Ouch. I'm glad that Wiki articles can be easily reverted at least.
-
Agreed. I really, really enjoyed my Water Blast/Trick Arrow Corruptor. It feels so smooth in play. I look forward to playing it again once Page Three is released!

Issue 27, Page One launch back in November 2020.

@cohjess8107 just edited a half dozen Wiki articles, removing a bunch of tables which effectively gutted them. I'm curious as to why. The articles involved are Munitions Mastery, Leviathan Mastery, Mace Mastery, Mu Mastery, Soul Mastery, and Beam Rifle. Blaster isn't the only AT in the game, and the various power sets have different powers and levels on different ATs, as the Wiki articles showed until the various non-Blaster tables were removed.

Anti-Matter Perma hold in Keyes incarnate trial
Apparition replied to Mikewho's topic in Bug Reports
This was encountered again today. Just before the final fight with Anti-Matter in the Keyes Trial, the league leader had everyone in the league (I don't recall if the league was full, but if not it was nearly), use an Ultimate inspiration, then summon Lore pets, then use super red team inspirations. The idea was to kill Anti-Matter before an Obliteration beam fired. We very nearly did it... except just before Anti-Matter died, the whole league became permanently held. We kept taking damage while held, and then if we hit the hospital after dying we still remained permanently held. We all had to quit the trial to regain our freedom. It seems that Anti-Matter really, really does not like taking too much damage too quickly. -
Yep. As I pointed out in the original thread, the mission/TF/SF needs to be level 49 or below for this bug to work. Also as I pointed out, +5 (or above) really isn't worth it. It's not difficult. It's just a slog.

Dear Lord. What have I done? 😨

Yeah. Thanks, but I don't play Defenders. I made a Time/DP Defender strictly for the Barracuda SF, and I couldn't wait to strip and delete him once Page 2 went live. 😛 I played mostly red side on live, which meant mostly playing red side ATs... Brutes, Stalkers, Corruptors... and playing their blue side equivalents (Tanker, Scrapper, and Defender), just feels really off to me, even though I know that Tankers and Defenders are objectively better ATM. I'll just stick to my Rad and Dark Corruptors in the meantime for when debuffs are needed.

It makes sense. That proc comes from the hold set, and everything but the Faraday Cage part of EMP Arrow is broken, including the hold. My Water/Trick Arrow Corruptor was quickly becoming my favorite character, but it looks like I'm just going to have to keep him in stasis for a few months just like I did my Dual Pistols Blaster when Hail of Bullets was broken for seven months. Stinks, but c'est la vie.

Yesterday, it was announced that Cryptic Studios' newest online game Magic: Legends will shutter on October 31st, 2021. The game has only been in open beta for three months. Today, it was announced that there has been massive layoffs at Cryptic Studios with pretty much everyone that worked on Magic: Legends terminated. Here's hoping that everyone laid off from Cryptic Studios this week land on their feet quickly.

Known bug. EMP Arrow is broken on Corruptors, Controllers, and Masterminds. No ETA on a fix.

/setdifficultylevel x X can be -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4.

😄 Nah. That was the hot craze back in 2019 and early 2020, but those days are over now that double INF while malefactored is gone. It just wouldn't be worth it. Like I said, it was a slog, and farming is about easy rewards. The extra time investment in defeating +5s isn't worth it. I was just crazy and wanted to see if getting +7s was possible. Turns out that it is!
-
/setdifficultyteamsize x X being in this case 9999 but, as I said, any number of 9 or greater will do the trick.

The last time that the respec trials were the WSTs, I led a +4 level 34+ blue side respec trial. While in the reactor room, some of the mobs went up to +6. So it got me thinking. There is a bug in the game where if you set a level 49 or below mission to +4x9999 (or actually any team size number greater than eight), the game will get confused and make all of the mobs +5. What happens if the level 34+ blue side respec trial is ran at +5? Will some of the mobs go up to +7? I led one tonight. I had eight people, half of which were PUGs. We were all level 43, and the Freakshow in the first two missions were all level 48 or 49. That’s right, +6. When it came time for the last mission, the mobs ranged from level 48 to level 50. That’s right, +7. Here is the thing though… It actually wasn’t difficult. During the whole trial, we only had three deaths. One was me because I was completely drained of endurance by a couple of Super Stunners. There was little amount of tactics, even against +7s. It was just a slog as the mobs took forever to be kill… defeated, especially the level 50 Freakshow bosses. So for those who have been clamoring for +5 or +6… It’s possible in game now. Even +7. But all it is is a slog, not difficult nor a challenge. It’s not the way to go. Challenge will and must come from new mechanics and better use of powers by mobs.

No, just the launching screen. -
Where do I look to find about Brainstorm's status?
Apparition replied to DarknessEternal's topic in Open Beta Testing
It was stated on Discord that Brainstorm will remain down until they go back to using vRack, which will be Tuesday at the earliest. -

You can still get the Going Rogue Launcher at least by using the -uiskin 2 option. Open the Homecoming Launcher, go to Settings > Homecoming, and under "Extra Launch Parameters" add: -uiskin 2 -
Corruptors suffer the same issue Brutes do. Why play a Corruptor when you can build a Defender with better buffs, better debuffs, better defenses, and then load them up with damage procs to do even more damage than Corruptors? You either need to nerf damage procs hard (preferable), or give Corruptors an advantage over Defenders. Now whether that should be better debuffs, better damage, or something else is up for debate.
-
Ironically, Force Field is better on Corruptors than Defenders due to higher magnitude mez protection.
-
Considering that hasn't been an issue while regularly running Tinpex that way for one year on live and two years on Homecoming, I'd say that's extremely unlikely and not worth taking the time for IMO.
-
Yep, and I answered that part as well. No, it wouldn't. You're generally moving too quickly for that to be a concern.
-
No, and it would take about three or four times as long.
-
Yep. A lot of people have stopped playing on Homecoming over the past year because they can only do the same things over and over and over again so many times. Meanwhile, the players still playing have been consolidating on Excelsior and Everlasting, which is not a good thing IMO. IMO, there are simply too many people on Excelsior and people from Torchbearer and Indomitable have been moving there rather steadily for the past few months, making it worse. Ironically, I've recently mostly moved from Excelsior to Torchbearer. Torchbearer has a great community and great people. It's not as active as Excelsior (which is a good thing IMO), but it's active enough. I haven't had any more difficulty getting teams for red side content than I've had on Excelsior, and for a shard with one third the population that's saying something.
