  1. Meltdown is a MUST have. I've done Rad Armor a LOT. From a damage perspective, you want Meltdown up as often as possible. It gives a really good % boost when active. @InvaderStych is 1000% right with they they say about it. Here's a first pass. Hopefully you get some ideas. Oh, Rad Therapy has a 3.0 multiplier for ACC instead of the more common 1.0 for stuff. And it being proc bombed like that is actually some really good AOE, especially early on if you Cat the non-PVP/VRare procs. Also, this is defense soft cap assuming your target gets all of the -TOHIT debuff in Beta Decay. This WILL dump out DPS.

    ENERGY MELEE

Scrapper. Not sure of any cons compared to how it plays vs other ATs. Tanker gets more AOE in terms of damage. Other than that, it is a VERY large DPS difference. Put the ATO2 in ET. It statistically is better there. Don't worry about HP doing ET a lot. Yes, don't forget about it, but it isn't a factor. The AOE on EM isn't horrible, but it isn't good. The AOE isn't why someone grows to love the set. For scrappers, ET doesn't crit. It instantly refreshes.
  3. I was one of those guys. I still remember it starting out as a competition and (thank deity) it evolved to a collection of data. There were definitely a noticeable few that treated it like a competition (the guy that had the best melee pylon time with a SS/FIRE brute for example....refused to share his build). The current iteration of that thread is REALLY nice IMO. It feels like a sharing of data. blueruckus still stands out to me pre-shutdown days as one of those people. blue had a low 50s pylon time. That person had zero issue sharing the build they were using (VEAT crabstermind btw). blue knew it didn't matter if the build was copied slot for slot, if the player was boo-boo it didn't matter. @nihilii reminded me of that with his comment. Claws in it's spot for the data collection here doesn't surprise me one bit. I did do a double-take at the Savage Melee thing. I've only played the set at 50 for a few hours. I honestly forget the set exists most of the time.
  4. As someone who has a DM/BIO/SOUL that does more AOE than most AT combos known for AOE, I feel pretty confident saying that Shadow Maul is very skippable (I'll put 1B inf on that). I've tried putting the ATO2 proc in Midnight Grasp but holy cow. MG has a very long animation time and the ATO2 proc,, if it goes off there, is activated way to soon (ATBE (AttackTimeBeforeEffect)) in the attacks animation to get real benefit from it. ArcanaTime is 2.244s and the proc is activated .533s in to the attack. So now you have (2.244-.533=1.711...3.25-1.711=1.539) 1.539 of use from the proc. Now, look at putting it in Siphon Life. It has a AT of 2.112s and a ATBE .833s. When it goes off here you will have 1.971s of the proc to use. In the game of milliseconds this is a massive deal. I definitely agree with @Uun about taking both Shadow Punch and Smite may be a bit superfluous. I'm a Smite person myself. Proc bomb Touch of Fear. Slot Soul Drain (I like to slap the ATO1 set here) and Dark Consumption for damage (Obliteration set is my fav here). Grats on the pairing. DM/ENA sounds legit. Maybe you can get some ideas from this: https://cod.uberguy.net/html/powerset.html?pset=scrapper_melee.dark_melee&at=scrapper
  5. True true. The best DPS rotation doesn't use a combo. Leveling up? I remember the KD combo being useful (they can't hit you if on their butt). Just remember 1k Cuts will root you until the animation is complete (holy crap it's long) so be ready to die alot during it's animation. I don't think highly of the attack and don't take it. Sweeping Strike is also a cone and its vital for ST DPS also.
  6. I rolled a Ice/FA/Caltrops scrapper on Brainstorm and yea...it AOEs pretty well. I didn't test the ST, but I'm guessing it's pretty LOL with /FA and FE anyways.
  7. Ice/Fire or Fire/ice (melee...not sure how the ranged options are for that...never done them) are a really good pairing from experience. I used to PL (before sets) with a Fire/Ice tanker and it was dumb effective. Ice/Fire scrapper seems like a really good way to alleviate the runner problem that comes with FA on scraps not having a taunt aura. Ice patch, caltrops, BURN BABY BURN
  8. Ice Patch is a wildly underrated tool. Caltrops is a really smart pairing with it. Noice.
  9. Drop Shadow Maul. It's garbage. Proc bombing Touch of Fear, slotting Dark Consumption and Soul Drain for damage, and taking Dark Obliteration are going to help IMMENSELY for AOE. This has no incarnates, is soft cappped, and has perma hasten. Maybe you can get some ideas.
