Kind of. I went to test this today. They fixed the places that used to work, apparently by removing the doors on the buildings. However, I found another spot that worked but there's no point now. It used to be the only way to get into the 'matrix room' but you can just walk in from the arena now. Also, when I did the /stuck command from under the arena, it put me all the way upstairs in by the terminals instead of in the matrix room.

It's in the big lake. There are a few doors around the edge of the lake. One is the hidden base while the others are mission doors (and normally inaccessible).

Your forum name and password are different from your game name and password. At the top of the forums is a menu item called Account Center. You need to go there and create a game account.

Pretty much everyone is useful. In fact, for Hamidon raids, you need ranged damage, melee damage, holds and tanks. So a variety is very helpful. I've taken almost every archetype to 50 and they're all good. The only one I haven't done yet is Sentinel since it's new and I've been busy recreating characters I had back on live. I don't know anywhere you can find all that information compiled but, to be honest, that's probably because it would not be that helpful. Most sets are a 'defense set' or a 'resist set' or a 'regen set'. There are some that cross over; Invulnerability is considered a 'blend set' (resistance and defense). And most armors will have different stats vs smashing / fire / energy / psi / etc damage so it would be very hard to compile the stats in a legible format. Decide what you're going to do with the brute and that will narrow down the options for you. Do you plan to farm? Do you mostly play solo or on large teams? Are you creating this character for end-game content? And I wouldn't use endurance recovery as a factor in a decision since it's super easy to deal with endurance issues (IO set bonuses, incarnate powers, ancillary power pools).

Oh, I used to know some of these. I think Killing Crew became the Freakshow.

That has not been my experience on Everlasting. Even though the 'Zone' base on Everlasting is nowhere near as fancy as the Cosmic Transport base (I play at least a little on all the North America shards), every time I have gone through the base in the past few days I have seen people there.

I would strongly oppose this *UNLESS* the chat system would automatically block the message when it's just a wall of emojis. I play Black Desert Online and that's the new 'cool' thing to do - a line full of emojis repeated multiple times to produce a wall of them. No thanks.

Weird bug. I noticed one of my power icons blinking as if it were about to expire. Except it was the icon for Super Jump, which is a toggle. I saw this after logging in next to the base portal in Kallisti Wharf. I logged out and back in to see if it would happen again but it did not.

Threats are not helpful feedback. They're talking about retaliation - changing how they act toward other players because they can't have what they want.
-
"Well, because of this change, I will play less and play differently and it's going to hurt everyone around me." Just stop with the silly threats.

Just saw this. I don't recall any mention in the patch notes. I'm guessing the packs being black was a bug and was fixed. Having said that.... Can we PLEASE get an all-black jet pack option?

Yeah, and it goes the other way, too. My dark/archery defender had Recall Friend *AND* TP Foe. Now she has Combat Teleport, which does not fit the character or how I play her. So, I need to respec to dump the Combat Teleport. To be fair, I tried it out and it's a lot of fun and I can see how it would mesh really well with some powersets and play styles - just not this character.

The real difficulty is trying to imagine what some of these office buildings look like on the outside. I was in a Manticore TF yesterday and wondered out loud, "Who the hell designs buildings like this?!?"

To clarify further, yes they characterized it as an exploit a year ago. Also, they were aware of the PvP usage, which is clearly an exploit, a year ago. But, as they have specifically pointed out, they were not aware of the GAME-BREAKING exploit a year ago. It was only discovered recently (October of this year, I believe). So there are actually a whole raft of exploits associated with the command. The ones known early on (PvP, Master badge runs, maybe others) were not considered that serious.

"suggests" Your interpretation differs from the facts laid out in a separate thread.
-
This was discussed weeks ago, in one of the 'Focused Feedback' threads posted at the time of the start of beta testing.
-
Now it's my turn to 'respectfully disagree'. They never said that they knew about the exploit a YEAR ago. They specifically said they discovered it when they were working on a replacement power for this issue.
-
Bro, as you pointed out yourself, they left it there for a year because it wasn't urgent or a big deal. Then they realized there was an exploit and took it out IMMEDIATELY.
-
I see where you're coming from but the first sentence that I quoted is completely false. So you're starting from an incorrect premise.
-
How is that not saying that they removed it because of PvP? Removing the slash command for PvP zones would accomplish NOTHING. It's not a PvP-related problem. And again, I point to the fact that the exploit was only found RECENTLY when they started looking at alternatives to include in Issue 27. The only mistake the devs made here, which they have publicly admitted, was not removing the command immediately. They didn't see any harm in it AT THE TIME. Recently, they discovered the potential for grievous harm (and I don't mean silliness like cheating in PvP) so they removed it now.
-
Again (and again and again) the command was not removed because of PvP. There was an exploit which was only discovered recently.
-
Not even close. Those based are still EASILY accessible. Or, one needs the day job powers which can be acquired at zero cost.
-
Yes, but as Jimmy said, telling us AGAIN AND AGAIN that you don't like it doesn't serve a purpose. And it's not a "punishment" for anyone.

We currently have this functionality with base portals but only for the team leader's base. If I understand your comment, you are suggesting that when a person drops the persistent base portal, it should also list as an option the base belonging to the person who dropped the portal. I agree. That would make perfect sense in the context of the game and would be a nice feature. The only downside I see here is that, since the portals all use the same code, this would require rewriting part of the base portal code. I have no idea how easy or difficult that would be. But it's definitely a cool idea.

A wise decision. I have been training carrier pigeons to poop on the message recipient.
