  1. Wow! Big Congrats and Thanks to the team! Outstanding work!
  2. Yes, but only ... On to ep 2 later this week.
  3. Bad Ad-Hoc Hypothesis Festival ... there are a lot of these, here are two ... Infant Aerodynamics as Evolutionary Adaptation Regression Toward Cardiovascular Mean in Felis Catus via Sporadic Locomotion
  4. Destroy Boys - Audiotree Live Session; Sept. 2019, Chicago IL I neither know nor care why all of the best punk music being made right now is being made by women, but I'm absolutely down for it and these ladies are one of many examples. Best described as a what might happen if P.J Harvey and Mia Zapata (The Gits, may she RIP) had a couple children who took up their respective musical mantles. Set List: I Threw Glass at my Friend's Eyes and Now I'm on Probation Methatonin Vixen American River Cry Baby
  5. As a Card-Carrying, Day-Walking Ginger this piques my interest.
  6. One of my friends watched it and his only words were "Not Good." I'll probably watch eventually for the shiny visuals, but my expectations were pretty low to begin with. 🤣
  7. Circling back to this because I'm currently rolling through S1. I think you are right - of course if the episodes are out then I guess the answer is too and this post could be pointless ( 🤣 ), but I digress - because ... ... s1 info below:
  8. In fairness, it's also phonetically accurate, mostly, depending on how one wants to read the 'y' on its own. But whatever. TIL I've been wrong about Fiery for longer than I can remember, mostly because today is the first time I've actually given it a first thought, much less a second. 🤣
  9. If you set up a chat tab to display damage dealt, you should be seeing it as its own line item along the lines of "You did ## damage to <target> with your Firey Embrace." Easier to see with a dedicated damage tab than the default combat tab, which flies by pretty quickly. It won't show up in Combat Attributes as mentioned above, and the Powers Info in game doesn't do a good job of displaying it either. Best place to look for it is in chat display window or setup logging and check combat logs after the fact. Edit: Why in the world is it spelled Fiery? Fire isn't spelled Fier? 🤣
  10. Streaming ... eeeeeveeeeentuaaaally ... Once I get around to watching the first one I might as well watch the second one. But it will be a while, I only recently started catching up on the various Marv-sney + series. No, really. I only just finished Loki a few days ago, and only just started What If ....? (sort of going in semi-order, but I went ahead and watched both seasons of Loki because I liked it.) Yeah, I'm that far behind. 2022-23 has been ... eventful.
  11. Between 3 and 7 teammates. 😉
  12. That's a pretty loose definition of Mullet in that list. 🤣 I consider myself an expert having survived my teenage years in the late 80s in the southern half of the American Midwest. 😉 Coincidentally, I just finished my run-through of Loki (I know, I'm way behind on the DisneyVerse), and the similarities in art direction between the TVA and Clockworks/Summerland in Legion were pretty striking to me. Meaningless in the whole 'verse thing as outside of a brief scene in Deadpool 2, Legion is a complete stand-alone (and shines for it), but it was nice to see at any rate.
  13. Traditionally Stalker/Scrapper secondary powers weren't granted critical hits on purpose. Burn used to crit for Stalkers, but never did for Scrappers; similarly both Quills and IG will crit, but armor based auras like Death Shroud et al will not. (Tangent - this has always mildly annoyed me seeing as how those powers benefit from Brute's Fury meter as well as recent AoE radius buffs to Tankers). The mold was broken for Brimstone's fire damage "proc," which I had hoped would mean a sea change, but signs point to that not happening. Probably worth asking if this change was intended when Burn was re-structured. Last time I looked at it in CoD it did have tags for Stalker's "team crit" bonus, but those references are no longer there. It is possible that the crit chance was removed to bring it in line with the Scrapper version, but I really have no actual idea. Bug report thread? 🤷‍♂️
  14. They've been milking that Bat Boy story for at least 40 years. 🤣
  15. Generally speaking, objects that can't be teleported from their location aren't target-able with Leap. Generally ... it is sort of a mixed bag. 🤣
  16. Shouldn't be too tough. You can use either a bind or a macro, the "cc" command (or "cce" if you want to use a costume change emote), and the "$$" operator to tack the costume change onto the power execution. They'll look slightly different as Shield Charge is a location power and Savage Leap is a targeted power. Easiest is to use "powexec_location target ..." with shield charge to skip clicking on the location reticle, but that's a matter of choice. I like to target my Shield Charge and bind it to one of the thumb buttons on my mouse. For Savage Leap I just move the icon to a location in my tray that is triggered by a thumb button. First take a look at this post for more info on macro icons and costume stuff, as doing this with wings/flight is a regular ask: For your purposes, replacing the Flight toggle commands with "powexec_location target Shield Charge" and just "powexec_name Savage Leap" (edited) while keeping everything after the "$$" the same should work. Assuming here that you want to swap costume A with Charge and costume B with Leap. This is a great thread on binds/macros in Homecoming in general.
  17. Setting aside the issues of wildly over-powered toons that could be created by picking/choosing even from just a pair of sets, there is a [Standard Code Rant] issue that hasn't been mentioned. If someone combines powers from Street Justice and Dual Blades, then there are two different combo systems that would have to be written to interact with each other - or at least to not conflict. Combining Psi Melee and Savage leads to a similar problem with Insight and Blood Frenzy (stacks). If someone takes Dual Pistols and Assault Rifle powers, does the ammo choice for DP apply to the AR attacks. Armor sets have similar issues - Bio Armor's adaptations, for example, how would they interact if someone takes Bio armor powers with Shield Defense powers? Even if those are restricted to only affect powers from the original set, there could still be [Standard Code Rant] issues if the two sets are invoking the same kFlags or other attributes to do different things within their respective set. Dropping the mechanics from the sets doesn't seem worth doing, and also invokes [Standard Code Rant] as well. Kudos to the other server for putting something like this together, but I don't see it fitting the vision for Homecoming and the devs have plenty on their hands that does fit the vision around these parts.
  18. Interesting. I figured it was produced in Canada - a lot of SyFy's shows were/are. I don't remember what service I used when I watched it. Looks like it isn't anywhere that IMDB thinks it is, at least not in full. Shame. Fun show. HJK gets to play a much more fully-written character than she was given in the second Ant-Man movie. Waste of her talents that role was.
  19. I might make jokes, but I won't judge - plenty of folks I know enjoyed the series. 😉 Besides, I'm the guy who keeps telling everyone they should watch Killjoys which arguably has some big flaws, especially technical/sfx related ones in season 1. 😄 Still a great show though.
  20. I don't know what you are all talking about. There was only one Highlander movie. 😉
  21. Ep 1. of Monarch has captured my interest. Love the "health and safety" Godzilla signage all over Tokyo. Fantastic bit of set dressing on their part. Mostly setup for the main cast and some backstory bits from "1959." Some footage from the Golden Gate scene in the Godzilla movie with one of the leading ladies from the show in context - I don't remember her from the movie but that doesn't mean anything as I've only seen it once a decade ago, lol. Haven't seen either of the Kong or the G vs. K movie either, but I might give them a watch over the winter break before continuing the series. Tangent for @Techwright since there isn't a thread for it specifically: Foundation was a fantastic watch, definitely recommend. I have no context for divergence from the books, but my understanding is quite a bit. Lee Pace (Ronan the Accuser from GotG 1) makes a wonderful baddie, and the rest of the cast are quite good in their roles as well. I have a couple complaints about the use of/sudden removal of Plot Armor when it comes to Epic Spacing Scenes - but The Expanse spoiled me on realism/consistency in Epic Spacing Scenes - so I let it slide.
  22. In the era of companies racing to develop gen-AI, loads of people experimenting with autonomous agents in simulations, and self-driving vehicles a Knight Rider reboot could take on a quite different tone than the original. Could be interesting, but could also be phoned-in and lean too much on the nostalgia factor for my taste.
  23. ... 19 ... words fail ... My heartfelt condolences to her family and friends. 🕯️ 🕯️ 🕯️ 🕯️ 🕯️ 🕯️ 🕯️ 🕯️ 🕯️ 🕯️ 🕯️ 🕯️ 🕯️ 🕯️ 🕯️ 🕯️ 🕯️ 🕯️ 🕯️
