The correct amount of Fake Money Units = n + 1. No, wait, sorry, that's for motorcycles. 🏍️ Carry on you crazy kids. 🤣

In reference to the above spoiler tagged comments, my own "Grumpy Old Man" thoughts:

Ditto. Only reason I even know it is a thing. 🤣 Separate the Wheat from the chaff? 😉

My latest iteration of Combat Teleport and Teleport binds (with a utility slot bind), where BUTTON4 and BUTTON5 correspond to the thumb buttons on my mouse: BUTTON4 "powexec_location target combat teleport" SHIFT+BUTTON4 "powexec_location target teleport" BUTTON5 "powexec_alt2slot 9" SHIFT+A "powexec_location left:35 combat teleport" SHIFT+D "powexec_location right:35 combat teleport" SHIFT+S "powexec_location back:35 combat teleport" SHIFT+W "powexec_location forward:35 combat teleport" MOUSECHORD "powexec_location cursor combat teleport" SHIFT+MOUSECHORD "powexec_location cursor teleport" "alt2slot 9" is the upper-left-most slot in the default tray if 3 trays are visible. On this particular toon that is Earth's Embrace (Fire/Stone/Blaze Stalker). I use that slot for various things depending on the toon. Have not found a need for a SHIFT+BUTTON5 on that guy, but I might have done on some earlier toons.

Went ahead and double-checked these settings moments ago to confirm my memory. Nothing should be sending me an email from any activity what-so-ever. All of the options available are set to not do so. The few things I have setup to notify should only do so by marking the globe at the top of the page on these forums. Automatic following is (always has been) turned off. Turns out I had been following four ancient threads each with no activity in double-digit months; they are no longer being followed just in case. 🤷♂️ 🍻 Will update this thread in the event I receive another email about it. 🤣

Amigo The Devil - Hungover In Jonestown A recent discovery courtesy of one of my Pandora stations. Immediately placed upon my short-list of Very Favorite Lyricists. ~~ Stych.

Truth. 🤣 "Big Dave" was fantastic in Glass Onion (particularly after the reveal on his "situation"), but I gave up on MNS's films after Signs. If he's moved on from being a "one trick pony" and stopped appearing in his own films I might give him another go. A buddy said I would probably like Split, but I've not gotten there yet. There was a question up-thread about using Pro Wrestlers in films; remember those guys and gals are specialty actors first, stunt performers second, and personalities third. The actual act of wrestling is pretty far down the list of things they're actually doing.

Wow. This I didn't know. Definitely lost track. Also completely forgot or never knew many on that list. Particularly Bogdonavich and Kaminski.

I've met more than one Director and/or 1st AD who got their start as a PA for Corman. One would be very surprised how many careers his company launched. 🤣 I know nothing about this Kraven character. Looks like typical "movie night with the fellas" fare - potentially enjoyable but nothing special.

Yup. Any build chasing typed defense should definitely be splitting that set for the bonus. Doubling the 2.5% for Melee is still decent for chasing positional defense, but I'm less inclined to go that route in that case. Been a long time since I played around with the PM/SD Scrappy. I wonder if peppering in DSOs might change the build up a bit. Hmm.

"They say anger is a gift. I'm Very Gifted, and if `Ignorance is Bliss' then I'm a Sado-Masochist" Paul William Francis, a.k.a. Sage Francis ... "Pressure Cooker." "You say you don't care, if the atom drops; You say you don't care, if the world is lost ... They'll never break you if you're strong enough; They'll never change you if you turn your Anger into Hope." Benjamin Kowalewicz, a.k.a. Billy Talent ... "Don't Count on the Wicked."

YMMV: I'm not really a fan of putting ATO2 in an AoE as it means keeping the AoE in-chain when taking on an AV/Monster/Etc where single target attacks are more desirable. ML in particular has a sort of long activation time. ML is a great place for a FF: %+rech though if you've got the slotting room for it. Having said that I was never quite happy with ATO2 placement on my Psi/SD, but that is likely because she is swords only and TKB would be a better spot for it than PB. Also, remember that GPB can slot two purple %dmg procs: the melee one and the holds one. Don't sleep on that hold in GPB either - when Insight is up the duration is quite long, long enough to use a %hold in one of your other single target attacks and a third in a ranged option from an Epic/Patron pool if you take one to stack those up. A Scrapper than can potentially stack mag-9 of single target hold is quite hilarious.

Better Than Expected Flicks...?
InvaderStych replied to ThaOGDreamWeaver's topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
Well, I finally circled around to watching Prey; I knew a bit about it and I was previously impressed by the lead from her turn in Legion so I expected moderately good things. Bearing in mind that we are talking about a Predator movie here: I did not expect it to be as outstandingly enjoyable as it was. Great movie, surpassed the original, imo, and most certainly left the other sequels squirming in its dust. It is not often that a movie tricks me into thinking it is foreshadowing something but then doesn't and does something else instead. This one did: Going to have to make time to watch the full Comanche language dub sooner than later. -
Options List Invalid: Alien not included.

Wow. Settle down, Francis. It was meant to be humorous. Or did you assume that I really thought I was required to have more than one account? 🤣 Some folks on this board take this $%^& way too seriously. 🤷♂️
-
Um ... do you mean maximum? Otherwise I am falling short of this "minimum of three accounts" to the tune of two. 🤣

Good call! Had been meaning to swing back around to this thread to post that very OST. 👍

David Lamb's writing could fill this thread all on its own. Anyone with an ear for Post-Modern American Folk music - The Devil Makes Three, Poor Man's Poison, and similar stuff - should absolutely explore Brown Bird. Single entry today, gotta get my day started: "He wore his age like a statement that fighting the ravages of time and mortality were beneath his notice." James S. A. Corey - Caliban's War (The Expanse Book 2)

What else are you watching/reading/listening to right now?

Currently Reading: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/18656030-cibola-burn Recently discovered these guys via frequent appearances on one of my Pandora stations. Have them on repeat in the mornings and sometimes after work, just too good: Pandora is neat (insert Spotify if you're inclined); great way to discover new stuff. Currently exploring more music from Australia as a result. Same way I discovered Akala (British) who is an absolute genius of a lyricist. -
Excellent idea! I certainly hope song lyrics count. I'll limit myself to two per post, but I could definitely spam this thread if left to my own devices. "The only way we can ever change anything is to look in the mirror and find no enemy." Kingslee James McLean Daley a.k.a Akala ... "Find No Enemy." "If a day should break in anger; patience weak and temper strong; put our able hands to labor; we will work through what went wrong." David Lamb (r.i.p.) a.k.a. Brown Bird ... "Danger and Dread."

She does a fair amount of voice over work. She's the original Birdgirl from Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law and from the recent spin-off: Seriously, check out HB:ATL, classic Adult Swim with Steven Colbert in the early episodes (he returns for some of the later ones as well). I *thought* she did this VA, but maybe not. Similar sound though: That doesn't seem to be in her IMDB credits though.

VA by Lance Henriksen. RFO VA by Matt Frewer (Max Headroom). TV VA by Paget Brewster. Or vice verse. Those two arguing with each other in VA would be hilarious.
