  1. https://massivelyop.com/2024/01/05/city-of-heroes-homecoming-talks-funding-the-city-council-and-the-impending-content-drop/ according to this, they are still not allowed to pay the developers. So they can't actually hire people. But if it makes you feel better, new content is apparently imminently happening.
  2. I think Number Six's arc occurs after Magisterium. There's still some life left in Praetoria.
  3. For me, it's a conclusion to Praetoria. Need a thing to let the gold siders get to 50 after Night Ward. Let us fight The Golden Hami! A zone/arc of arcs is a shit load of work I'm sure but I can dream lol.
  4. Holy shit! Never thought I'd see the day!
  5. I come and go. I'm currently taking a break personally so I have more time for IRL.
  6. I definitely try to do stuff as I level. It feels more like a "career" that way mentally. Ouro is just not the same. Though I'll still Ouro stuff as well. It's definitely not my preference though.
  7. For me, it and Citadel are overly repetitive and boring more than anything. I would support making it more interesting and varied as much as I would support just shortening it instead.
  8. Well, saw one of these angels in Night Ward just now. Thought it was just another Talon, but it was a grey NPC that was non-interactable, who then just eventually TP'd out of there. Looking it up, they do exist as a mysterious and unexplained group. https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Angels Anyone else see these mysterious things before?
  9. A lot of the older content did not age well to be sure. You can avoid much of that on Hero side though (red and gold obviously don't really have the problem that badly to begin with, especially gold). Starting out I like to do the new AP missions, then the new Skulls missions in KR, then Faultline, and Lockhart and Easton in Steel Canyon. Then I do the Clone missions in Talos and the Mediporter missions. At this point I have a bit of a gap. You could do Croatoa but although I like the zone and atmosphere, there are a lot of bad missions here in the arcs. RWZ is an option as well. It's more fun IMO at least.
  10. The solstice is just some celestial milestone with only an indirect correlation to what signifies winter to me: when it's cold AF all the time.
  11. Lol, I just did that one the other day. I think I had way fewer to take care of than that though. Or I'm misremembering. What's weird too is that some are clickies and some are destroyable objects. They are also strangely durable for a bunch of CD's.
  12. I just use the default channels minus global and request (other than for listening to raid instructions). I use them all pretty regularly. I find it fun to bs with random people even when you're paying solo.
  13. Maybe call it bunker or pillbox and have it be an above ground structure. Could be as simple as a ring of sandbags.
  14. I just thought of something else, which is probably an unpopular opinion from the general trajectory of the current conversation, but I'd like some more NEW Blue content in the mid to high 30's - 50 range. I feel like I'm stuck doing the same content here that's not super compelling. And they won't stop sending me to different zones every mission. It just feels like a slog. Levels take a decent amount of time here too so I'm here for awhile. I'd like some good story to read/play while I'm stuck here at least. The new HC/latter Paragon arcs are quite good and get you up to this point but are too few and far between to get you through these level ranges alone. Do all paths lead to ITF? lol
  15. They're sponsored by Crey, so they're probably a Crey plot of some sort.
  16. Goldside I guess. But personally, I have a hard time getting into the story unless I'm on a team. Unless I'm the leader I can't read half the text, and no one wants to wait for someone to read all that anyway. So I'm more or less ok with the teaming situation as is already.
  17. I didn't feel as strongly about it but I agree he was iconic and it was a waste to kill him off, especially due to... ...This. Darrin Wade is some literally who.
  18. It's one of my favorites to be sure. I like arc of arcs, and the story is good. I did think it was legit creepy personally. And as others said, it is badass seeing all the dudes from everywhere showing up to fight the BP. It's a real "fuck yeah" moment on par to the end of Night Ward when a certain witch ghost shows up to steal the show (and something else).
  19. Drinking a beaker or test tube of green stuff maybe? Or some Frankenstein lightning stuff.
  20. Yep. The transcript just opens a separate window with all the words on there for us. The video is unchanged. AFAIK the Galaxy City tutorial is the only thing with a voiceover. I've done a lot of the newer content including Who Will Die and Pandora's Box, and those don't have any voiceover.
  21. I know that feel. We have mandatory training that we do online for various certs and safety things and it's horrible torture. Everything should take less than 5 minutes per but it is triple or more time due to the damn videos and voice overs. And don't start talking about disability access in this case. The place is a machine shop making airplane parts. If there are blind people here I just don't want to know, and you better know how to read or some of these things are going to fly funny. As far as OP's suggestion, I'd be ok with it as an option, or as something for cutscenes. Depends on how good it is though. It is weird and random that the Galaxy City tutorial has a voice over.
  22. I don't care about these companies, but I care about what these companies' lawyers might do.
  23. I like them in general, though some are way more epic than others. Some are really not all that big or special. One of my favorites is the Seed of Hamidon. It is just so intimidating and dominant in First Ward. I still remember the first time seeing it with my bro and we both freaked out and just ran. It's presence and atmosphere is just so good.
