Create your own. I took 37 characters to level 50 back on live and 16 (so far) on Homecoming. Not once did I use someone else's build.

The wrench definitely works. What might be causing a problem is that it requires a 'to hit' check. I run Tactics and Focused Accuracy and also hit Build Up before throwing it. Also, I was told (and can not verify personally), that you have to hit with the wrench AFTER the countdown starts but if you're using the grounding ray, you have to hit BEFORE the countdown starts. The only thing I can personally verify is that hitting with the wrench after the countdown starts is effective.

Overall, I agree with your point. My girlfriend and I were able to duo MoITF with less than optimal characters. No longer possible. A sad day. Actually, that would be hard. That's a math/coding limit. A long integer value can only go up to 2,147,483,647. Now, Reward and Vanguard Merits are a different story. They cut off at 10,000. That means the display can handle 5 digits and it must be stored AT LEAST as an integer value, which can go up to 32,767. So there's no good reason for it to stop at 10,000.

Can someone tell me how they made this character!:)

On the other hand, no other secondary effect is as entertaining as watching an enemy get blasted across the room or, even better, off a bridge or rooftop. The only thing I can think of that might compare is if we got to see the enemies explode - which isn't going to happen in a game with this ESRB rating.

Fact or fiction: Only 10% of the player base reads and posts on the forums. Fact, although the exact number is debatable. For many games it's less than 10%. For this one, I think it has always been higher, ESPECIALLY now that you are required to visit the forums to create your game account. Fact or fiction: The game is too easy. For everybody. At all levels. Only at incarnate levels. Fiction. There is so much variation in player skill and ability that no game is too easy for everyone. Fact or fiction: The new Master of TF/SF settings are good for the game. umm.... wrong question? I don't see that they're either good or bad - they just are. With the advantage of 20/20 hindsight, the Master badges should never have allowed incarnate powers. But, since we can't go back and change the past, this seems like the next-best option. P.S. For the people mentioning the Zookeeper badge, HAH! Yeah, I got it before it was reduced. I also got the final healing badge before it was reduced TWICE by a factor of TEN EACH TIME.

Firstly, let me say welcome. Secondly, if you enjoy playing the Devices set, then it was an excellent choice. Having said that, I have a dual pistols/devices which I have taken all the way to 50 and beyond, getting tier 4 in most of the incarnate powers. So it is absolutely a useful set, especially after getting some buffs. For example, 'Web Grenade' is now 'Toxic Web Grenade' and does significant damage. And, finally, no you can't change your primary or secondary power sets (or your origin). You can use a respec to change what powers you have within the set.

For the extra crafts, I did level 45 Endurance Reduction and Endurance Modification. And then I continued with those, doing a few dozen every day, in order to get the badge for selling 7,000 items on the consignment house.

I've been told that you need to use the wrench AFTER his countdown starts but the grounding ray BEFORE the countdown starts. Is this correct? (I have this badge but want to understand how the mechanics work.)
-
Oy. It used to be that you and/or your team must do at least 10% of the total damage to get the badge. It might still be working that way. This is why Jack In Irons and Eochai were often problematic. If they had spawned together and were fighting for a while, they would have inflicted (and healed) enough damage on each other that no one could get the badges for defeating them. Some giant monsters use a different system. Lusca awards the badge to anyone within a certain distance when he dies.