  10. Without the KB/KD proc? It's up to you. With that proc? Must have. The attack is used in my ST rotation. It's that good.
  11. Don't dismiss TW. It's like if SS ripped up a post and started swinging it around.
  12. This one caught me off guard. Going to do a lot more runs to see if this was more legit or if I was measuring wrong. *Just did 4 more runs. It's a better average now. Scrapper TW/ENA 1:32 (Degen/RoF/MA/Enflame/Proc Build) Melt Armor and Enflame (lasts 60s) are what carry this the most IMO. Enflame also has a decent tick rate and is an AOE. Enflame is underrated and I'm mad I didn't take it seriously sooner. Chain: BM RA FT AoD RA FT AoD RA RoF CB RA FT AoD RA RoF normally to BM If the FF Recharge Procs in FT or AoD don't go off during a BM chain then it looks like: RA FT AoD RA FT WS AoD The runs where the procs DIDN'T go off at all I got up to 1:40. The runs they went off EVERY BM chain got all the way down to 1:20.
  13. GOLD FRICKIN' STAR The limit is 4x btw for those wondering.
  14. If anyone tries to argue tankers aren't OP they are wrong and they're opinion is wrong. Average of 5+ runs. Hybrid off. Tanker ELA/TW 3:00 (Degen/RoF/MA)
  15. MA/RAD/MU Scrapper 1:40 Average, Hybrid Off Had a streak of crappy RNG. That average can be lower, but whatever. MA is good. EC - Snipe - CaK - EC - SC - CaK - SC Repeat. Meltdown, BU, and Rad Therapy on cooldown. Does surprisingly good AOE. EC - Dragon Tail is pretty good AOE DPS. Either 33% or 83% increased chance to crit. Combined with procced Rad Therapy and Ground Zero this build drops whole packs decently well.
  16. BS/BIO/BLAZE Average (10+ Runs), Degen, Musc, Hybrid Off 1:19 Headsplitter - Hack - Disembowel - (if force feedback proc did NOT go off) Ring of Fire I'm more apt to do this with a build that I don't *feel* like it needs Shadow Meld. I'll toy with a RoF build for my BS/SD. Granted, off the top of my head, I fear I'd have to drop Super Jump to do it. *Nope. Not doing it.
  17. I know this is a joke, but Ston comes across as someone who isn't sharing his data with others to compete. And some people are..well, people (ew). He/She/They (no clue what to use, obviously) gives a really good baseline and info for others to go off of IMO. It's why I share my stuff. For example, I solo mostly so my stuff tries to simulate a lack of team buffs as much as possible. Others might want to know when things get weird and wild. Some people just think it's cheating not going at a thing with just brawl.
  18. lol I proc bomb DNA Siphon too. Doing that with DM's Touch of Fear and Rad Armor's Radiation Therpay turns them in to great AOE attacks.
  19. This isn't surprising, since if someone/thing is running away it isn't HITTING you (you also can't hit it). x/stn doesn't have a taunt aura, so it's aggro management is caca, but it's a darn good set for staying alive.
  20. This question a troll? If not, yes. They can. Especially a WM/SD scrapper can.
  21. Personally, I don't. It's only consistently noticeable when timed, and even then, I've never noticed by much. But for someone like me, it's enough to get frustrated at the difference when timed. Outside of pylon runs, especially solo, odds are you won't notice. Reactive DOES have the advantage that it will ignore total HP and you will still get it's full benefit. With Degen you can not, since it removes a set amount on very high HP targets, which ends up being a wash (thing Reichsman).
  22. If Lion-O, definitely Broadsword to me.
  23. EM is actually pretty good with end IMO. This combo will be similar to end management like a rad/rad scrapper. I'd definitely toggle OG/CoF as need and only individually though.
  24. Honestly, DB/Stone with hybrid active can definitely get similar times. DB can be a streaky c*nt if you get to many SS misses. *Yea, it does. DB on a defense, or hybrid set like stone, works really well build wise (to me) with this.
  25. MA/BIO 1:13 Degen, Ring of Fire, Melt Armor Hyrbid off, this is an average of at least 5 runs (this was 7 or 8...I was honestly wondering if this was a fluke). Chain: EC - CAK - SK- RoF Build:
