A few weeks ago, a friend came to see me. "So you played Persona 5? Tell me about it" I told him about it. For a full hour. So the next day, I bought Persona 5 Royal. 88 hours in as of yesterday. Curse my irresistible auto-suggestion skills. If only I could use them to stop snacking at night!

Soooo.... Sretsalb? No wait, the plural form should be Retsalbs. ... ... Ok fine, Blappers. And I too 100% support this idea. A squishy melee with manipulation options would make for a very interesting, perma-mezzed character. Imagine that, a primary set of melee attacks, and a secondary set of controls, blasts and manipulation. So ... a reverse Dominator? I think I'm confusing myself. I'll leave the thinking to specialists. I like your idea, OP, but this needs to be moved to the suggestion forum.

Windows+Shift+S. Select (frame) what you want. It is now in your clipboard. CTRL-V it in a post. You're welcome. (Since the Market forum often mean using screenshots, I figured it would be useful to at least a few of you guys) Happy marketing.

My own experience with Fire/Staff is that it's extremely situational. It works, it can be specced to do some interesting things, but I played one for a very long time and it never got me to the giggly/OMG feeling my other tanks do. I rerolled it as an Elec/Staff and that so far is a lot more promising. The fact that Fire armor has visuals that intensely irritate me probably doesn't help.

Rad/Staff-do I need to take Taunt with Beta Decay?
Aeroprism replied to JnEricsonx's topic in Tanker
I do not either. Ran full groups for three days straight with my Inv/Claw and the only time anyone was aboe to get aggro off of me ever was... another tanker. Beta decay is love. -
It was playful sarcasm. Considering the sheer amount of available components and what you can do with them, randomized sets without any form of structure would be essentially impossible to use. I was simply considering the common sense @Greycat suggested and it made me giggle, trying to imagine what sort of complete insanity a true random base would look like (true random doesn't exist, I know). Just try to imagine, this nightmare of dysfunctional infrastructure where my Illusion Controller (Villain) would be right at home. Imagine the mind product of taking the Riddler, the Joker, some LSD and put them in a high speed blender. Random. Opportunity. But very, very specific opportunity.

Surprisingly accurate. Bravo. -
I think we're missing an opportunity here.

Uh... guys, this is coffee. (Well, Starbucks, so, coffee on the loosest sense possible). So it's clearly part of a "To Hit" set with set bonuses emphasising on recharge. -
Off topic, but still pertinent. I will give the wards another go.

Good PuG, good game, good evening! (I dared the star tonight)

Dual account on the same computer means no changes in UI or options, it's Win/Win. -
I waited a long time before posting here because I wanted a real solid answer. I have it now. Rad/Claw tank. It is ridiculous. It is a thing of beauty. Such power shouldn't be legal and I don't even have Shockwave yet. It is an AoE beast that is super easy to spec. It murders everything and it is a super easy build to resist cap that keeps healing itself and never dies. By level 31, I was destroying x8 +0 missions. I insist on "destroying". It was unbelievably fast and absolutely safe. At level 33, I am upping to x8 +1 and +2 will probably follow soon. I can't get enough of that character, it solidified Tanker as my favorite AT. Play one. Play one now. Edit: Rad/Claw, not Inv/Claw. Though I'm sure Inv/Anything is awesome too.

Good PuG, good game, good evening! (I dared the star tonight)
Aeroprism replied to Aeroprism's topic in General Discussion
I have my wife account for that, and I have one character of my own there, a farmer I use when I feel like that (which is, almost never). So that's indeed a viable idea/solution, thank you. And you do know that you can run 2 instances of the game on the same PC right? On the launcher, click the white arrow at the right of the HOMECOMING title to start a second instance of the game. It's such a light game, it's almost the same as running one. Alt-tab is your friend. Thank you very much for your suggestion, much appreciated!! -

@Snarky That's quite a sale's pitch and I will surely come along as well. I just need to figure how to move things over my characters without access to my own SG base. -
A quick search through this forum came back negative so here it is: I love the "Contact -> Find Contact" option but it mostly contains the more "recent" arc contacts and the Wards contacts. Is it possible to expand the list so it contains all the legacy contacts as well? I know you're supposed to meet them through normal contact progression but let's face it, with double XP and huge teams, you can quickly go from Kings Row to Brickstown with a solid group without ever playing a single of YOUR missions/contacts, so you kinda lose your point of.... well, contact. I'm not the biggest fan of the various Wards contents and there's only so many times I'm ready to help Graham Easton before I go stir mad. So there you go.

Aeroprism replied to Aeroprism's topic in General Discussion
Well, the 20 tanker is 27 now. Dared the star again, cleared two whole Talos Arcs. We weren't the most efficient and there was less talking today, but the mood was good and fun was had. A little bit of admittance: every time I made one of these groups, I secretly hoped one or a few of you guys would be in there. I would love so much to play with my forum buddies!! -

Aeroprism replied to Aeroprism's topic in General Discussion
It's not always easy. Right now, I'm in Talos, doing an arc and I keep telling myself "I should gather people". So why don't I? I dunno. Maybe after my first coffee. -
I did not know that much. Thank you for such a clear explanation.

My Ice/Ice tank is like this because of Frost. She hovers, still in melee range, but just high enough to allow the cone to face down. It is honestly pure awesome. The amount of people I hit with this cone is stupid-high and I don't even have to move to follow up with ST-melee.
-
You say all this and all I hear is happiness and joy. I already loved that tank but with your help, I'm going to adore it!
-
Lovely build! Don't mind if I do! I'm going to use this almost 100%, I might just swap Taunt for something else, maybe a travel power, Assault or Physical Perfection.
-
A 180. It was predestined. Seriously dude, I keep having great times on Ex. Don't give up.

Steamrolling messed with well beyond /traps, it messed with entire ATs and aspects of the game. But your second statement is what I love here. No, my controller won't shine in a level 54 steamroller group the way shs did in a middle 20 group, but you can be sure as heck that she won't be useless either.

Over the years, there were quite a few choices that didn't work for me but I'd be very hard pressed to admit that there are combos that universally suck for absolutely everyone. I suck at blasters/corrupters as a whole and I can't play a defender to save my life, but it's not because my Fire/fire blaster eats more concrete than inspirations that it's the case for everyone,