I need the COH/V's community opinion please...
Ironblade replied to JnEricsonx's topic in General Discussion
I would agree with that choice, also. It was either that one or the one with the 2060 video card but I don't see what the second offers that makes it worth $150 more. On a side note, definitely install CoH on the SSD. My CoH directory is only 4.6 GB so you definitely have room for it. A 480GB SSD is *BIG* (until you start talking about MODERN games). I have a 480GB SSD for everything but my games and I'm only using 172GB. For my games, I have a 2TB SSD which is 2/3 full. On another side note, I was going to scream about financing through a vendor until I checked and saw that, if you qualify, the financing is interest-free for up to 18 months. I had a friend show off his fancy stereo once and told me it was financed through the store at only 1.4%. I looked at the fine print and saw it was 1.4% *PER MONTH*. That's the kind of BS some places do. -
Can you build around pool powers as main attacks?
Ironblade replied to Mashugana's topic in General Discussion
I guess he would be the sidekick of Pizza Delivery Man? -
1. There are no bad AT's (although I think you meant powersets). 2. 'Fixing' problems with a powerset is EXACTLY what many people use IO sets for. Is that their only use? Of course not. Is it a popular use? Hell yes. On a side note, I have a WP tank currently working on her incarnate powers. Not sure how you screwed up your build so that it couldn't take alphas past level 30.

I have seen a lot of people saying the final badge is still bugged, even after the patch to the SF. By bugged, I mean that the blue beams do not behave like they are supposed to and also can still inflict damage after they have disappeared from the screen. That aspect reminds me of Tyrant's lightning in the Magisterium - you can take damage when there's no lightning visible at your position.

Nope. I run one big monitor so have never dealt with multiple monitors.

What foes use the confuse debuff against players?
Ironblade replied to cohRock's topic in General Discussion
Are you a big fan of Tactics? I am and, as a result, hardly ever get confused since Tactics gives both Confuse Resistance (reduced duration) and Confuse Protection (enemies must exceed the magnitude of your protection to have an effect). I was looking at it yesterday during the Underground iTrial. If I recall correctly, it's around 75% resistance and mag 6 protection. -
Is there a way to restore my rocket launcher?
Ironblade replied to Redletter's topic in General Discussion
It's "reroll or suffer" until that entire section of the costume system gets rewritten. I found that, by going into the costume editor, you can pick your priority. I think it was whichever item I edited LAST. You can have either of the following: 1) Your dual pistols display correctly and your rocket launcher is invisible. 2) Your rocket launcher displays correctly but one of your pistols is invisible. -
There is apparently some scaling based on level. I was power leveling a character yesterday and, in the process of getting to level 28, the door-sitter filled all 70 enhancement slots twice. My fire farmer got something like 9 enhancements over the same time frame. This was clearing all five maps of Briggs' fire farm twice. So . . . 50's just don't get a lot of enhancement drops. This is fine with me, since they're pretty much trash. I also got two purples which are worth way more than stacks of SO's.

Here is the official policy on multi-boxing. Worth noting, just because a shard shows 3 red dots doesn't mean you can't multi-box. Excelsior had 3 dots the other day with 1100 people online. You can view the exact number of people on each shard with the link at the top of this forum page - "Server Status". Multiboxing Policy We allow a basic level of multiboxing on the Homecoming servers outside of peak times. These rules apply on a shard-by-shard basis (by ‘shard’ we mean Torchbearer, Excelsior, etc). If there are less than 1500 people logged in to a shard you may play with up to three accounts at once. If there are more than 1500 people logged into a shard you may only play with a single account. If you are caught multiboxing when there are between 1500 and 1600 players logged in to a shard, you will be warned and expected to log off immediately. If you ignore requests to do so your accounts will receive a 24h ban. If you are caught multiboxing repeatedly with more than 1600 players logged in to a shard, all of your accounts will receive immediate permanent bans. It is your responsibility to monitor server status and current player count if you wish to multibox. You can do this both on our website and in the #live-shards channel on our Discord. An exception to this rule is Hamidon raid zones (The Hive, The Abyss) which have a limited population cap. No multiboxing is allowed in these zones. Breaking this rule may result in all of your characters being removed from the zone and short-term suspensions being issued for repeat offenders

You don't have to play the tutorial to pick a side. You can choose at the end of the character creation process. Also, note that you can choose to start in Praetoria (the alternate Earth also referred to as 'gold side') right at the beginning of the creation process.

Now that ASF went live, what do you think of it?
Ironblade replied to Albion's topic in General Discussion
The best result being, of course, getting to hit as many people as possible. 🙂
