There's a similar power in Dominator/Savage Assault called Unkindness. Again, Murder of Crows would have been better. -

I generally pick up the accuracy booster and damage booster from DFB and try to pick up the replacement accuracy booster from DIB at lvl 22. I try to pick up Flames of Prometheus from Mortimer Kal SF. When I do Dream Doctor's arc, I generally take Aura of Mot (vs. Blessing of Tielekku). If you count the temp powers you can get and recharge via day jobs, there are several I get on almost all my characters: Jet Pack - earned by logging off in the Shadow Shard (or Grandville). I always pick this up at lvl 1. Base Teleporter - earned by logging off next to a base portal. Revive Ally - requires Physician (logging off in hospital) and Professor (logging of in university). Once you get it, can be recharged by logging off in either location. -
While it's not terribly hard to get the recharge of Energize down to 45 seconds, I agree that the 120 second base recharge is significantly longer than the heals in other armor sets. Dark Regeneration is 30 seconds, Healing Flames is 40 seconds and Radiation Therapy is 60 seconds. Only Energy Aura/Energize (which has identical stats) is as long. Also, it would be nice to be able to make the endurance discount and +regen perma (both have a 30 second duration). BTW, Energize doesn't suck health from your foes - it's a non-targeted self heal similar to Healing Flames. Don't skip Power Sink. Even if you don't need the endurance recovery, it's a potent sapping weapon. The base endurance drain is 40%, which can be increased to 78% via slotting. Plus it's auto-hit and AoE.

Both are very sturdy. Largely depends on what you want your weakness to be. Dark is weak to energy and toxic but not that much. Electric is slightly weak to negative but has no toxic resistance at all. (If you're also considering Rad, it's weak to cold and psi.) While it does need a target, Dark's heal is like nothing else in the game. On Dark, I skip Cloak of Fear and Oppressive Gloom. CoF requires a huge slot investment to be effective and even then it only affects minions. OG can be worthwhile if you have another stun to stack with it (as MA does).

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Nature. It offers very strong ally buffs (heal, +res, +regen, +absorb, +dmg) and foe debuffs (-res (ST), -dmg, -tohit, -regen). Generally valued for HM runs.

I see them advertised occasionally, but less frequently than AT or powerset themed events.

The chance for Distortion Field to hold is 2% every 1 second (3% if the target is subject to Time Crawl), which translates to 1.2 PPM. Since the base hold is mag 3, the Lockdown proc only has a benefit if it hits a boss. This seems like a pretty rare occurrence and not worth slotting for. I use two different slottings on Distortion Field. On my Fire/Time corruptor I use 1 slow IO + 1 rech IO. On my Illusion/Time controller I use 2 damage procs (controllers get better base values for slow).

What that means is that if the target has the raid tag, the power requires a tohit roll. What that means is that if the target doesn't have the raid tag, the power is autohit. (The exclamation mark means doesn't have.) -

On the page you linked: This was how they fixed the WP (and EA) taunt aura for tanks and brutes a few years ago to address this very issue. All tanks and brutes now have taunt auras with the same mag and duration. -
With that attack chain, I would put it in Swoop. I haven't done the math of Gash vs. epic blast. Make sure you're looking at current builds - BA was revamped in October and all the cast times were shortened.

The ATO that matters is Critical Strikes (specifically, the proc). It increases the chance for a critical hit by 50% for 3.25 seconds. You want to slot this in the power you use before your heavy hitter. Depends on your attack chain, but I would probably slot it in Gash. The Scrapper Strikes ATO provides a global bonus (not a proc) and can be slotted in any power. Because it provides a lot of +recharge, I like to slot it in a power with a long recharge. I would probably slot it in Axe Cyclone, Cleave or Pendulum.

Lightning Field is part of the Electric Armor set, not the Electric Melee set. If the devs made this change to Lightning Field, they would have to make similar changes to all the other damage auras in armor sets. That's a lot of work for very little benefit. The Electric Melee sleeps only have a 10-30% chance to occur and they're only Mag 2 (minions only). Frankly, I would rather have the additional damage from Lightning Field to defeat foes more quickly. If you team, your sleeps will be broken anyway.

You are incorrect. Tankers and brutes have a 14.96/13.6 second Mag 4 Taunt in RTTC. My WP brute holds mobs just fine. The only TF I've ditched recently was an Admiral Sutter when I discovered the lvl 22 leader didn't intend to pass the star to someone at max level before starting. I was 50 and there several other team members at 40+. I raised the issue and quit when I got crickets. -

I agree with you, but the devs have been pretty vocal about not expanding taunt on scrappers. You may need to roll an /EA brute if you want the stronger taunt.
