autofire ki pushes. I really like the bullet-time animation on ki push as well. I'm unsure if you are talking about new power sets or power customization. I'm thinking a squirt gun would just be a power customization for water blast; shoulder mounted mini-guns for dual pistols and, possibly, assault rifle. I've posted it before, but I would like to see a shuriken power customization for archery. Blazing arrow substitutes in the Molotov cocktail from the thug mastermind minions. Explosive arrow to a hand grenade. Stunning shot to ninja smoke bomb. A pistol power customization for beam rifle would be cool. Wands and staffs have often been brought up for blast power customization. I can't argue with either of those for the mystically inclined. I could see power customization for ice, fire, and sonic with a pistol or rifle. So ... this lead me to think about chest blasts. I mean, we have some eye beam attacks, but no chest blasts like ... ... but quickly that turned into looking for the blast set for ... GIANT ROBOTS!!! No lie, I've been a giant robot fan since before Transformers made it big States-side. So there are a bunch of stuff that would be fun for giant robots, but I know we are sticking more to Western side comics for the most part ... ... but back to Mazinger Z as a set option.... I'm not expecting the City of Jack Kirby Giants were these giant mecha would fit in, but just human sized versions. That Microman/Micronauts could fit in. (Yes, The Microman action figures fit inside of the Kaiju costumes for Megalon and Jet Jaguar!) The rocket fists are cool and would just reappear on the character when the power was recharged - versus flying around and reattaching which is cool as Thor's hammer returning to Thor after he throws it.... Smaller multi-fire arm-stump rockets... Chest blast Rust Hurricane aka Atomic Hurricane I can understand bypassing the Mazinger crotch rocket ... ... not to be confused with rockets that Aphrodite A carries (which should be bypassed as well... ... ah, well, it is not to be, but still, even so ...... I think they are fine. I hear some complaints about the range for sentinels, but they have armor to make up for the loss of range, and there are enhancement sets that can increase range. thanks for leading these discussions.

I apologize. I see nowhere in your initial post that your intent was to create a character for the end-game only. If you had indicated that you were considered with a end-game character, I wouldn't have bothered replying. What you call "low levels" is the actual game. I think you answered your own question for use of scourge in the end-game.

Reducing an enemy's defense increases your chance of hitting them. I like being able to land my attacks when I use them. Why waste endurance? The one that best fits your character conception. The corruptor secondaries aren't crafted to do damage, so you're going to get little use out of scourge out of any corruptor secondary. Defender force fields are stronger than corruptor force fields (at the same time, Defender attacks are weaker than Corruptor attacks). Either way, the force field set powers are largely for your allies. As you level up you will get some that will protect you to some extent as well, but the ones that you can cast on your teammates are much more powerful.

Titan weapon as a rune sword. So, obviously, the https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Sorcery pool. I would suggest a Dark Armor/Titan Weapon Tank. Why a tank instead of a scrapper? More "magical" protection. Elric often summons elementals for protection.
