  1. I'm also not a fan of the pulsating. However, I don't think having two powers within the same set with the same animation is a good idea.. Maybe an alternate customization could be the effects from Enflame?
  2. The only problem with badges is that there aren't more badges.
  3. You're not crazy. It's definitely an issue. My guess is that the game engine thinks the beam is a projectile and doesn't apply damage until it hits the target (the delay seems correlated with distance). This was a problem for Zapp from Mu Mastery for awhile too, but was fixed in the last big update. Hopefully this gets looked at.
  4. I've been noticing 10-20 second swings in my run times based on whether or not there are Eclipse Warwolves present. Their resistance to all dmg types is no joke. My elec/shield had a sub 5:00 run, but after re-watching, I noticed I didn't get any of those big boys. I think this is another thing worth mentioning and is important when comparing combos to each other. I believe there are two spots on the map where you can encounter them.
  5. Height 4'9 + Youth Face 5 + Divine Boobs Top Yeah, can't see how that can possibly go wrong..
  6. My elec/shield build had the critical strikes proc in chain induction along with 4 dmg procs and critical strikes acc/dam. It would proc very reliably.
  7. I'm not sure how to set up an environment to replicate this issue so I can record it.. but maybe some of you have seen this happen? Sometimes when I'm playing with a full team, I'll load into a mission and will see groups of enemies that aren't engaged yet having power effects applied to them. I believe this only happens with PBAoE auras and pseudopets. A recent example I encountered was loading into a mission, stealthing to a glowie, and seeing the group of enemies at the end of the map being effected by our Plant Controller's Carrion Creepers (who was back at the beginning of the map). They were being entangled by the plants, but were just standing there. In the past, I've also seen this happen with Hot Feet and Entangling Aura. This is a hard bug to explain or get evidence of, but hopefully someone else has seen something similar and can explain it better. It's not really game breaking, but it does show there's an issue in the code somewhere.
  8. I'd be very against having any kind of in-game public metric of something along the lines of "Likes". I can just see this leading to a lot of toxicity in the community (see Instagram). I've even seen people complain their costumes don't get enough attention on the Discord and Forums. However, the idea of a simple Right Click > "Compliment Costume" sounds amazing. I think the implementation could be both a private message that gets sent to the player and a "thumbs-up" icon that floats above the character for a second or two (similar to the icons used for the dice emotes). It would be cool if this animation could be seen by other players nearby, too. I know that last sentence may seem contradictory to my first statement, but I think it's the quantification of "Likes" that would be a major problem, not necessarily the public display of admiration.
  9. Archery/TA is so ridiculously fun to play. The only combo I enjoy more is Fire/Fire. You're just constantly able to spam AoE attacks and see tons of orange numbers. My Beam/TA plays similarly and I'd imagine AR/TA and Water/TA would be great as well. Averaged around 5:30 using Ageless and break frees. Was averaging around 7:00 using Clarion.. was much slower and dangerous due to end drain.
  10. In my opinion, it would look worse for your character to be doing bow animations without the bow.. I want to suggest you choose a different secondary powerset that's similar to TA... but none of the others really compare. This is unfortunate because TA is by far the best secondary for a purely ranged build. I think the real solution to this issue would be to advocate for a new purely ranged blaster secondary powerset. It would be nice to see TA have some competition.
  11. Also, allow us to buy the passive accolade bonuses at P2W.. since that's something we probably do on every character anyway.
  12. It wasn't until just now that I realized Sentinels don't have Stone Armor. I would support this 100%. Seeing a big Granite boulder shooting projectiles from a distance would be too cool.
