Had a claws/SR on Live and got him to the point where he more or less died. Loves it till I got bored of it...granted that took a year. My last main was a Claws/Fire Brute which was stupid tough. Recreated as my first when we came home. People tell me he is a good farmer, might be but not my thing. Have no issue running pretty much any content. You do need to plan it out for survivability but he is a little wrecking machine.

Wnt to Guatemala cpl Xmas ago. surprised the entire country didn't burn down. Was so cool...hours upon hours of them. Then Xmas morning sweeping the streets and burning the left overs.

Question. If you unslot an IO or SetIO that has been boosted does it lose its boost? Can't you just throw it into another hero and off you go?

Deleting is a valid option. When I want a common/uncommon I go to the Market. If and when a short fall develops someone will step in to fix the problem assuredly.

Well spoken words Hardship, and I agree with everything you said, but I believe Harlequinn, great name by the way, is asking when enough Infuence is enough. I don't know if I actually have an answer for that one. Not sure what my liquid total is at now. Every 200ish millon I send out an email to be claimed by an alt most of which I don't look at anymore except for storing influence. (I finally hit the 2nd page of characters and of those 11 heroes 7 are destined to be stripped of IOS (seems I think everyone needs Glads and Steadfast +s by lvl 7 lol), creative costumes saved and fun names written down (I'm looking at you Hero Named Ted who began life as Hero Name TBD) and ultimately deleted. Whatever it adds up to is a lot. Enough that I can now drop a billion if need be to simply try something out, 3 times if need be to compare the 3 builds on my blaster (which now that I have his first actual Respec done is what I am working towards) to see if some minor reworking make any real difference. Is it enough? Sure, I would imagine it is but there is always room for more. I don't actually market on whatever I am actively playing with the exception of collecting things for its build. For me the temptation is to great to click on WW right away and I would rather be dealing with Malta. TLDR Lots but not all of it. Happy hunting and Merry Christmas.

Those of us that are Ebil spend a fair bit of time helping people not to over spend when we aren't swimming in our pools of influence Scooge McDuck style. This is one of those moments. To get both of those IOs you really only need to spend 12-15 million (and 15 is silly impatient buying.) Take the remainder and purchase your Glad+Defense. If you are especially lucky you can pick up a Steadfast along the way though admittedly for that you may need a lot of Luck Charms. Happy hunting and merry Christmas to all.

Recently I made a kin/Shield and got him up to 17. Enjoyed the notion of it very much but half way through the Atta mission the thought occurrd to me that Kin might actually might be too slow for me. I can see it becoming a powerhouse of damage as well avoiding baddies damage. That's not what I'm looking for right now though. So instead of making something new I hopped on the staff/SR I had managed to get to the high teens. I ran a SR scrapper on live which I recall enjoying. My tank here is WP/Staff and I love the animations. Concern is whether I will be able to get damage output high enough to not be a slow slog like I foreee Kin Melee being. Having Staff on a Tank I'm really not sure how good the damage may get. Thoughts? Not looking for a build, I am fine doing that myself, just any experiences you may have.

Where can I see how many players have logged in X length of time and how many alts did they run? I know it exists somewhere but have no idea where. Happy hunting.

Finally actually doing my 2nd build. So far it has taken me 3 hours lol cause I'm slow sometimes. Everything is slotted but I have discovered I am actually short 220 boosters. Somehow forgot I was boosting everything, more or less, just because. So that will put it at about 1.1 billion I figure. Anyone else keep track of build costs just for fun?

Finally finished my Blapper's 2nd build. When I switch between builds there is a delay for powers to show up on the bar. Seems to have taken about an hour foremost of the Teleport P2W powers to come back. Reloging didn't seem to have an affect. Is this a common occurrence when changing builds?

Yeah I like it too. I'l agree it needs more bass drops along the way though. You definately captured the bright and heroic aspects, but don't forget there is a villainous tone to the game as well. So more dark rumblings in the background should work out nicely. Then there are the Praetorians....
