  1. Ok, I apologize. That's surprising to me!
  2. I am leveling a Gravity/Arsenal Assault. The synergies are great because of Knockback! Propel + Buckshot, followed by An AOE Hold is sweet. I put FF Procs everywhere I can asap. This combo means a lot of recharge and early, which is what you want on a Dom. The Melee strikes are great too. It's easy to dispatch pesky Sorcerers quickly. Like any other grav build, I leave off crushing field until later in the build because it's just an aggro magnet if it's your opener. Wormhole is a decent opener though. Gonna enjoy setting up mines in solo missions, and learning to buckshot and propel mobs into mines behind them.
  3. Given an elbow strike in the real world is most definitely single target, what a silly idea.
  4. I think you have drank too much fluoride and boofed too many quartz crystals.
  5. Started a new Dom with the Paragon Protector costume stuff! Grav/Arsenal Assault Dom named "Paragon Prolapser". 🙈 He will NOT be slotting any Sudden Accs. FF +rech Procs and Hasten...2 great kb cones early on...rifle butt power hit like a truck. Solo'd to 22 tonight and it was great.
  6. I'm glad that idiots are putting themselves out in the open. That didn't use to happen so often, except whenever an AR/EM blaster stood next to the Tank and power punched his target across the room. Wonder who that idiot was? Oh right, it was me.
  7. I thought I would give the forums a run down on my latest creation…an archery/storm Corruptor. Dodgy Weather has been a concept in my head, and a character that I leveled quickly on a farm, and then parked for a few years. I haven’t had access to mids in a long time (I’m on a Macbook), so I’m sharing a power breakdown here, to see if anyone has any interesting tweaks. As it is, I’m quite happy with what he does and how he plays. I didn’t see many archery corrs on the forums, and I didn’t see ANY Archery/Storm. I know it’s not the most meta, min-max build but here’s a rough breakdown of a few stats, plus some explanations on power picks. The recharge in combat is ridiculous, and easily able to drop three lightning storms during Manticore’s last AV fights.I’m stealthy so that’s good, but I’m also pretty dang tough. Wishlist: If there was a way to add some hold resistance into this build without a major sacrifice elsewhere, then I’m all ears. I would also gladly skip Snow Storm for something else (Vengeance comes to mind).
  8. I never level until I have gotten the reward merits for atlas, sold those, and gotten the amplifiers. All three. They are cheapest at level 1 and well worth it.
  9. Thanks for an explanation of the most basic aspect of the game. Been playing since live in '04. I get it, jumping is hard. Just like aiming, which requires so much...oh wait. You don't have to aim you just hit the tab key.
  10. I don't know why everyone hates cones. But I would say ice/poison for the fast dpa and all the slows you can stack into attacks.
  11. Archery/Ninja/Ninja... You'll never have more fun. The ride up is challenging but you end up fairly godmode. Archery is not, as some one above said, poop. It's better than Dual Pistols when you compare the two. Honest.
  12. Ninja Mastery let's you use two Achilles procs, and Lockdown makes the hold reliable on bosses, oddly enough.
  13. Archery. Seriously. It has a perfect mix of CC with it's damage. Or my latest favorite on a Sent... Seismic. Seismic *feels* like a melee set due to the "be on the ground" mechanic.
  14. I have a Shield/Kinetic Melee tanker who is highly team oriented. It works similarly to this. Minus the hover part
  15. Hover Blasting is for wusses. There, I said it. Get in the mix. Edit... I find hover blasting super boring to play. If I'm doing anything like that it's on a defender. Hover Melee... Well that's just a bird stalker, and it's not so effective.
  16. I honestly really like this. I always wanted a hybrid of scrapper powers and defender powers in an AT.
  17. If you can't deal with cones, that's a personal problem.
  18. Calling Corruptors "like controllers with more damage" is a huge mistake.
  19. I play a Shield/Kin Melee for this reason. It's great on a team but not so great solo. It was a challenge to build a total team support guy with the most ranged attacks possible.
  20. Poison/Dark is pretty potent, just needs attention for accuracy.
  21. Combat Jumping, Infiltration, and Mighty Leap/Take Off are pretty potent together, too. Take off is like a poor man's Fly power. I love it on my tank.