  13. Hard pass. As mentioned above, this is what Brainstorm is for. You might think this wouldn't affect other players, but it would. A lot of the players that I regularly play with usually run DFB/Radios/AE until lvl 22-27, slot SO's or attuned IO's, and then get to 50 via TFC > Maria Jenkins > ITF. I find this is more enjoyable when most of the team is under 50. I'd say this usually takes 6-7 hours of playing. It might only take 2 hours of AE to get to 50, but the tradeoff is that you won't be making progress toward accolades during that time. I've noticed this gives incentive for people to run content before being lvl 50 and allows for a pretty good balance between fully-built characters and those under 50. There is a HUGE difference between being lvl 50 and say, 49. Being level shifted and able to slot VR/50+5 IO's is a major bump in performance. IMO, it's going to be a boring game if EVERY team I'm on that's running low-level content is full of 100% built teammates. There's already been a ton of threads started on this forum asking for ways to curb the steamrolling... this would just make the state of the game worse than it already is. Imagine being new to the game and on almost every team you join, you're the only player under 50 without purple IO's and incarnate powers. Don't get me wrong, I love playing on HC.. but this suggestion is clearly something that would divide the community.
  14. The main reason I would disagree with this is because it would blur the line between primary and secondary powersets. I think of it as your character being more talented and gifted in using their primary powers than their secondary powers. That being said, it makes sense that they will take a longer time to train their secondary abilities. My worry is that this request won't stop at the lvl 1 t2 option. I think it will evolve into asking to make the secondary t3 power available at lvl 2, etc etc. There should be a clear distinction between your two sets and I think locking lvl 1 power choice to the t1 is one of the best ways to do it. If you want to have entangling and flash arrow available at lvl 1, you need to play a Defender who will be more skilled in using that powerset than a corrupter, mastermind, or controller.
  15. My favorite thing about sentinels is their epic power pools, specifically psi mastery. I think I dedicate more power choices and slots to epic pool choices on sentinels than any other AT. I mean you have Mind Probe, Dominate, Psychic Shockwave, AND Link Minds available to you.. it's amazing. There's so many tools available to you in these sets (PBAoE attacks, melee attacks, heals, buffs, debuffs, CC's...) I was every AT had epic pools as diverse as the ones Sentinels have.
  16. Got about a 4:48 run with an elec/shield scrapper. Was happy to see this combo can still put up respectable numbers. I have a feeling this would beat a stalker as well because of the better AoE modifier. This build could definitely use tactics and more accuracy enhancing, but nonetheless it gave me my fastest trapdoor run.
  17. I should take it even further and design a mod that disables tab targeting. Gonna go hit some 360 no scopes.
  18. Well as a beam rifle blaster it's an FPS game from his perspective. I see it as his technology providing a HUD and interface that turns real life combat into a virtual reality FPS game.
  19. Gameplay (BR/TA Blaster) Taking virtual reality gaming to the next level, Gameplay uses reality bending technology to turn his mundane life into an action-packed FPS game.
  20. I also think a lot of players don't PVP because there's no need to PVP. My suggestion would be to give some kind of reward system that incentivizes PVP. I don't think this would be feasible in zone PVP since PVP IO's drop in regular content now... so the challenge would be to make this into an instance. The Arena makes the most sense. Perhaps you could give a reward roll to the winner with rewards being based on the level range (rare salvage for lowbies, incarnate components for incarnates, etc). This would probably have to be limited to once per day so it doesn't get abused. This was just a suggestion off the top of my head.. But I think the only way to increase PVP population is to make changes that are purely optional. Forcing PVP onto players on any server would be a horrible, horrible idea.
  21. What @BZRKR said. Yes. I use a color wheel to pick a color palettes before starting in the costume creator and often find that I have to make compromises on colors. It would be awesome if we had the full array available.
  22. Shield/EM You never die and get to constantly see orange numbers that are over 1000. Pretty decent AoE dmg as well.
  23. This sounds like it'd be a cool setting available from Null the Gull as well. If we can nullify run speed increases, I don't see why we shouldn't be able to nullify translucency. I would support this just for the sake of being able to see your costume, let alone the defense boosts.
  24. Took a quick screen recording to show the mentioned behavior. If you watch my mouse, I click the p2w power and click the macro right as the base menu pops up. When I zone into the base, the p2w power recharges. It's available to cast again when I leave the base.
  25. My ice/elec blaster, Coldzap.
