After 100 it's only for bragging rights. My highest is currently VL482 (NUTCRCKR).

...and it only matters until you hit VL 100, then you no longer earn Empyrean Merits (every third VL from 3 to 99). By then, you should be T4 in all incarnates and have enough "stuff" left over to make a couple more T3s.

With only four pieces of Preventive Medicine, it's a 814 HP bump (and 175% regen for 30 sec) with a 55 sec. cooldown ...in a build that doesn't focus much on recharge other than Hasten. When Hasten is up, it's 42 seconds.

Not available on the melee archetypes, but the speed attained from Kinetics (Siphon Speed) doesn't suppress, in combat.

You're referring to Dull Pain. Not only a great O-$hit tool, but you're so tough you can use it as a buff, for Max HP (a remarkable 3250 every 2-1/2 minutes, or just less than every two, when Hasten is up). If you want a super durable tank, especially once 50 and incarnated (nearly unkillable), Inv/DM is an excellent choice. The guru of that combo passed away last year, so I made this guy in homage to @Heraclea's original build. Only one (since I'm a tanker at heart), Electric Armor/Electric Melee/Energy Mastery/Ionic Judgement. Had to try EA and it doesn't disappoint. Not top tier durability, but, like a well-built Fire or WP tank, easily tanks 98% of "normal" content.

Welcome back! As Gobbledegook mentioned, Battle Axe got a significant buff with the I27 page 5 release, so Broadsword may seem "lacking", but it's still a good set (lots of -Def). Any +Def it offers, however, won't be needed with a properly built SD tank, for sure, but every little bit helps, right? 😆 On that note, a properly built SD tank will easily handle +4/8 (non-Hard Mode "star") content, including ITFs. NO tank will survive 3 or 4 star HM ITFs, without external support, so don't focus too much on that. Roll it and let us know how it goes!

My pleasure! The seven-tank Team2 finished a kill most +2 MC in 32 min.! Then we got the first two missions of the Unai arc in, for much fun and leveling (those poor Council d-bags didn't know what hit them. Even though he's not my most played tank, my titular toon is always a blast to drive. Tons of herding, what a great time.

Picked the glowing pom-poms of death as the primary, to be a single-target wrecking ball. One option: Since procs aren't affected by the Rage crash, you still have damage potential, during those 10 sec. crash times. Swapping one of the Obliteration pieces with the proc., in both Foot Stomp and Cross Punch and one of the Bombardment pieces with the proc., in Energy Torrent gives you three AOE attacks, with damage potential, during the crashes. Yes, you give up something (either overall damage, recharge, accuracy or end use), depending on which piece you replace, or you could replace a FF recharge proc and get the 6th piece bonus (AOE, Fire and Cold defense) in either FS or CP. If you do that, you could move it to Kick and, while admittedly a low chance for activation, kick away during the crash 😆.

I run the "Big Mobs" tunnel. Use the search function, at the AE mission kiosk. Set diff to +4 and team size of 8. Set Hasten on auto. Enter Mish. Eat a red. Kill Mobs. Eat reds, as they drop. Convert non reds to reds, when you have three-of-a-kind (there are macros to do this automatically, but I don't use them). This mish arc is four identical missions, so finish, exit and revisit the contact. I craft and sell, after every two missions, so buy a crafting table, with your first $10M. You make as much with drops, as with infl from killing....
