  1. A friend of mine runs Incarnate trials one night per week on the Excelsior server. For the past two weeks, one trial per evening I did not receive a LFG prompt when the trial was ready to start. The prompt that says something like "20 of 22 are connected, yadda yadda yadda", with the green and red buttons. It didn't show at all. Both times, I was directly invited to join the first team, and saw myself in both the team and league windows. I was able to participate in league chat prior to the iTrial. Eventually, my friend would say something like, "30 seconds before we start." I sat and waited for the LFG prompt... only for it to never come, and I'll watch everyone else in the league disappear into the ether. This happened to a friend of mine as well a couple of months ago. It seems to be utterly random. It's never happened to me prior to last week (although I don't do many iTrials), and even then it's sporadic, not every trial.
  2. The whole point of the Incarnate system is that you are more powerful than a plain level 50. Nothing non-Incarnate should be +4 to you because you have moved beyond them.
  3. Dark Astoria is Incarnate content, just like Incarnate trials. /jranger
  4. This is one of the reasons why I exclusively play red side.
  5. Maintenance is done every Tuesday morning and it was announced on the Homecoming Discord server. They just forgot to announce it on the forums.
  6. I received the mission "Rescue PPD in Tunnels" from Praetor White in Nova Praetoria. I entered the mission, and encountered a door. It was obviously clickable as the mouse turned blue over it. I tried opening the door over a half dozen times, nothing. I reset the mission, entered, and opened the door this time with no problem.
  7. That's a very long standing issue. You can only get Flashback specific badges from arcs that don't have badges of their own.
  8. Either or, really. I tanked Lord Recluse on a Master MLTF using Ageless Radial Destiny, and the endurance debuff just tickled. I barely noticed it.
  9. Welcome to the nearly completely unoptimized City of Heroes codebase. It's a sixteen year-old video game using a twenty year-old codebase as its foundation, but it still can bring a state-of-the-art gaming PC in 2020 to its knees. You can throw all of the horsepower you want at it, it's still not going to run as well as some modern games that are highly optimized.
  10. A Blaster would do more damage since that is what that whole AT is about, but a DP/Kin Corruptor is pretty powerful. You're just fine with it. Scourge is your friend.
  11. Ageless Raial Destiny is your friend, Laugh as Lord Recluse tries to sap your endurance in vain.
  12. That would certainly be one way to get me to stop playing anything other than melee toons.
  13. I agree with @macskull. All of my toons take Clarion, even melee, since I routinely lead Rikti mothership raids. Then there are the Incarnate trials. All of my toons that don’t have a heal take Rebirth as well just for the healing badges. Many take Ageless, either for the endurance, or the recharge and DDR. In PvE, Barrier is entirely overkill. I have never taken it on any of my toons as I just don’t see the point. All of my characters have pre-Incarnate softcapped defenses. In Incarnate trials, I am sure that there will be at least one FF/Cold/Time Defender/Controller/Corruptor in the league. Resistance is a bit more rare, but still good enough.
  14. Awesome. I just changed the Rikti mothership raid page to Rikti Mothership Raid (Zone), and created Rikti Mothership Raid (Instance) to reflect all of the changes to the Rikti mothership raid.
  15. I encountered a new league bug this evening, while forming a league for the instanced Rikti mothership raid trial. Well, perhaps it's related to the bug in the OP. Like GM Solace suggested in the post right above, I try to keep my own team low while forming a league... four or five people. I then invite everyone to my team directly, and then shuffle them off to whatever team they're suited for. Only near the end do I fill up my own team. Tonight, after the league was created, I directly invited someone to my team, (team #1). There was a message that the person joined my team and joined the league. I went to the league window to move the person to another team. However, the person was not in the league window. He showed up on my team window, but I triple checked the league window and he was not there. I asked him to quit and re-join. He did, and then he showed up in the league window after re-joining. It's the first time after forming many, many instanced MSRs that I noticed that someone was on my team window, but not the league window.
  16. You're not the only one. The Massively OP podcast talked about this a couple of weeks ago. A couple of the hosts won't play FF 14 because of the forced dungeons, and I can't say that I blame them. Star Wars: The Old Republic certainly has its issues, but I'm glad that you can do everything except for raids/operations solo now.
  17. Just to eliminate, are you sure that both accounts are using the double XP power, and do they have the same amount of patrol XP?
  18. Negative, Ghost Rider.
  19. Welcome back! 1. Yes. Excelsior is the most populated server by far. Everlasting (the unofficial RP server), is the second most populated. 2. Only on Indomitable, which is the unofficial PvP server. 3. Yes. There are costume contests, typically held either in Atlas Park or Kallisti Wharf.
  20. Hrm, now I have to find out what day jobs, if any, are available in Precinct Five. Why yes, yes I am a masochist. Why do you ask?
  21. It depends on what power sets you want to play. If you want to play Energy Aura or Regen, Brutes it is since neither are available on Tankers. If you want to play Fiery Melee, Brutes it is 'cause you have to take Scorch on Tanker, and... ugh.
  22. What is a "good" armor secondary that would be effective with only taking six or seven powers?
  23. I have to agree with Linea. It's usually one, or the other. For taking down AVs and GMs, Beam Rifle/Rad Corruptor says, "Hello." Massive amount of -Regen, very good single target DPS, and Scourge.
  24. From the sounds of it though, it would only be in relation to Power Boost and Clarion Radial Destiny, not a straight up Time Manipulation nerf. If you don't use those two (and my Time/DP Defender build does not), then it will probably be fine.
  25. I'd go Brute since Rad is a resist armor set and Brutes can take much better advantage of it.
